To me, seeing all those flannel shirts in *My So-Called Life* was such a vibe—it really captured that whole era. I mean, back in '95, grunge was absolutely killing it!

And of course, the fun-loving crew)... or maybe it's all about big assets and sexy moms (Beyoncé)... lalala

Grunge was achieved a long time ago, my friend, and it's still very much alive—you're just clearly out of the loop.

p.s. Try brushing up on your English and look up a grunge lyric or two; maybe then you'll realize that you're the one who's actually losing it by spouting such nonsense! 🙂

Eddie Vedder — People even turned on him and Cobain because they released the album "Vs." (we're talking about Pearl Jam here) without filming a single music video! Meanwhile, Nirvana cranked out five or six videos for the Nevermind album. Of course, "Vs." still climbed straight to number one on the Billboard charts. Instead of turning to drugs—even though he lost a ton of friends and his mentor was found murdered (it was a dark time, really)—he used his earnings to buy instruments and donate to charity.
He writes songs with such soulful, melancholic themes, too, but man, maybe you just haven't caught the message in those lyrics yet.

P.S. Don't you dare try telling me you should be just like them and start using drugs...

Bravo! I listen to Pearl Jam myself, though not all that much because I can't stand songs that leave you with absolutely zero hope... The talent is incredible and everything else is great, but that’s the only reason they aren't my thing...
