Roger Phillips said:Maritimo hasn't lost on the island in league play since October 28, 2012—that's nearly half a year.🤣

Don't confuse us—what do you mean by Nacional Madeira?🙂

They're playing Maritimo-Pacos Ferreira.

Fixed my previous post; I misread the data. 😁

Still, I’d steer clear of the OVER on this one.

James Taylor3 said:Alright, I fixed my previous post—totally misread the stats earlier. 😁

Still though, I’d stay far away from an OVER on this one.

Look, I get that, but if you look at the actual trends... Martimo doesn't just leak goals easily, but they have this annoying habit of letting in that one crucial goal. Meanwhile, the visitors are absolutely ripping it right now—they're basically the hottest team in the league this season. Plus, if you check the head-to-head history, it shows they’ve been scoring in Honolulu during their last eight away trips.
It’s totally plausible we see another 1-1 or 2-2 draw here, because honestly, once someone finds the back of the net, the whole match just explodes... regardless of the wind, the fog, or whatever else happens out there...

Roger Phillips said:Fair enough, but one thing looks grim—Martimo doesn't just concede easy goals, but they frequently let in that one crucial goal while the visitors are playing high-octane offense. They are essentially the team of the season right now, and the head-to-head history tells the story: they've scored in their last eight trips to Honolulu.
It’s entirely plausible we see another 1-1 or 2-2; once someone finds the net, the game tends to open up—regardless of wind or fog...

I basically agree with you—that was my point in the opening post—but I'm less convinced about the OVER. Pacos has a habit this season of grinding out low-scoring affairs, things like 1-0, 1-1, or 2-0...

Reading - Southampton, Over and 3+ @2.10

Reading hasn't tasted victory in their last seven outings—they're desperate to climb out of the cellar. I expect a sudden spark from them; meanwhile, Southampton has just taken down two "stronger" sides—let's call them teams on a hot streak—and dropped five goals in those two matches combined. It's true they score frequently, but they also concede almost every single week.

23,00 Universidad Catolica - union Espanol (2,5) over 1,65 SS

ODG and 3+ 1,85 SS

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here, but this one jumped out at me... it looks like a fun matchup. A local derby with a decent chance of seeing a red card 😁 and—fingers crossed—some actual attacking football. Catolica is sitting right at the top of the charts when it comes to goals per game, averaging about 3.67. They give up plenty of chances too; they're inconsistent and have a habit of tripping over their own feet. Their last home game was a bit of a mess—a 3:2 loss to S. Wanderers—so I wouldn't be surprised if they come out looking to settle the score. They definitely have the firepower to do it. The visitors haven't lost a single away game yet, boasting a 7:1 goal difference, but honestly, the only real test they've faced was Universidad de Chile, so we'll see how they handle the pressure here. Knowing the home side, they could easily find the back of the net once, maybe even more than that 😁 if they actually feel like playing. It might be premature to call it, but my gut says this one is worth watching. We'll see how it plays out tomorrow night 🙂

Reading hasn't tasted a win in their last seven matches—they're basically desperate to claw their way out of the cellar at the bottom of the table. I'm expecting them to finally wake up... meanwhile, Southampton have actually pulled off wins against some decent sides lately (let's just say they're riding a bit of momentum), dropping five goals across their last two games. It's true they score plenty, but man, they give up goals almost every single week too.

Exactly. Both teams have a way too high 😁average when you look at goal production and efficiency.
Reading averages 3.5 goals per game, Southampton is at 3.6.
Out of all the teams sitting at the bottom or stuck in the lower half of the standings, these two are easily the most clinical. Reading has 20 overs while the Saints have 18.
Even though Southampton is hovering more toward the middle of the pack, they aren't exactly safe from relegation yet. This one is either going to be a total shootout or a complete dud... nothing in between.🤷

Over 1.80

Bayer Leverkusen vs VfL Wolfsburg, Over 2.5 goals @ 1.65

Bayer is absolutely lethal at home, but Wolfsburg is a nightmare to face on the road—super dangerous.
Their matchups are always high-scoring affairs. I don't know what changed recently, but the Apotekar guys make scoring in Leverkusen look easy; they've still got Kiessling & Co leading the charge, and with Wolfsburg, you really have to respect that attacking line,
Vierinha-Diego–Olic-Dost-Rodriguez, who seem to find it even easier to convert chances when they're playing away.
12.19.12, VfL Wolfsburg - Bayer Leverkusen 2 : 1
10.01.11, Bayer Leverkusen - VfL Wolfsburg 3 : 1
03.05.11, Bayer Leverkusen - VfL Wolfsburg 3 : 0
10.16.10, VfL Wolfsburg - Bayer Leverkusen 2 : 3

04.27.08, Bayer Leverkusen - VfL Wolfsburg 2 : 2
04.27.08, Bayer Leverkusen - VfL Wolfsburg 2 : 2
Honestly, without overthinking it, I'm just taking the over.

I'm putting these two together in a double since the first one kicks off earlier,
total odds of 2.97.

