Like I said at the start, it’s such a shame we aren't on a standard track.

I saw someone on another forum claiming "Verstappen very consistent AT Monaco"... 🙂

Between him and Justin Bieber, they'll probably be drilling holes through half of Monaco tonight... 🙂 🤣

The Safety Car at the start was a disaster. F1 is going downhill.

Daniel Ricciardo, whom some people worship like he's some kind of god, raises his hand immediately after the first duel with Lewis Hamilton. Waving, complaining, whining... what a driver.
Just fight, man. Drive. Race. Instead, it's instant whining and hand gestures. It's pathetic.

You can hate Lewis Hamilton all you want, but the guy is a racer. Meanwhile, everyone wants to stop every single duel to run calculations and debates about who is at fault, why they are at fault, or whatever else...
Lewis Hamilton cut the chicane, sure, but he didn't gain anything because Daniel Ricciardo was right there trying to attack, and Lewis simply defended. Move on. Just race, Daniel Ricciardo! But no, he waves his hand and cries that everyone ruined his race...🙂
And then the stewards announce they're reviewing the situation. Seriously, where did the spirit of honest racing go? They investigate every little thing to see if someone deserves a penalty.
F1 is becoming a joke. The word "racing" is losing its actual meaning.

#3 dominated the weekend and his team basically handed him a deserved win. If the roles were reversed, he’d likely be getting penalized for defending a corner like that, but instead, nothing happens. Classic Lewis Hamilton move.

Honestly, screw Justin Bieber and that whole champagne stunt...
I didn't even care much about Lewis Hamilton before, but after seeing this, I just find the whole thing repulsive...
Man...

Lewis Hamilton dominated the weekend, and his team rightfully secured him the win. If the roles were reversed, he’d probably be facing a penalty for defending that corner like that—yet here we go again, totally untouched. Classic Lewis.

Haha.

Richard Ross11 said:Man, I don't care what anyone says about Justin Bieber and that whole champagne incident... just total nonsense.
I didn't even care for Lewis Hamilton before, but after this? Now it’s just hard to watch.
Buddy...

After a drive like that, I’d almost respect Lewis Hamilton enough to have him drop to his knees right after the race and suck Justin Bieber off.

The guy pulled off a masterclass. He switched from full wets straight to slicks, then managed to hammer out over 40 laps on those ultra-soft compounds. Honestly? Nobody at Pirelli even dreamed anyone could pull that off.

What's with this obsession over who's hanging out with whom? ☕ You all act like bitter old ladies
Kudos to Lewis, Sergio Perez, and Fernando Alonso... surely better days are coming for Sergio Perez—maybe once he finally replaces the chemical mess currently occupying a seat at Ferrari

UK GP.

Are you planning on keeping me in your avatar through the end of the season?

The Safety Car at the start was an absolute disaster; honestly, Formula 1 is just spiraling downhill.

Then you have Sergio Perez, whom some people insist on treating like some kind of legendary icon, yet the moment he has his first real duel with Lewis Hamilton, he immediately throws his hands up, waving them around, whining, complaining... if that's what passes for a "real driver" these days, I simply don't know.
Why don't you just fight, man? Just drive and actually race!! The instant complaining and hand-waving is just frankly nauseating.

You can despise Lewis Hamilton all you want, but the man is a pure racer. It seems everyone wishes we could just halt the race every time there's a duel so we can begin these endless mathematical calculations to determine who is at fault, why they are at fault, whether it was because of this or that...
Lewis cut the chicane after recovering his position, but he didn't gain any real advantage because Sergio Perez was right on his tail attempting an overtake, which Lewis successfully defended against, and then the race should move on—just keep racing, Sergio Perez!! But no, instead we get the hand-waving and the whimpering about how everyone ruined the race for him...🙂
And then, predictably, the stewards announce they're going to deliberate on the situation; honestly, where has the spirit of fair, hard-nosed racing gone when they feel the need to investigate every tiny little thing to see if someone deserves a penalty?
Formula 1 is becoming increasingly ridiculous, and the very essence of what it means to "race" is being lost.

I can certainly agree with you that he is a true racer and remains one of the finest drivers on the grid today, having executed a flawless race. However, let us consider the context: first, Nico Rosberg had to clear the way for him (something Lewis Hamilton would never have done for Nico Rosberg, if we recall the events in Canada back in 2014), and then Red Bull completely botched things for Sergio Perez in the pits. Finally, during that battle on the track, Lewis Hamilton cut the chicane because it was quite literally the only way left to maintain his lead. We saw a very similar scenario play out back in 2013. involving Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez, where Alonso was penalized and forced to yield his position to Perez.

Come on, guys, let’s not act like kids here. It feels like Nico Rosberg is just destined to deal with "mechanical failures" and some questionable strategic calls for the rest of the season. I mean, unless someone actually manages to be faster than the Justin Bieber of racing, I guess we already know how this plays out.

It feels like Nico Rosberg is practically guaranteed those "technical glitches" and questionable strategic calls for the rest of the season—it's almost predictable at this point. I mean, unless someone actually dares to be faster than that Justin Bieber-style ringleader, we're just watching a script unfold.
🙂

What we saw today was a perfect example of that. He wasn't dealing with any actual car issues whatsoever.

Well, I guess Toto Wolff isn't buying that, though. He’s out there saying Nico had an incredible pace, even with that obvious mechanical glitch messing things up.

So why did Sergio Perez drift wide like that right at the start?
During the broadcast, Will Buxton mentioned that Nico Rosberg was dealing with overheating brakes, which is why they ordered him to move out of the way so Lujo could try to catch up to Sergio Perez..
If that hadn't happened, I doubt he would have moved, and he certainly wouldn't have ended up in seventh, losing a position in those final 100 meters of the race...

It's because if he hadn't backed off, they would've crashed. Hamilton was just defending his line aggressively—nothing more than that.

One look at Hamilton and Ricciardo’s faces after the race was enough.
Ricciardo looked like he’d just lost half his family. Honestly, I get it. His finish—whether it was second, fifth, or tenth... who even knows anymore—was probably a disaster.
Then there's Hamilton, doing his usual routine, acting like he just stumbled into some massive win by pure luck. I still don't quite wrap my head around it.

If we’re going to bet, let's do it properly.

The avatar, the signature, the location, and the quote.

Avatar:

Quote:
NEW ERA - NEW STRENGTH

Location:
Anderson's mess

Signature:
BAN MARASOVCU!

Just those things, mind you. No modifications or extra additions (like in the signature).

Until the end of the season—or whenever the champion is decided, whichever comes first.
For instance, if the title is settled in Mexico (October 30, 2016), then the loser can change their avatar, quote, location, and signature the very next day (exactly at midnight, 0:00 on October 31, 2016). At that point, the obligation from the bet expires.

STOP THE MARASOVCU BAN!

Of course, this is strictly under those conditions, without any modifications or additions—such as changing the signature, for instance.

The wager lasts until the end of the season, or until the championship is decided, whichever occurs first.
For example, if the champion is crowned as early as the Mexico City race (October 30th, 2016), then the individual who loses the bet may change their avatar, status, location, and signature the very next day (that is to say, precisely at midnight, 0:00 on October 31st, 2016)... at which point the obligation resulting from the lost wager ceases to exist.

That is acceptable. I merely wish to remind you of your previous assertion
Jason Campbell70 said:Lewis leaves Indianapolis in the lead.
How easy was that?

If you feel that you have overextended yourself with that statement, perhaps we might reconsider and adjust the terms of our wager to encompass the entire season instead.
