Edward Howard2 said:Honestly, I’m just not feeling the hype for this year's Super League...

Two guys who actually have the right to compete haven't even stepped onto the field all season.
Then there's a third player who bailed mid-season,
and the next guy on the reserve list doesn't seem interested in playing either.
So when the next dropout happens—and I'm betting we see at least one more before the season wraps up—it'll be the fifth reserve getting a shot. 🤣
We're looking at a record number of unplayed matches and wins by default.
Hardly anyone is even bothering to send in offers on Tuesdays anymore.
They're dragging their feet on purpose when it comes to fixing those key, broken parts of the rulebook.
Practice sessions were already happening in Valencia, yet we still don't even know the standings because they haven't released the total points from Canada.
I could go on and on, but why bother?

When I add it all up... I have to ask myself: is this year's Super League even worth talking about?
Of course... the answer is pretty obvious... 😁

blah, blah, blah 🤣
It would all be sunshine and rainbows if you weren't the one failing to send bids and respond to them☕
Pat isn't playing because he's pissed off over some stupid pet nonsense involving 100-point penalty cards for spamming.🤦
And aside from you two, the only bid/response that actually went through was that Panglossian one—as far as I know, nobody else has sent anything.

As for those two guys on the roster who aren't playing, they literally don't exist on the forum, so I don't see how they'd play if they don't even post here, let alone on F1.

Regarding the standings, I already told you I won't have time to do them since I'm on my PC, and I'm definitely not doing them on my phone—let alone trying to send them via GPRS.😳

The rules were written ages ago, but nobody besides you has even commented on them, so I haven't changed anything. If you actually read them, it's clear the whole point was to have the first "provisional" bids submitted at the start of the season during registration to prevent people from missing deadlines.☕
Introducing those kinds of rules halfway through the season just doesn't make much sense.🤷

William Bennett53 said:I honestly believe the Super League has run its course and should be scrapped.
We have such a limited pool of drivers, yet we’re spread thin across three different series—not to mention the betting markets, though I'm not even sure if they're still active... wouldn't it be more efficient to just stick to the standard tournaments and the Championship? It would certainly help mitigate this constant fragmentation we're seeing.

It would actually make sense to cut the tournament that had fewer participants this season than usual.
But no, let's go after the Championship first, which is basically just a headache and endless arguments every single year anyway.

Scrapping a Super League that supposedly "has zero issues" just doesn't make any sense at all.

There is absolutely no way they’re actually going through with a cancellation ☕

Look, if we’re being honest, they really ought to cut at least one of these series... this whole setup with a mountain of races that nobody actually cares about just doesn't make sense. In my opinion, the Super League should be the first thing on the chopping block because the engagement is nonexistent; having the same eight races following the exact same format all season long is just monotonous. As for the tournaments, I think it would be wise to trim them down—even if it means having gaps in the season where certain races occur while one tournament has wrapped up and the next hasn't started yet. If we limited them to a maximum of five rounds per group, followed immediately by quarterfinals where the top two from each group advance (regardless of whether that means one or three drivers drop out), we might actually see some much-needed momentum.

7. A participant is welcome to submit their offer as soon as the previous race concludes. Technically, the deadline for submissions is Tuesday at midnight during the week leading up to the next race. However, one might wonder if such a strict rule actually matters? There are no penalties for missing this window; any offers sent on Wednesday at 12:01 AM or later will still be reviewed. That said, should a bidder fail to meet the official deadline, their most recent offer previously submitted within the NFL remains the active one, granting their opponent the right to respond to that existing bid.

🤣 🤣 🤣

Lewis Hamilton F1 Car 7 (55:48)
Lewis Hamilton Racing 2 (6:5)
Patagonia 0 (14:84)

Someone check these numbers. I only caught the race on replay around midnight after some heavy takeout and chaos, so I'm not sure if the FIA was pulling any fast ones with the results. 🤷
All I remember clearly is that Maldonado finished 10th. 🤔

Anyway, these results might be off. Not sure if there were any other penalties handed out after the race besides Maldonado's.

And man, my brain is so fried I can barely get this post out. 🙂
I'm just doing all this from memory—can't even deal with opening Formula1.com right now. 🙂

Next round matchups:

Jessica Ramos12 - Lewis Hamilton F1 Car
Lewis Hamilton F1 Car - darkmarlin16
Sebastian Vettel - Lewis Hamilton Racing
ruggedfox28 - MAXYM

The Grand Prix in the United Kingdom will probably be without tables again for the next two races, and results will likely be delayed too.

But by the German Grand Prix, I'll have everything updated with full tables and results.

So, Maldonado ended up getting slapped with a +20 second penalty at the finish, which basically handed an extra point right over to Ayrton Senna on a silver platter.

Are we talking about after the end of races, or during the broadcast, or just some random mid-race update?
I'm pretty sure by the time the race finished and the broadcast wrapped up, Maldonado was sitting at 10th. 🤔
