It changed because suddenly everyone in the city wants to be part of the NFL Ultras because of all the good stuff they do. As for how you carry yourself within the group—well, that's a whole different conversation. Honestly, the best thing right now would be if everything just turned back into some big festival or a neighborhood block party where people just celebrate, and everything gets ruined again for anyone who doesn't want to "travel everywhere blindly" just for the sake of it. That's not the vibe. Love isn't just about throwing a party; those are just mindless antics. If I went into the details of why that would open a massive Pandora's box, I won't... but honestly, there's a much bigger sense of joy right now in how people are showing love in every single neighborhood and corner of the city. Considering most of these folks are in their mid-20s to 30s, I have to wonder: where were they all when they were toddlers? I get the 18 or 19-year-olds—they just got swept up in it. But people in their late 20s? Where were they back when we only had 50 people traveling to away games, or when the North Stand averaged 500 people? We used to hit 1,000 and it was absolute madness! And that wasn't even that long ago, and everyone was old enough to fall in love with Liverpool FC back then. Did the love just die because there were only 50 of us enjoying the atmosphere back then?
The idea that Liverpool FC is the foundation of everything and comes before the NFL Ultras has never been in question... but man, the guy just phrased it poorly. He’ll realize certain things as he gets older, but his intentions aren't bad at all😉, that's what I truly believe...
I agree with everything you wrote. God forbid we go back to the era of hooligans and clowns like that😉
We're really going to dwell on him just being bad with his words?😁
