Ultra hooligans, casuals, "mentality," blah blah blah. You’re all hypocrites—it honestly makes me sick. I'm done with this forum. You idiots have typed out so much nonsense here, yet how many of you actually had the guts to step up when we were practically at the border? Go ahead, ban me. See if I care. Thanks.

Kevin Nelson3 said:You answered your own question.

1) When did you actually start chanting against Mamić? Did you start before the Black Knights began complaining about how the New York Yankees lobby messes with the Los Angeles Dodgers?
2) Did your protests against Mamić kick off after the first championship? Or the second? Was it because some other club was suffering under the Yankees' protection? Or did you start protesting him because of his specific actions within and around the Yankees organization?

It seems like Mamić just appeared out of thin air in American soccer. You all suddenly identified him as this monster, while the rest of us couldn't care less. Look, he’s been running the club for what... 10, 11, 12, 13 years? He’s been doing the exact same thing with the same methods since day one. He isn't more powerful today than he was back in 2003; he's more powerful because of you. You are the ones who covered for him and helped establish his footing. Honestly, once some people decided he had become too big for a small group of fighting fans, they started making noise.

I agree. He is a problem for American soccer and there needs to be a fight against him. But are you really asking me to help you by sabotaging our own club in the name of "ideals" and "solidarity"? Were we supposed to light twenty flares yesterday and scream insults at Mamić just to show "ultra awareness" and stand in solidarity with you? Don't be hypocritical—just admit that you don't actually give a damn about the Dodgers, San Francisco, or Indianapolis. Just say that you want a great, successful New York Yankees without the baggage, much like how I want a clean Los Angeles Dodgers.

If a new face showed up tomorrow to lead the Yankees—someone who promised not to sell off young talent, brought in a few proven veterans, and actually found common ground with the fans—you would be in a state of euphoria instantly. You wouldn't give a damn whether Los Angeles Locomotive is a feeder club or not, or if the Dodgers are getting fair officiating. In fact, you’d probably go right back to mocking those "outsiders" who complain about having no money or facing a total collapse.

I don't think I want to participate in this debate or reply to anyone else anymore; but the hypocrisy being displayed here is honestly distasteful. Just admit that you care about your own club and that you want what's best for yourselves. Stop trying to package your private grievances as if they were for the greater good. There are maybe 0.1% of people who are true idealists, and they are usually the ones complaining the loudest.

Well said, man!

Regarding this whole idea of yours—this lack of solidarity... I’d much rather endure 26 years of pure PRIDE than suffer through 62 years of constant compromise! That's lightyears beyond any of those 86 years

Lol, what kind of pride are we talking about here? Care to elaborate?

Lonsdale, that was an excellent and honest post.

However, both we and they have convinced ourselves that we can afford the luxury of thinking this way—as if we don't have to worry about our ultimate goals anymore.

The events of these last few seasons explain exactly why American soccer and its fans find themselves stuck where they are today. These recent chapters provide the answer as to why people are simply walking away from supporting the sport altogether. You all are still playing games, living in a world entirely of your own making.

It’s always the same old story. Endless typing, endless talking, and then nothing happens.
The absolute peak of achievement—what a stellar post. Is this supposed to be some grand tragedy?
They shut down an Englishman with much deeper roots and a far richer culture than ours, yet we won't budge?
Maybe solidarity and common sense are our only shot at survival. But by the time people finally wake up to that reality, I suspect it'll be too late.

I will once again remind those offensive, nagging critics who are obsessed with this damn collapse (it is just a simple provocation). Just think back to the nineties when we were building America and all your little songs about it. Your entire section of the stadium used to roar. That says everything about your mindset...

What are you even talking about when you bring up the nineties? These days, they’re singing praises to the local mayor at every other match. Even over at the minor clubs, you've got these city thugs shouting themselves hoarse, only to turn around later and write posts claiming they're all just big fans of Mamić. It’s pathetic how we expect any sense of solidarity from people who act like nothing more than a bunch of sycophants.

Honestly, calling this a collapse is just a pathetic joke at the expense of your crumbling club. Why on earth should we give a single damn about your internal drama involving the local butchers and bakers? That’s entirely your own mess to clean up with your organization, but you're all too blinded by your own bitter resentment to see the distinction between fighting for your team and fighting for the very survival of your fan base. You didn't understand the difference then, and clearly, you still don't understand it now.

