Look, we don't call it water. We call it the ocean. But honestly, I'm getting pretty tired of those people from the Midwest acting all high and mighty, calling it "water" just so they can act smart when we try to correct them.

By the way, that whole "no matter how much salt is in there, it's all just water" logic came from one of my buddies—another coastal guy—during a family dinner after a very long night of heavy drinking. A total mini-epiphany. 😁

I’m giving my vote to everyone except Sublime and Cannibal Corpse. To me, those two bands just seem like total posers compared to the rest of the lineup.

People get too hung up on Dark Star—they’ve got way better anthems than that. It’s basically Dead music for people who don't actually dig the Dead. You gotta take them as a whole unit—the blackouts, those Berry covers, all that mid-set stuff—it's all just pieces of the mosaic for the greatest band ever. Plus, American Beauty and John Wesley Harding are easily the most important American albums out there.

A review is coming soon—I was pretty wasted listening to some old rebel radio stations Thursday morning.

And is anyone else gonna mention how legendary it is that a guy named Lesh played in the Grateful Dead? Just facts.

I didn't vote because I didn't listen to the whole thing—just trying to be fair, you know?

I mean, let's be real, there was no way Cannibal Corpse was taking this home. It would've gone straight to Shaka Zula, so they probably would've just ended up splitting the win anyway.
