Just wondering...

Heh, let me correct what I said on the first page. I'm actually at 207/126 right now. 🙂 It’s been four months, sure, but I’ve dropped nearly twenty pounds. To be fair, last year around New Year's I was 250, but let's not go there.

Anyway, quick question for students who don't head home much. Do you notice big shifts in your weight depending on whether you're home or away? For me, I was 250 a year and a half ago, then I spent most of the year back home and ended up hitting 310. 😲 Then, around November, I moved back to Washington, D.C., and I've been on a steady decline ever since (Nov 13, 135, now 126). And btw, it's not like I'm overeating at home or starving myself here. It's just that I have regular meals at home, whereas here, I just eat whenever I can find the time.

Last time I was that light, I don't think I even knew how to write yet.☕

Not quite, but pretty close. 😬

You're a total tool.

Just own it.

Just like I have to deal with being perfect every single day. 🙂 🙂

If it makes you feel better, my stats are sitting at 160/54 right now... doesn't make me feel any better, since I lost all my curves.😵

I went all in on heavy lifting too. Even now, I look pretty decent—honestly, I'm proud of my curves 😍 😳 , and my tight backside 😍 😳 )

Nice. Why don't you back those claims up with some photos in a bikini or something, just so we actually believe you?😁

I was 187/95 on the scale yesterday, so that's why my running pace is a bit sluggish lately.

I'll go first: 6'1"/185lbs
The old-timers say those are basically perfect numbers, though I can tell my gut is hanging a little low 😬
If you check out , there’s this "Gut-O-Meter" tool that tells me I've definitely got a bit of a beer belly 🙂
Your turn!

Curetak said:At my height, 5'4" and about 105 lbs, I look completely malnourished😲 , yeah, I'm tiny, but that's just my build and I'm definitely not overweight... honestly, you can't just use math to decide who's fat or skinny and call it a day.
Some people just have heavier bone density😁
.... damn, that doesn't really help my case...

5'7" and 103/105 lbs🤣 👋

185 lbs at 70 inches—I really ought to pack on another 20 pounds or so (just looking at Roger Williams3's post above this one). I’ve been trying to put on some mass, but it’s just not happening.

You know, looking at my own stats—6'2" and 196 lbs—I actually feel pretty lean. Honestly, trying to pin down an "ideal" weight is such a subjective thing.

My BMI is technically ideal for a man, but I’m honestly not happy with how I look; my stomach area is a mess, and I just can't seem to shake this stubborn fat. I watch what I eat, I try to stay active for at least two hours every single day, I cut out heavy dinners a long time ago, I don't touch sugar, and I don't drink juice—it's just water and unsweetened tea, sometimes up to 5 liters a day... but I just can't get my midsection flat.😕
Ab workouts are useless right now because they won't do anything until you burn off the fat layer first.
Does anyone have any actual advice?😕

I guess your issue isn't even that massive! First off, your BMI isn't actually ideal... it's just within the normal range, so you probably need to put on a bit more weight (muscle mass, obviously)! You'll get abs by working them, which is obvious, but you aren't going to see those "six-pack" lines through ab exercises alone; you have to run to burn the cover off! We all have those muscles, it's just a question of visibility, and that depends entirely on how much fat is sitting on top of them. It looks like you've really disciplined your diet and you're being careful, so I suppose your only real option left is to start running! If you hit the pavement for a few miles every day, you might see some great results in a few weeks. Maybe you could also try taking some L-carnitine (I'd suggest carni-fx or thermo-fx) to boost the effect, though I guess you don't strictly have to.👍

My blood pressure monitor is giving me readings that look more like "bones and goat" than actual numbers.

Now that’s a fantastic suggestion! Why don't you send us a few shots so we can get a good look at everything?😲 🙏
