Greetings to everyone.
Mark Fox44, where can I find some Psorex in Washington, D.C.? I am running quite low on my current supply.
As for my usual routine, I tend to load the cream into a medical syringe, apply it directly to the scalp, and then apply pressure... I haven't actually been treating my scalp for about four months now, and the area I previously treated seems to be holding up quite well. However, I have noticed two small spots emerging elsewhere, which are difficult to manage because they cover such tiny areas that after just two applications, they become almost impossible to locate by touch 😬. Furthermore, I haven't been applying it daily, but rather only following my hair washing sessions.

Hey, Happy Holidays! Honestly, that sounds like classic Pavlovic ointment. Thanks so much for the tip! I feel a bit bad that you're dealing with a different situation than us guys—I know things get way more complicated for women when Neotigason is involved—but if you aren't planning on getting pregnant anytime soon, I highly recommend it. Don't listen to those doctors too much; they talk about three years of waiting, but you'll start seeing real improvements in just about 10 days. To be honest, I don't even bother going to them anymore. Sometimes I think we actually know more about psoriasis than they do! About five years ago, I was actually staying at the Military Hospital in New York City, and there were times I'd even help out some of the residents by helping them write up discharge papers for patients with psoriasis. Take care!

I just wanted to suggest using plain white Vaseline—whenever your skin feels super dry, just slather that on. It works wonders for me! Of course, everyone is different, but it’s cheap and totally neutral. If it worked for my similar issues, I bet it’ll work for yours too. Also, is that "pavlogal" the Pavlovic ointment? If it is, that's fine too, but I find Vaseline just spreads easier and feels better.
As for the Neotigason, my doctor told me it takes like three whole years for your body to fully clear it out. She was pretty firm about it because it's a teratogen, especially regarding pregnancy. 👎
Anyway, I'm just happy to hear it's working for you. Best wishes!!

Hey everyone!
Thought I’d jump in here and join the conversation. Here’s my story.
Last September, out of nowhere, this red patch popped up on my skin. It just sat there and started peeling. My doctor put me on some Elcom cream, I used it, and it cleared up. Everything seemed fine until a couple of weeks later when these little spots reappeared. I kept applying the cream, they'd vanish, then new ones would show up... nothing crazy, so I wasn't sweating it too much, just kept treating it as I went.
But about three weeks ago, I caught strep throat and ended up with a full-body rash along with these sheep-like patches on my torso. Saw a dermatologist who reckoned it might be an allergy. He gave me two types of antihistamines and some Belobaza-Belodermi ointment to rub on. It isn't working, though. Every single day it just gets worse. So, I started digging around online and stumbled upon guttate psoriasis, which looks exactly like what I'm dealing with. Found this forum and saw a ton of helpful stuff, which inspired me to finally post something.
For now, that's just my take on it. I'm heading back to the dermatologist soon, so I'll update you guys on the official diagnosis and whatever treatment plan they throw at me.
Catch ya later.

I suppose I should join the conversation as well... it all started like this...
Last September, a single red patch appeared out of nowhere on my body. It just sat there and eventually started peeling. My doctor prescribed Elcom, which I applied, and it cleared up. Everything seemed fine until about a month or two later when a few spots popped up... I've been treating them as they appear, and while they vanish, new ones seem to take their place. It hasn't been anything major, so I haven't let it bother me too much... just applying the cream and moving on...
Three weeks ago, I contracted strep throat, which triggered a widespread rash across my body, including those distinct, scaly patches. My dermatologist suggested it might be an allergic reaction and prescribed two types of antihistamines along with some topical creams... It hasn't helped at all. After searching online, everything seems to point toward guttate psoriasis, which matches my symptoms perfectly. Seeing how much helpful advice people share on this forum inspired me to finally join the conversation...
For now, this is just my personal take... I have another appointment with the dermatologist coming up soon, so I'll update everyone on the diagnosis and the treatment plan they prescribe...
do sljedeceg pisanja.

Hello...🙂

It’s honestly quite tragic that your doctor didn't refer you to a dermatologist...👎👎
Make sure to get a referral for a dermatologist first; Beloderm is a potent medication and really should only be used under medical supervision...

Hi there. I've recently started hitting the gym—so, I was wondering... would there be any negative side effects if I decided to start taking protein powder and creatine? 🤷

hm... Sophia Martinez3 actually got me thinking about something I recently read... regarding us women—I came across some info suggesting that autoimmune diseases can trigger an earlier onset of menopause. Is there any truth to that? What have you all gathered on this?

