stormybadger8 said:Why don't you just wrap your head around how the Super League leadership works before you try explaining your little rulebook to me?☕
Maybe I messed up by thinking this was a fresh bid for Bahrain, but it looks to me like any offer submitted late (after the first deadline) that goes unanswered just counts as the bid for the next race.
Sure, you can play smart and claim the rules say a new bid happens "after the race," but I’m pretty sure there have been plenty of times where a bid posted after the first deadline was treated as the bid for the next race simply because nobody responded. There have even been cases where people were told a driver "can't" submit a new bid because the one sitting between the first deadline and qualifying was already considered their official bid for the next round.
I could go digging for proof, but honestly, I can't be bothered.
At the end of the day, none of this matters to you anyway, regardless of who said what or when they said it.
The rulebook has always been flawed and full of loopholes—it’s not like we haven't known that until now.
Every single competition and every season is packed with nonsense because of these "intellectual" types who ensure there's a sea of ambiguity everywhere you look.
And it’s the same old story every season: wondering what on earth Max was thinking when he wrote these rules. Max is nowhere to be found when things actually matter, but he sure shows up right on cue after the fact to lecture everyone with his "wisdom."
Where were you before all this went down? If you’re so convinced Pat should have been disqualified earlier, why didn't you demand it then?🤷
Where were you if consistency is such a big deal and if this whole thing is such a total disaster?
Oh, come on, that’s just your typical BS right there...
You can try to be a smart aleck and claim the rules say a new offer has to be placed "after the race," but I’m pretty sure we've already seen plenty of cases where an offer was submitted after the first deadline and still got counted as the new offer for the next race because it didn't actually respond to the previous one. I've even heard people explaining that a player "isn't allowed" to send a new offer because their submission between the first deadline and qualifying was technically already considered their official move for the upcoming race.
Man, I really should probably get out there and start looking, but honestly? I just can't be bothered. Not today.
At the end of the day, I know none of this actually matters to you, regardless of who says what or when they say it.
Please, don't start making stuff up again... You claim you're pretty sure about this, but there hasn't been a single instance where someone was barred from sending a new offer just because their opponent sat on the last one. It honestly makes zero sense, and trust me, nobody is bored enough to try and sell those excuses to anyone. You’re actually the first one out here trying to push that "explanation." 🤣
Let's be real, the rulebook has always been full of holes and loopholes—it's not like we're just finding that out now.
Every single race and every damn season ends up being filled with a mountain of nonsense, all because of people like this spouting their "wisdom." It just creates a massive sea of ambiguity that makes everything way more confusing than it needs to be.
Look, if you already knew the rulebook was full of holes... why on earth didn't you just patch them up?
So, you basically appointed yourself the referee, drafted all these rules we're supposed to play by, and now you’re out here trying to sell us this total fairy tale—claiming Max is somehow to blame for this year's regulations and why you can't actually stick to the rules you wrote yourself. Give me a break! 😂
Do you even realize how absurd all this rambling of yours actually is? 🤷
It’s the same old story every single season. People start whining about what Max was thinking when he sat down to write the rulebook, and honestly, it’s just more of the same. Max just vanishes right when you actually need him to show up.And there he goes again, popping up with all his "wisdom" after everything that’s happened, acting like some kind of guru at sixteen years old.
So, where am I supposed to fit into this? Am I really expected to be on call 24/7 just to clear up every little doubt you have so the Super League can somehow run smoothly?
I was right here before the season even kicked off, laying out all the details on how the entry list actually ought to look. But then everyone just started sucking up to Max, acting like his take was gospel. It didn't matter that I provided one solid, well-reasoned explanation; people would rather throw a few biased votes at you without having any real substance or logic behind them.
Rules for all competitions get tweaked every season to patch up holes from the previous one. Back in 2010, I was the one patching up the rules from the 2009 season. It’s totally normal because new stuff pops up constantly, and it’s impossible to cover everything at once and expect a single rulebook to stay untouched for years. This year, you were the one in charge of fixing the gaps from last year's Super League, and honestly, you proposed those updated rules yourself—which means you changed what you felt needed changing. Your issue, though, is that you spent way too much energy on things that didn't need touching (like the entry list) instead of worrying about the actual items that could cause a massive dispute. So, by trashing this year's rulebook, you're really just trashing your own work, not mine.
And what "wisdom" am I talking about? Don't the racers have a right to know if the Super League isn't running smoothly? Am I supposed to just shut up whenever I spot one of your mistakes?
Where were you before all this? If you're so sure Pat should've been disqualified earlier, why didn't you ask for it then? 🤷
Where were you if being "regular" is such a big deal and if this whole thing is such a total disaster?
Look, am I the organizer or are you? Did I ask anyone back in 2010 to help me run the Super League or point out flaws? I wouldn't have even stepped up if that meant I had to, because that would mean I wasn't capable of running a race with 8 participants. Not gonna lie, nobody helped me run the Super League; there were just people making my life harder.
And why on earth would I need to ask for Pat to be disqualified when the rules already cover it and all that's needed is an organizer to actually enforce them?
So what do you want from me? You've been slamming me for two years straight, and now you want me to give you a heads-up on your own screw-ups so they don't turn into a catastrophe?
Nobody asked you, called you, or suggested you take over as the Super League organizer. You've been pushing yourself into that position since last year. Why push for it if you can't handle the job and need Max to fix everything for you?
Do I need to tell you that you should've already called up the next reserve to replace Pangloss, who's subject to disqualification? Or was that something you, as the organizer, should have handled? Running this isn't just adding up scores and making fancy spreadsheets; you have to watch every little detail, and not everyone is cut out for it. From what I can see here, you aren't cut out to run the Super League.
Basically, Pangloss's this post (posted on 05/12/2013 at 13:45) was his last post in this thread. That was his response to the VN Germany update, which automatically means Pangloss failed to send an offer/response for the next three races (Monaco, Canada, Europe). According to the rules, he's been subject to disqualification since 06/24/2012 after Valencia ended. Yet, a day later, the organizer is posting the pairings for the next race. 🙏

Someone check these numbers. I only caught the race on replay around midnight after some heavy takeout and chaos, so I'm not sure if the FIA was pulling any fast ones with the results. 🤷
All I remember clearly is that Maldonado finished 10th. 🤔
Anyway, these results might be off. Not sure if there were any other penalties handed out after the race besides Maldonado's.
And man, my brain is so fried I can barely get this post out. 🙂
I'm just doing all this from memory—can't even deal with opening Formula1.com right now. 🙂
Next round matchups:
Jessica Ramos12 - Lewis Hamilton F1 Car
Lewis Hamilton F1 Car - darkmarlin16
Sebastian Vettel - Lewis Hamilton Racing
ruggedfox28 - MAXYM
The Grand Prix in the United Kingdom will probably be without tables again for the next two races, and results will likely be delayed too.
But by the German Grand Prix, I'll have everything updated with full tables and results.
So, why on earth is Pangloss in this pairing you put together?
Does this mean we're gonna be stuck waiting another two races for you to actually follow through on the rules, just like what happened with Pat?
Or do you have some special logic for why Pangloss is competing at Silverstone?
Just a heads-up: that excuse where his last offer counts as a fresh one for the next round isn't gonna fly here. He already got an answer to that offer back in Bahrain, so you’re gonna need a whole new explanation for this latest slip-up... 😂
I mean, seriously... the deadline for offers has totally passed, people are already busy responding to bids, and Rosiyev doesn't even know who he's up against yet?? Is he playing against Frontier, Matthew Young35, Kimi..? Or is it Pangloss, whom the commissioner assigned to him? 😁
