Taken 2 (2012)

This movie is a total disaster. I haven't seen this much nonsense and pure stupidity in a long, long time. Usually, I don't even care about sequels if the first one was decent, but this? Not happening. Even Taken 2 didn't get a single point out of 10 from me.

Sure, it’s worth a watch, but if you’re comparing it to the first one, this sequel is a total 2/10 for me. 👎

Taken 2 is quite possibly one of the worst films I've ever sat through.
Not a single element of this movie hits even the most basic marks, and the plot feels like it was cobbled together over a single weekend. Still, it managed to pull in a decent amount of cash, so I suppose we should probably expect Taken 3 🙄

Ugh... I honestly thought they were never going to wrap this up. The first installment was actually pretty solid... but this?

The movie isn't actually the total disaster everyone seems to be making it out to be, I guess. It’s just that we had such massive expectations because the first one was so good, so this one feels like a huge letdown by comparison.

Honestly, I didn't expect much to begin with, so I guess I can't be surprised that I'm disappointed again

So, you take a solid, gripping thriller like the first one and turn the sequel into basically just mindless action—yeah, I guess I expected too much. Still, it’s watchable enough. 🙂

maybe Taken 2 wouldn't even be that bad if the original wasn't such a masterpiece.

The first movie was seriously incredible—I was totally blown away.
But the sequel? It’s just... meh. It feels unfinished, like they just threw it together at the last minute because they had to turn something in, you know? Like, "just slap something together and call it a day."

But hey, I guess I'll still watch it just because Liam Neeson is 😍

Not really. Expectations were perfectly aligned with what we saw; it's a decent watch, but far from great...🙂

I have no idea who this Bryan guy thinks he is, it’s actually hard to believe 🙂 Honestly, despite all the nonsense and plot holes scattered throughout this movie, when I step back and look at the big picture, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

In an ocean of mindless action, maybe the standout moment is when the daughter starts dropping bombs all over Turkey without anyone even noticing.

What a desperate attempt at a sequel to a decent first film.

It’s not half bad. But honestly, it doesn't even come close to the first one.

I found this movie to be incredibly poor. When I heard they were making a sequel, I figured it would just be a cheap attempt to cash in on old glory, but I didn't expect it to be this incoherent.

I'll have forgotten this one by Easter, which might actually be for the best.😁