Quick update for you guys. Hit up the allergy clinic today, and since my antihistamines aren't doing squat, they sent me over to the psoriasis department. They gave me a more thorough look and think it might be guttate psoriasis, but they aren't 100% sure yet. I have to get a biopsy done, so I won't have a solid diagnosis for another two weeks. In the meantime, they told me to stick with the usual suspect—everyone knows the one—Belosalic... and if I need something for my face, just grab some Bepanthen ointment. Also, they said I can head over to the University tanning beds if I want, so I actually went for my first session today. They prescribed it three times a week. I'll let you know when the results come in, but the only thing I'm stuck on is whether I should start using the Belosalic right away?

Honestly, I feel like just another guinea pig in their little experiment!!!

Only thing is, I'm on the fence about starting the BELOSALIC right now...

Honestly, I feel like just another lab rat to them!!!

Oh, and I also need to get blood work done and a referral for an ENT, just so they can decide if my tonsils need to come out if they're the underlying cause.

They also cleared me for UV therapy at the University center, so I went for my first session today; they prescribed three times a week. Don't you dare put Betamethasone on your face!!!!

Well, you could try applying a very thin layer of Betamethasone to your body. If you're heading in for UVB sessions, make sure you shower at home beforehand and don't apply anything to your skin. Your skin needs to be completely clean and dry for the light treatment.

You could also try using Vaseline on the affected areas. You can pick it up at CVS. A large tub is only about $2.75🙂

You'll see everything clearly once those biopsy results come back...👍

Well, I’m still pretty young—almost 20—so I won't even be thinking about pregnancy for a few years yet 😁
As for the meds, I used Neotigason for two years and didn't see any real results; in fact, once I stopped, I actually felt better because all those side effects finally cleared up.
I totally agree that sometimes we know more than the professionals—after all, none of them actually live with psoriasis, they just study it.
Best, 😍

Quick question for the Vaseline fans here 😁: how long and how often should I be applying Vaseline to these flaky patches if I want to get rid of the scales and just leave the redness?
Also, should I be mixing it with a nourishing or neutral moisturizer, or just stick to plain old Vaseline?

In my case, I’ve been using nothing but Vaseline for about two months now. During the first month, I still had some redness, but as long as you stay on top of hygiene, the flaking stays away. Over the last month, even the redness has calmed down, and some of the areas where I had thinning skin look totally normal again. Nothing new has flared up in these two months. I use only that—nothing else—and after showering, I rub in some local olive oil. I haven't started using castor oil yet, but I probably will.
I apply the Vaseline once a day, at night—if I do it in the morning, it just sticks to my clothes. I think that cabbage cream > uses might be good too, since it's all-natural. Best, 😍

It’s not even about supplements for me, unless we're talking vitamins or Omega-3. My Doctor told me that messing with your body's natural balance is a quick way to flare up psoriasis. It's common knowledge that certain meds can trigger a bad reaction too.

I don't usually spend much time posting or reading; it’s always depressing seeing new accounts pop up—basically just more victims of this mess. Personally, things haven't improved at all. Ever since I started using some nasty Belgian ointment, my skin has been itching so badly that my shirts are covered in blood and I'm ruining my sheets. There’s no fighting it; if I get even slightly agitated, it becomes an absolute nightmare. My skin is bright red—thin, but red—and it stings my eyes just looking at it. This has been dragging on since last summer, and if this cream doesn't start working soon, I already know what kind of hell awaits me this summer. Honestly, it's been hanging over my head all year. I might try starting some herbal tea again to cleanse my system, since I feel like I'm definitely toxic on the inside. The 26th is coming fast, but this misery refuses to leave. No relief in sight.

Once you've done that, cover the pot and give it an occasional stir until the liquid cools down enough to comfortably soak the psoriasis.
2-Take a shower first so your skin isn't greasy, then make sure you dry off completely.
3-Rub the brewed tea thoroughly (or pour it) over the psoriasis patches and just let it air dry—don't wipe it off. You should ideally do this treatment right before bed, every single day until the psoriasis clears up entirely, and then switch to once a week after that.

It worked for me, so I really hope it does for you too.

Hey there... quick question, can this be used on the scalp as well??

Also, one more thing—I haven't read through everything from the very beginning, so my apologies if someone already covered this... what are the actual side effects of using Betamethasone lotion? I've been using it on my scalp for a really, really long time (like ten years or so) on and off in short bursts (a month here, two months there)... it helps, but I'm still worried because I've heard it isn't exactly healthy...

Well, you're right about that. There isn't much we can do at this stage 🤷

I've stopped trying to argue my way out of it. Honestly, I think I actually lead a more fulfilling life than most people who have perfectly clear skin🤣.

I have great friends, wonderful parents, an amazing boyfriend, I'm in college, and I make sure to enjoy life while it lasts 😍😉
