Finishing up the album here. I actually find them quite endearing, and the overall production is solid, but I’m worried about the longevity of these tracks. I doubt many of them will be stuck in my head a month from now. The exceptions might be "I'm Your Villain" and the absolute masterpiece "Outsiders"—in my opinion, the only track that truly holds its own against the hits from the first record.

Outsiders is actually a really solid thing

Anyway... after a few listens, the new FFa actually edges out the original by a mile.

Honestly, it’s a fantastic album—hardly anything to complain about here. It’s just one of those records from before Gavrilo Princip changed everything.👍

Checking it out right now. Honestly, after listening to it a few times, I've gotta say... at first glance, I really thought it was going to feel like a carbon copy of that first album. But man, was I wrong. 😁

I guess Gavrilo Princip could actually pull off some really cool covers of FF tracks if he played them in the Residents stil 😁

What an absolute masterpiece of an album! Honestly, there isn't a single flaw to be found... the songwriting, the production, everything is just spot on. I actually caught them playing about four or five of these new tracks live at Lollapalooza earlier this year, so I felt pretty prepared going in. There are easily 4 or 5 massive singles in here, making it 100% 😁

ps. Outsiders and I'm Your Villain are definitely the standout tracks for me.
