Since we're already talking about people reminiscing about how things were ten years ago...🙄

- Ten years ago, when the Los Angeles Lakers players stepped onto the field, you’d be damn near shaking for ten minutes straight... just pure nerves.
- Ten years ago, our guys would rack up 35 fouls while they only hit five, plus there was always that one inevitable collision where everyone would pile in. Back then, you’d watch Malacia and Cap just trading blows with each other while watching our team lose, all while the Lakers players just casually strolled around.
- Ten years ago, everyone blamed the city elites and Washington, D.C. for every single problem. Today, both we and the city folks share the same enemy. Maybe we should have spent more time chanting against Satan instead of that one time the whole stadium went silent.

That was easily the worst derby the Kansas City Chiefs have ever played, so I guess the atmosphere couldn't have been much better. Personally, that last round against the Cleveland Browns is the match I'll remember most for all the wrong reasons. And the worst part? This constant whining just keeps going.

My brief take is that we moved on from the truce far too quickly; that whole "higher purpose" she was clinging to was nothing more than cheap demagoguery, honestly reminiscent of the old-school political maneuvering you see from the Democrats or Republicans. I wonder if anyone actually grasps the current situation—would anyone even bother showing up to a massive rivalry game if the opposing side didn't have their hardcore ultras there to face off against us?

Times change, and frankly, if people want to fight over some patch of grass, they can go negotiate it themselves; whether you're from the big cities or the small towns, we're all stuck in the same mess. We don't necessarily have to love one another, but respect is mandatory, as is patriotism and a sense of higher purpose. It seems like Jerry Jones and the media have completely backed him into a corner, and now we’re finally seeing an alternative emerge.

Regarding the atmosphere in the stands, our energy has always been tied directly to how the Kansas City Chiefs perform on the field. But why shouldn't we find ways to elevate the experience regardless? I’ve seen people post asking how they're supposed to cheer when the Chiefs can't even complete a basic pass in the center of the field. Well, they've played this way for a long time, so what's the move—do we just quit and stay home? Or do we lean into the defiance, put on a hell of a show, and cheer because of the pride we take in this team? To pull that off, we need a bit of creativity in the stands to keep the crowd in the north section engaged, especially since those derby games draw such huge numbers. The guys who live and breathe this stuff know how to orchestrate it; they just need to embrace a new way of thinking. Like I said, times are changing, and we have to evolve along with them.

wiredtrucker20 said:People are fed up with a powerless Kansas City Chiefs! Nine years. Nine whole years without a title. Look, being a fan—being loyal and loving your club—isn't about giving 100% every single day, year after year, only to have them give you absolutely nothing back. Just zero. No hope. Just give me one tiny reason to actually be proud of this squad, their style, or the players. But no. Every single year it's just endless talk and dropped points in Columbus, San Francisco, Indianapolis, Des Moines, and Miami. And then, suddenly, it's always the refs' fault or Jerry Jones. They say Diego Simeone is a top-tier coach and the Chiefs play like the Dallas Cowboys, but they conveniently forget how California and Indianapolis just walk all over us. Or how we get humbled by the Los Angeles Lakers when we travel to their stadium. We cross the halfway line a few times, maybe, or occasionally get blown out by five goals.

So now, before the big derby, people are expected to just leave their brains at home and pretend that beating the Lakers will somehow feel like a victory. As if being seven games behind in the standings actually matters. What do you expect? For fans to fall into some religious trance because, for the ninth straight year in a league with three decent teams and seven semi-pro outfits, we're stuck in second or third place?

There’s no atmosphere because the Kansas City Chiefs are on life support. And a huge chunk of the fanbase feels like they're on life support too. It's a slow death, fueled by every loss to a team like The Beatles and every slap in the face from General Electric or California, and every derby where we're down by ten.

But sure, keep blaming the referees and Jerry Jones as the primary reasons why the energy is dead....

Give me a break. Personally, this has been my favorite season since I started going to games—not counting those times when nobody can even understand what anyone is saying.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! These aren't even the same letters anymore. This whole "speeding up" nonsense has been going on for decades. Is 😁
really the reason behind this? Can things even get any faster than this?! I know we've streamlined everything, but I didn't think it would get this bad. How do we even go back to how things used to be?

Daniel Johnson46 said:If people actually took a second to think and talk to one another, they’d realize everyone is fed up with the corruption. Who wants to bother cheering when another penalty is gifted by the refs? It's all decided by officials, not on the field. No matter how hard we push at the stadium or in the stands, what's the point? People are losing interest in this league. It’s pretty obvious they just don't have the will to cheer anymore. It hit the East Coast and the whole vibe along with it. I’m disappointed because I honestly thought this kind of theft would spark that championship-level energy we've seen before, but clearly, it had the opposite effect. Why does it always work like that? Look, we're only human; I don't think we need to get hung up on the megaphones or any of that noise right now. That isn't even the real issue.

