Is this somehow identical to the offer I made previously, or what?
Alright, fine, let's call it almost identical!

I honestly have even less of a clue what you're trying to pull here... 😂
It feels like everyone else can somehow track down their opponent's final bid, yet somehow, I’m the only one left completely in the dark... 🤷

Hell yeah,🤣 actually even worse than that.😁

I truly am sorry...

I wasn't pushing anyone, and I asked several times if someone wanted to step up as host—that request is still sitting right there on the first page of this thread, but clearly, you missed it.
I’m still constantly swapping out Rosiyev, so this attack from you is definitely neither fair nor okay.
If you had stepped up at any point to host the Super League or any other competition last year or this season, I would have gladly handed the reins to you.☕
In fact, I asked you to do it last year, both publicly and via PM, and as far as I'm concerned, the offer still stands.

It's funny how you somehow managed to miss my post from June 11, 2012.
Funny how you didn't volunteer to replace me even though I specifically asked for someone to take over because I barely have the time or energy (I can hardly even get onto the forum) to handle anything regarding the Super League until the VN Germany.

Of course, you don't notice that and you "don't have the time," but you always seem to find the time to jump down a host's throat and praise yourself. Seriously, let go of those old grievances and stop whining about everyone.
Better to focus on making sure these competitions actually run properly instead of just spitting on the hosts.

You could have said this about Pangloss much earlier instead of waiting until the eleventh hour.
If any host screws something up (and in this case, with Pangloss, I obviously screwed up big time), it would be better to own up to it immediately so it can be fixed, rather than waiting until the last second or letting things get worse just so you can trash them and make yourself look like a hero.

Yeah, you're right... You told everyone to jump in and get involved, and then wouldn't you know it, the very next day you're already posting about the championship again:
stormybadger8 said:Since I'm planning on running the Reddit F1 Super League, and I've already got a bunch of other stuff on my plate, I honestly just don't have the bandwidth to deal with this right now.

Do you seriously think anyone is actually going to step up to be the host after you immediately announced that you’re planning on running the super league yourself? What was the plan there? Did you honestly think people were going to be fighting you for the job?
You said you were planning on running the super league, but let’s be real—everyone saw that coming. There was absolutely no point in anyone else even applying for the moderator spot when you were already basically forcing your way into the position...

Honestly, if you had stepped up to run the super league or any other competition last year or even this season, I would've handed the keys over to you in a heartbeat. No questions asked.☕
Look, I basically asked you this last year—whether we should take this public or just handle it through PM. Either way, the offer still stands as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, please... is this really happening? Is this just like when that guy Pilatus showed up to the championship...?
So, I put out the call for anyone interested in taking over as host, right? And wouldn't you know it—exactly one person shows up to claim the job: Pilatus. Just one. Since I really wasn't feeling that solo act, I ended up giving a certain guy from Paški a ring just to keep things interesting. So, yeah, I basically hand-picked him myself just so we wouldn't be stuck with only Pilatus. Oops!
It’s pretty obvious why Pilatus wasn't cutting it—it was because he clearly doesn't have a clue how the points system works. But hey, that's on you for putting a record-breaker in the leader's seat in the first place. It was exactly 10:46 PM...., who had already proven himself to be completely unacceptable for a ton of different reasons. 🙏Man, that guy's eye was definitely looking more like a Pilatus than anything else.

The truth is, you’re sitting at the top of the standings for one race, but the other two? Those spots belong to the guys you hand-picked just because they fit your vibe.
Let's be real—across all three series, we just don't have top-tier leadership. We're stuck with the same mediocre management everywhere, and honestly, that’s exactly why this whole season feels like such a chaotic mess.
The Reddit F1 Super League 2012 under your leadership is a total mess. Honestly, the whole system is on the verge of collapsing. We had three guys with entry rights who wouldn't even show up to play, and then two more just quit entirely. We're only eight rounds in and we're already looking at our fifth reserve player. It’s getting pretty sketchy—I'm genuinely starting to wonder if we'll even have enough players left to finish the season.
This whole championship is basically just people getting choked out by anyone who dares to disagree. They’re handing out a record number of penalties and threats left and right. It feels like there's a constant drain of active competitors too.
I've actually saved this tournament twice already because > doesn't know the rulebook, but in this third instance, he might just be beyond saving if you keep trying to make him "irregular" under your watch.

It’s pretty funny how you completely missed my post from June 11th, 2012.
Funny how you didn't bother stepping up to take over for me either, even though I specifically asked for someone to step in since I honestly don't have the time or the bandwidth—I can barely even get this forum to load—to deal with anything regarding the super league until VN Germany is over.

Did I ever sign up to be your backup?
Sure, you "don't see it" and "don't have time," but you always seem to find the time to jump down a moderator's throat or brag about yourself. Seriously, move on from the past and stop nitpicking everyone.

Who's talking about whom... TBF about the good old days... 😂
Man, you really jump at any chance to claim my rules are stupid just because I wrote them two or three years ago, and then act like it's my fault we're still playing by them today.🤦

I have no idea why you're pivoting away from the topic to bring up other mods and me, when we're clearly talking about your massive blunders in the super league...
But hey, since you want to drag other moderators into this... I already mentioned something about them earlier in this thread...
Is calling out your mistakes in the super league really "jumping down" on people?
Is telling > what I think of his actions after he asked for our input on his leadership really "jumping down"?
And is correcting > several times to make sure the tournament stays legitimate really "jumping down" on a mod?
Please, give me something concrete. What exactly do you consider me "jumping down" or "nitpicking" about?
It's way too easy to throw out vague accusations that I'm just picking on mods, just so you can distract from the actual problems happening in the competitions... 🙏
Maybe focus on making the competitions actually work instead of just trash-talking the organizers.

Should *I* be focusing on the competition or should the organizer?
But alright... let me give you an example from the tournament... I'm the one who wrote these rules, and I'm trying my best to explain them to both you and >, but for some reason, neither of you wants to hear explanations from the guy who actually authored the rules... You'd rather see > in the finals. So, did you decide > is more qualified for the finals than >? Well, if we have a shot at pushing > through, why not take it? And we can easily hand > a penalty if he starts complaining about the decision... total TBF modus operandi right there.🙏
You could have brought up the thing with Pangloss much earlier instead of waiting until the last minute like this.
If any moderator screws up (and in this case, I clearly screwed up big time with Pangloss), it would be better to address it immediately so it can be fixed, rather than waiting until the eleventh hour or letting things get worse just so you can talk trash and stroke your own ego.

So, here’s my official announcement regarding how the organizers handled things at the tournament. Ever since I signed up for this forum yesterday, I’ve been getting absolutely trashed just because I had the nerve to point out a mistake made by the untouchable ruggedfox28... And what do I get? Total approval from the admins and mods for breaking the rules. Or wait, is it not considered a violation when it involves ruggedfox28? Is he allowed to break the rules whenever he wants? You were defending him just as passionately back in the 2010 season when he was breaking them too... and then William Bennett53 actually writes to him an hour before the race starts telling him to fix his entry... 🤦 There's honestly nothing else to say about that...
This will probably be the last time I call out an organizer's mistake in real-time... Honestly, I can't even find the energy to try and explain myself when it's clear that decisions are based on who the admins and mods happen to like more...

p.s. As for those mistakes of yours... I still have one more ace up my sleeve 😁
p.p.s. I'm still waiting for you to actually implement that rule proposal of yours, so we can at least fix the entry list and hopefully improve the terrible overall vibe surrounding this year's super league.
