I mean, what can you do? He looks like he's about to break down in tears—it clearly isn't easy for him... but hey, that's just life. Shit happens.

Hamilton 🙏
Honestly, the guy has matured. He’s acting way more composed than we've ever seen him before. 👍
I half expected him to just ram Rosberg's car when he pulled up, lose his mind, and go absolutely ballistic...
You could tell he was incredibly frustrated, but he handled the whole thing like a total gentleman. 🙏
Props to him. You need nerves of steel to pull that off. After today, he’s gained massive respect in my book—seriously, huge respect. 👍

Vettel had a great race, and Button was nothing short of phenomenal. 👍

He messed up because he actually listened to them. A true champion wouldn't have made that call in a situation like this... Sure, it's easy for us to play critic when everything turns into a chaotic mess and nobody knows what's going on, but he HAD to realize those two were close enough to overtake him. Instead, he followed his "strategists" blindly and got burned because they screwed him over. A real champion doesn't make mistakes like that...

Last race, he could've totally covered Hamilton during that second pit stop. Why didn't he? Because he's just being thick 👋

Alonso has 2 titles
Button has 1 title

👋

Relax. Title counts are meaningless. Alonso had a dominant car in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2010, yet he only managed two titles. Button had a dominant car in 2009 and pulled off one title. Basically, Button's efficiency is 100% while Alonso's is 50%. Plus,

Anthony Baker84 said:Why did Alonso get a 5-second penalty while Ricciardo didn't? I mean, Ricciardo was actually ahead of the other car. What kind of logic is this? Or were both incidents supposed to be penalties?

The criteria... same old story.
If the other driver doesn't walk away with damage, you usually don't see a penalty.
Kimi wasn't forced off the track and his car was fine. Hulk got shoved wide, lost a ton of positions, and had to pit because his car was damaged.

It’s always judged this way whenever things are borderline—somewhere between a racing incident and something worth a heavy penalty. That's exactly why Alonso's penalty was such a joke...

Alonso has two titles under his belt
Button has one title

👋

So that's how you're choosing to see it, huh?

If that's your logic, then I guess you've basically decided that Hamilton and Vettel are superior drivers compared to Alonso 🙂🙂🙂

Honestly, you're just digging your own grave here.

Are we seeing a little bit of frustration here because our maestro DNF happened? 🤣

It’s the exact same story with Vettel—he made the wrong call by following Ferrari's pit wall and staying out while Ham went for that different strategy and snatched the win 👋

stormybadger8 said:It comes down to the criteria again...
If there isn't actual damage caused to the other driver, you rarely see a penalty...
Kimi wasn't forced off the track and his car was fine. But Hulk got pushed out, lost a ton of positions, and had enough damage that he had to pit...

That’s always how they judge it whenever things get messy—trying to decide if it's just a racing incident or something worthy of a harsh penalty. That’s exactly why Alonso’s penalty ended up being so light...

But honestly, he earned it...

gentlemoose57 said:Man, when people try telling me Hamilton isn't as consistent as Vettel. It’s ridiculous. Not only has he spent most of his career fighting unreliable cars—and let's be real, even last year there was zero chance of him pulling off nine wins in a row—but now he's stuck with a team that just can't keep up.

🤦
Last year, Hamilton had a car capable of 20 straight wins... and he had Rosberg right next to him as his only real competition, who honestly couldn't touch him.

Maybe he’s just still salty about 2010 when he spent 20 laps stuck behind a Marussia in Monaco. Reminds me of another "elite" driver, Coulthard, who I'm pretty sure spent half the race trailing an Arrows back in 2001.

Man, you're just being super annoying and extra right now, and if you honestly think today's wreck was proof he isn't the best, then you've seriously got some issues to work through.

Right behind Enrique Bernoldi... And honestly, nobody has seen a trace of him in F1 since then.

I know, it’s easy for us to sit here on the sidelines and play armchair strategist when everything turns into a total clusterfuck and nobody knows who's doing what anymore, but he really should have realized those two were breathing down his neck and ready to blow right past him. Instead, he just blindly followed whatever nonsense his "tacticians" were feeding him, and he got burned because they completely botched the call. A true champion doesn't make amateur mistakes like that...

He isn't the best. He's just driving the best car, and his entire team had a complete misunderstanding of strategy today... If he were truly the best, he would have won. Instead, Rosberg and Vettel were clearly the better drivers out there. End of story.

🤣🤣🤣

Look, I'll give you 2005—Renault was just more reliable than McLaren back then, so people always used that as an excuse. BUT in 2006, Ferrari was just as fast as Renault, if not faster (you could see that right at the first race when both Ferraris jumped the Renaults)... in 2007, McLaren and Ferrari were basically neck-and-neck... and as for 2010, we all know exactly who screwed Alonso over.

Those guys on the pit wall were staring at their telemetry like they didn't have a clue about the gap, but he just had to go out there and take a complete shot in the dark...

That's how they always judge things whenever it's a gray area—something sitting right on the line between a racing incident and something worth a harsh penalty. That's exactly why Fernando Alonso's penalty was so minimal in the first place...

Honestly, I'd just send them all over to NASCAR and let the FIA deal with it—maybe then the UCI and the drivers would stop whining and complaining so much.

I honestly find myself in awe if you actually believe the nonsense you're spewing.😁 It strikes me as nothing more than the most bottom-tier kind of trolling.