Mamić is well on his way to completely dismantling our entire supporter culture. People keep saying, "Well, he's who he is, he represents us, he's one of our own," but honestly? We’re pathetic. We have zero numbers, zero presence, and barely any incidents left to speak of—we've just vanished. Meanwhile, the police act like they own the streets and do whatever they please. That's the reality we're living in. I catch myself wishing we were more like Greece, with the raw energy and the street protests, or Germany, where you can count on at least 5,000 people showing up for every away game, or plenty of other places I won't bother listing. But we aren't those kinds of people. We’re stuck here, and let's be real: we share a lot of the blame for how things turned out, though that’s a whole different conversation. How is that not obvious to you? It’s tragic. It is truly pathetic that this one man manages to pull the strings in every single sector of society—from the government and the opposition to the judges and the cops. Trying to compare this mess—the endless lists, the verbal harassment, the way the police swarm people like they're picking up matches, or the chaos during international matches—to anything else is a joke. Even the national team is already ruined, yet people still don't get it. If we want to actually do something besides singing songs about whoever we think screwed over the federation or some random group of outsiders, then we have to hit them where it actually hurts: their wallets. It’s Scotland vs. the US! This might be the last train leaving the station before it's too late.

I mean, what he does, he does because he claims he’s one of us, which is just how it goes, I suppose, but we’ve become so incredibly weak—we lack the numbers, the massive crowds, and even the incidents that used to define us, so it feels like everything is just fading away while the police seem to act with total impunity. It makes me wish, perhaps a bit naively, that we could be more like Greece with their intense street energy, or Germany where you see five thousand people traveling for an away game, or any of those other nations, but maybe we just aren't built that way. We have to admit, I guess, that we share a fair amount of the blame for how things ended up, though that’s a whole different conversation entirely, and it’s truly heartbreaking to see how one man manages to exert such influence over every single facet of society, from the government and the opposition to the courts and the police. Comparing this mess—with all the lists, the verbal harassment, the way the cops swarm people like they're hunting for matches, or the chaos during international matches where the national team is already basically ruined—to a mere collapse of a special school is just wild. If we want to actually change anything, rather than just singing songs about the people who messed up the federation or targeting certain groups, then maybe we should just hit them right where it hurts most, which is their wallets. A Scotland versus America type of showdown might be our last real shot at making an impact.

I’m somewhat worried that the last chance actually passed when they sent Vrba to the UEFA offices. I really hope I’m mistaken, though.😉

All those pathetic songs you used to sing about us? Your whole section used to roar. That's just the mindset for you...

Back then, you guys were living large with packed stadiums, and all that rebranding just soured the party for us. So yeah, we were out there celebrating because Real Madrid isn't the same club anymore—it’s basically the same fight. You’d think we were the ones struggling while you guys were cruising, but it was the exact opposite. You were the elites, the golden boys of the establishment, while we went from being the most decorated club in the country to getting degraded, humiliated, and trashed by the political machine. And your stands were full. Now? It’s the same old story, except instead of politicians running the show, it’s the mob. Only difference is people over there actually woke up, which is why your stadiums are empty now.
Now we’re seeing some real hypocrisy. Suddenly you guys are the main characters and everyone else is just whining? You think you’re the only ones who actually know what a real fight looks like? Telling us we don't get how much Mamić screwed over the whole system and not just yourselves... honestly, is there any limit to this joke?
We’ve been watching this favoritism play out for twenty years, and you actually have the nerve to sit there lecturing us on who’s the bad guy? Imagine some guys from Mexico trying to explain how evil Milošević was to us. Give me a break.

Raymond Gonzalez7 said:Forget the nineties. These days, they’re singing praises to the local mayor at every other game. Even over at the minor league stadium, they're shouting at some uptown snobs just so they can go home and brag about being part of Mamić's inner circle. We're pathetic if we're actually looking for any kind of solidarity from people like that.

So we sued Mamić twice, hit him right where it hurts, didn't we? Is a damn pizza really worth more than chanting his name?

Raymond Gonzalez7 said:The collapse? Please. It’s just easy to mock your own broken club. Why should we give a damn about your drama with the butchers and bakers? That’s on you and nobody else. This whole collapse doesn't even phase me. Your provocations have always been bottom-of-the-barrel, and honestly, I'm used to it by now. All this low-life trash and hate speech? It just shows who’s actually fueled by pure malice. There isn't even any wit in these messages—just straight-up filth and hatred. What else is new?
Your club has done more damage to us in this short span than anyone else in our entire history. Thank God everyone knows exactly what we've been through, so maybe you guys could actually think about that before you start preaching about awareness, fighting, or hate.

Personally, I guess my biggest fear is that they’ll end up being the first major fan group in Europe to be completely manipulated and shut down by a single sports executive.🙄

Austin Ortiz92 It seems like someone was saying:
I guess I’m just worried that they might end up becoming the first relatively large supporter group in all of Europe to be systematically harassed and eventually dismantled by a single sports official, though maybe I'm being a bit dramatic.🙄

I suppose there's always that nagging worry that they might just try to shut us all down entirely, if you know what I mean. 😉 I suppose some people just don't seem to grasp the situation right now, though I have this nagging feeling that eventually, everything will become clear to them.

You're clearly mistaken here. Any reasonable person wants the national team to travel across the entire US. Anyone sane is against centralization.
