You got it wrong... I actually got mine bundled with my old PC, then ripped it out and tossed it in the trash once I upgraded to a GeForce FX 5900 because the power supply started acting up.

That power supply might be okay for an old Pentium III or maybe an early Pentium 4, but I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole if you're trying to run anything more powerful than that.

Man... don't be such a softie. Imagine if Kenneth White17 actually decided to call you out? He probably wouldn't even show his face around here again after that... 😁

I already tried talking to that idiot...
but clearly, nothing came of it.

As for the other one, it isn't 😬

Now I'm looking at the price list from MS Industrial, and it clearly states their 550W unit goes for $42 🤣
$23 per watt 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 I mean, that has to mean top-tier quality, stability, and safety, right?

I tried running it with a custom scheme too, and honestly, Microsoft is fine—I don't even need anything beefier for my Intel Core i3 setup with 256MB of RAM and a 9200 GSE.

But man, it didn't hold up for shit. Thank god it didn't take the rest of my rig down with it.🙂

Next time I shop, I'm definitely grabbing an EVGA 500 W🙄 along with a new case. That whole thing went straight into the trash... the power supply, not the case.😬

So I'm checking out the Newegg price list right now, and it clearly states the MS Industrial 550W is going for $42 🤣
$23 per watt 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 I guess that’s supposed to mean it’s high-end, stable, and reliable...

Talk about building trust. Though you'd need some serious guts to actually plug that into your own rig 😬

If you’re just pretending to be polite now, then you’re being just as stubborn and difficult as amberorca192.

Instead of actually answering the guy's question, you all seem to be having a contest to see who can land the nastiest insult... (though, to be fair, even back in my hometown, the hardware geeks were always just clueless salespeople). 👍

Cheers!

Instead of actually answering the guy's question, you two are just competing to see who can insult the other more... (though, honestly, even back in my hometown, hardware geeks were always just clueless, bottom-tier salesmen). 👍

Later!

don't even get me started...........
you really are some kind of software genius...........
hahaha................

But did you actually manage to fit one single hard drive into the Raid..............

Besides that, neither I nor the captain are "stubborn Americans." I weigh about 180 pounds, and the captain isn't much heavier than that..............

Look, man, you can joke all you want, but neither you nor amberorca192 actually answered that thread about the Raid setup. Instead, we got a much smarter group from a way more high-end hardware forum giving us the real deal... (well, except for a few people there, though I saw the same thing on that forum too—just not you.)
And honestly? End of discussion!

And that's the end of the discussion!

First off... I gave you an answer. You just didn't deserve it... or maybe you just didn't grasp it, which is a pretty safe bet.
Second... I know exactly which forum you're talking about. I frequent that place too (even if they ban me every now and then). As for the quality being better? Please. Laughable.

The discussion ends when you finally get lost.

Wait, what answer did you give me???
Here, take this damn link and tell me where exactly you answered my question! Look, sure, once I disabled that nvraidservice.exe, the error message stopped popping up in Windows, but I’ve still got a problem. Every time I try to restart the computer—and I don't mean a hard crash, just a normal reboot—it won't recognize my hard drive. It tries to boot from the CD drive instead and gives me a "DISK BOOT FAILURE" error. You haven't actually addressed that part yet...

Sure, when I disabled that nvraidservice.exe, the Windows error stopped popping up, but now whenever I try to restart the PC (and I don't mean pulling the plug), it won't recognize the drive and tries to boot from the CD instead. It just gives me a DISK BOOT FAILURE. You didn't address that at all...

Brilliant........
you sent a link to your own stupidity............

but regarding this other issue (which, by the way, you ignored)........
it's about having to pull the CD out every time you restart the PC......... or changing the boot priority in the BIOS...

Kenneth White17 rustydriver22 said:And just to touch on that other issue—the one you didn't actually bring up over there, by the way...

Man, go back and give it another read—I mentioned right there in my opening post that this was exactly what I was running into.

So, you're trying to get that CD out after you restart your PC?

What kind of nonsense is that? Seriously, what kind of logic is that—telling me I shouldn't have a disc in the drive when I reboot?
...or you can just hop into the BIOS and flip the priority settings.

So, here’s the deal: every time I try to reboot, my system just completely ignores my hard drive. It won't even acknowledge that the disk is there! Since I've set the boot priority to hit the CD drive first, it tries to pull something from the disc, fails miserably, and then just spits out a "DISK BOOT FAILURE" error. It's like my computer is totally blind to the drive.

I’ve got a bad feeling about this... I honestly suspect there might be something wrong with the motherboard itself, God forbid.
