I thought the original was pretty engaging, but this sequel? Itโs a total snooze fest. ๐คฆ

Is it even worth my time to watch?
Same crap as the first one. It's basically Die Hard 2 compared to Die Hard. Same vibe, different setting, slightly more explosions, and that's about it...

Total letdown. It moves at half speed compared to the first one. Honestly, it wouldโve been better if they just left it as a standalone. ๐คท

Liam Neeson is finally dropping Taken 3. ๐ ๐ ๐
I'm really curious to see if they can actually live up to Taken: Retribution. ๐คฃ

Someone needs to break it to the idiots out there who are actually begging for Love Actually 2. ๐

Give me a break. ๐ฑ
I just hope it isn't a total snooze fest like the second one. Honestly, did they even need a sequel? ๐คท
And then there's this news about Love Actually 2. ๐คฆ

Bad, bad, bad.
The script is weak, the acting is subpar, and even Anthony Hopkins misses the mark.
Some scenes are just ridiculous,
a total waste of money and time.
They didn't even make good use of New York City, other than flying over the same Grand Mosque five different times. Real subtle.
After such an intriguing first installment, this one is just a complete mess.
I'm skipping the third movie just like I did with the whole Twilight saga.

What absolute garbage ๐คฎ
The most intense part has to be when his crew finally manages to corner him, and then they actually let him call his daughter on her cell just to explain where he is, how everything went down, and what she should do next... ๐ ๐ ๐

Exactly.
They just loop endlessly around the Grand Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Then, once he finally gets snatched, they just hop on a boat and head over to the other side of the cityโyou know, that part where he starts remembering sounds and counting? And then, when the little girl saves him by tossing grenades, it turns out they're right back near that same mosque, running up and down two streets. Honestly, I can't even. ๐

In my estimation, this sequel fails to live up to the standard set by the original. To be blunt, it is quite poorโlacking depth, feeling incredibly naive, and suffering from a script that simply doesn't hold water. Even the action sequences lacked the visceral thrill I was hoping for. I must admit, I feel a certain sense of regret regarding the money I spent on the IMAX experience; it felt somewhat fraudulent, given that they announced before the film even started that it wasn't actually captured with IMAX cameras. It seems the theater just wanted to justify the premium ticket price. The image quality felt unrefined and amateurish, frankly. My advice? Wait until it hits streaming or Blu-ray; it certainly isn't worth spending hard-earned cash on at the cinema.

It's fun garbage, though. Let's give him a little credit anyway ๐

Just watched it. Honestly? Itโs a step down from the original, which was a masterpiece. Iโd give it a 5/10 at best... In the next sequel, they'll probably kidnap his aunt or something, and then all three of them will have to go on some rescue mission.๐

Itโs a total LOS!
Rating: 4/10
Spoilers:
So now Liam is going head-to-head with Robert and his son MARK?! (supposedly he's an Albanian Muslim, so the name doesn't even fit) but Liam killed him back in the first movie.
Robert and some other guy are holding his wife hostage...
Liam is out here mowing down everyone in sight just to reach her, meanwhile, the guy actually holding her barely manages to rip a single button off her shirt with a knife...
Anyway, this movie is trash; honestly, itโs not worth the watch no matter how much people loved the first one. There isn't a single redeeming quality in this thing to save it.
Even Robertโs whole revenge plot for his son being held at some brothel makes zero sense. He catches Liam and the wife, then just drags things out instead of just killing them both instantly...

Oh yeah, I totally forgot to mention this part...
In the first movie, they kidnap the girl to sell her into some shady underworld business, so thereโs at least a shred of logic there...
But in the sequel, where Robert wants to pull a kidnapping himself, he pulls it off and then what? Nothing?! You just sit there and watch the wife dying for thirty minutes straight while he's busy tying someone up so weakly he could easily escape to save her... give me a break!

I really don't see the point of a third installment. ๐คท
I'm with Liam on this one; everything should have stayed within the world of "Taken" and ๐

I was planning on watching it, but now that I see everyone else is so deeply disappointed, Iโm having second thoughts. ๐ค ๐

Bad movie. Honestly expected way more after the first one was actually decent. First off, you can tell Liam Neeson is just going through the motions here... the acting is just subpar. The kid and Fran are terrible, and Liam is basically just punching a clock. As for Ray, heโs playing the typical tough guy trope we see in every single action flickโjust yelling and nothing of substance. The action scenes? Fine, I guess. The taxi chase through Istanbul is okay, and that final fight, Neeson vs. the Main Page Boy, is cool enough, but everything else is mediocre. That whole bit where he calls his daughter from captivity and they have this casual chat while she traverses all of Istanbul to find him is totally unrealistic ๐ just like Ray working with Sherbegie's lack of logic. He knows how capable this guy is and has plenty of resources at his disposal, yet it never occurs to him to just put a single guard in the room with him? Bitch, please. ๐
It would've been much better without the naive nonsense and with more actual action. 5/10