It’s not that people are stupid. ☕

It isn't that people lose interest in cheering because of some minor disappointment. When you feel like you're being constantly robbed and played for a fool, it’s only natural to grow resentful.

There was zero fight on the pitch, honestly. We just sat there waiting for the Kansas City Chiefs to put some pressure on, maybe grab a couple of corner kicks, but we didn't have anything to show for ourselves the entire game.

I’d much rather take a 3-0 beating after an hour of playing than endure what happened this Saturday. At least if you're down 1-0, you still have hope, whereas here, our guys couldn't even manage a simple cross.

And I really don't get why people were clapping and greeting the players after the performance on Saturday. Look, you don't have to trash them, but you shouldn't be applauding them either.

The choreography was alright, I guess.

I swear, I tell myself a thousand times I’m done posting here, and then I always end up getting sucked back in.
Take things back ten or twelve years, for example. Back then, we used to move fast with letters and messages. You’d see it at smaller games where people wouldn't even bother cheering during the second half. I remember times when we’d travel to places like Des Moines, and you’d see maybe five guys from Miami there, if you don't count the few security guards on duty. And man, the absolute madness—the pure ecstasy and wild energy of those away trips—was something else. There were always good days and bad days, and there always will be. That’s why I think there's no point in dissecting every single derby, nitpicking every little detail to find some deep-seated cause or diagnosis. Especially not on internet forums. Honestly, I could sit here and list a hundred different things about being in the stands that drive me absolutely insane and leave me feeling totally aggressive. But this isn't the place to vent all that while hiding behind a screen. When you actually have to look someone in the eye and say what's on your mind, you realize one of three things: either you don't have the guts to say it, you realize you're just judging others for things you'd do yourself, or you finally accept that you aren't nearly as important to the whole situation as you thought you were.

There’s this crowd of hooligans and lowlifes in the stands—that's how they label us—and honestly, they aren't even that far off the mark. Most of us are just exceptions to the rule...
Stupid. Just plain stupid fans.
Man, I just got blindsided by it all. I'm totally disillusioned with everything, from the government down to our own people.🤷

Gary Green32 said:My quick take? We called the truce way too early... that whole "higher purpose" thing was absolute bullshit . It just felt like cheap political theater, honestly, just more of the same old Republican vs. Democrat nonsense. Does anyone actually get what’s going on here? Who would even bother showing up to a derby if the BBB wasn't there on the other side?

Times change, I guess... if people want to fight, let them settle their own damn business in some field somewhere. The East Coast elites and us—we're all stuck in the same mess. We don't have to love each other, but respect? Patriotism? There has to be some higher goal... but the media has absolutely squeezed Mommy dry, and now we're seeing what an alternative looks like.
.

Exactly! I don't give a damn whether it's public or not—breaking this truce is the biggest self-inflicted wound we could have dealt ourselves as a group. It's incredibly counterproductive. We know exactly where the enemy is and who the real threat is... that's what we should be dealing with, not wasting energy on rival factions. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to fix this before we all finish sabotaging ourselves with our own stupidity.

Later!

Intransigente said:It seems like you lot completely missed the memo on how to actually insult someone—unless, of course, you’re just retaliating because "they started it." 🤷

The reality is that there's a huge crowd of people who "discovered the world of NFL Ultras two seasons ago" and decided their sole purpose for showing up to the stadium was to hurl insults at anyone from the city—basically treating them like cattle—but wasn't it exactly the same way for your side back when you guys were actually filling the stands? 🤷

I mean, what exactly is a guy from Miami supposed to do—cheer for the Los Angeles Lakers, the University of Michigan, the Chicago Bulls, or maybe even Real Madrid? 🤷 🤷 🤷

What an incredibly dense and misguided post. 🙄

Rivalries are necessary, sure, but now isn't the time for this—it's like giving yourself a massive self-inflicted wound right after preaching about unity in Switzerland.

Justification for what? Seriously? The second the cheering sounds even slightly off, these self-appointed moral police swoop in to lecture us. Look at the numbers—both at home and on the road. We’re an independent group, no agencies involved, just the kind of Liverpool FC faithful people have been dreaming about for decades. What more do you want? Sure, can we improve? Of course. Where are these "perfect" groups hiding then? Maybe we should look in the mirror first, because every other group out there is miles behind where we are, no matter how much they try to convince themselves otherwise.
And these loudmouths... honestly, they don't even realize whose club they're actually supporting. They start talking about "agencies" and "influence," yet their away following is barely better than some third-tier college squad, and they still have the nerve to act like experts.
The Blue Crew is in the same boat; they have plenty of their own issues to deal with, from agency interference to internal splits, but they fight to keep things legitimate. No one can deny how grueling their struggle is or how clear their goal remains.
What really burns me up is seeing people try to tear down everything we've built over the years with such empty, hollow criticisms. You see 25,000 fans showing up to a freezing cold stadium in the middle of nowhere? That's what happens when it's pure passion—no big money, no manufactured atmosphere, and no puppet leaders.