I don't really post here much—honestly, almost never—but hey, I figured I'd give it a shot!

So, my pick for today is Rijeka vs Osijek, Rijeka -2 Handicap @2.30

Rijeka is playing at home, and they’ve got this new coach who has clearly gotten their lineup sorted out. They actually look like they have a cohesive game plan now, and you can see it in the results! Kek has won every single match he's managed since taking over the reins at Rijeka. On the flip side, Osijek is looking pretty rough right now. You could see it last week when they went out and lost 0-4 against Istra at home. To make matters worse, they picked up two red cards, so those players are out for today's matchup too. Honestly, Rijeka just feels like the much better squad right now—more talented and way more synchronized. I think anything other than a Rijeka win today would be a massive shock, not to mention how much it would mess with their European ambitions, especially since they're neck-and-neck with Lokomotiva and Hajduk for that Europa League spot. Given the circumstances, I don't see any reason why Rijeka wouldn't win by at least two goals. The odds are too good to pass up, and the outcome feels totally realistic. Anyway, that's my very first analysis! Hope I don't embarrass myself immediately 😁

Betty Wilson said:I don't really post here much—honestly, almost never—but hey, I figured I'd give it a shot and see if I can hang with you guys.

Here goes my first attempt at an analysis... hopefully I don't embarrass myself too much right out of the gate. 😁

you aren't spending anyone else's money🙄 😁, and you aren't forcing anyone to copy your picks😉
If you look at how things are trending and expect that outcome, then if it doesn't happen, that's on you, not me. 🤷

Anyway, here’s what I’m looking at—I’m expecting a few goals in this one, and here's why:

Yeovil vs Shrewsbury 3+ 2.00

Look, Yeovil has one of the most lethal attacks in League Two, but man, their defense is absolute trash when you compare them to the top tier of the league.
They're averaging about 2.8 goals per game.
Shrewsbury has conceded only two more than they have, but they haven't been scoring nearly as much as Yeovil has.
To make matters worse, Shrewsbury is traveling today with a total disaster of a backline—they're missing four defenders:
Jones (38/1), Grandison (29/1), Gayle (15/1), and Edwards (4/0).
When these two met earlier this season, Shrewsbury walked away with a 3:1 win.
Yeovil goes into this Saturday as the favorite, but honestly, I wouldn't be shocked by some weird result... especially given how banged up the visitors are in defense. 🤷
I'm betting on goals again because I just don't see an offensive powerhouse like Yeovil playing at home twice in a row without finding the net.
By the way, Yeovil Town holds the record for the most games with 3 or more goals in League Two—they've hit the over 25 times in 41 matches.

Good luck to everyone.

Rijeka vs Osijek 1 1.50@HL

Rijeka looks like a completely different team since Kek arrived. They’re finally playing actual football instead of just hoofing the ball blindly into the stands. They’ve already racked up three wins in a row, and honestly, I’m expecting a fourth one today. On the other hand, Osijek is struggling big time; they’re in terrible shape and dealing with a massive pile of suspensions and injuries.

Willem II vs PSV 2 1.30@HL

PSV is in a heated title race, and frankly, they are leagues ahead of their opponent today. Willem II is sitting dead last in the standings with almost zero chance of avoiding relegation given how poorly they’ve been playing lately. PSV absolutely needs this win, and I fully expect them to deliver.

Borussia Dortmund vs Augsburg 1 1.35@HL or 1.45@HL+

Even though Borussia has that second leg against Malago on Tuesday—meaning there's a decent chance Klopp might rotate the squad to give some starters a breather—I still think they'll hunt for a victory at the always packed Westfalenstadion (now known as Signal Iduna Park 😁). They'll want that confidence boost heading into Tuesday. The visitors are fighting to stay afloat, but pulling off an upset away at Dortmund is a tall order.

Juventus vs Pescara 1 1.15@HL

It’s top of the table versus the bottom of the table, and the bottom team is in total meltdown mode. Juve needs a comfortable win here just to build some momentum before their massive Wednesday showdown against Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid vs Levante 1 1.15@HL

I suspect Cristiano Ronaldo’s hunger for goals will be just too much for the visitors to handle. Plus, Real definitely wants to pull ahead of Atletico Madrid in the standings.

Personally, I’m going to toss Cedevita 1 against Split (1.15) from basketball onto this parlay.

Total odds: 4.30
Good luck. 😉

14/13 (88% success rate with my constant "hedging" strategy)

WBA/vs Arsenal....Yeah@1.95ss

Albion doesn't really seem to care one way or the other, I guess, like they're just vibing through it, but honestly, they’ve been pretty solid at home lately... (9-2-4, though they had a rough patch once, but then pulled off those last two 2:1 wins) whereas Arsenal is out there fighting for the Champions League and every single match feels massive for them. 6-5-4. I think Arsenal really needs to step up their intensity and actually go for the win (and they probably should), but man, I feel like West Brom might sneak in at least one goal, maybe even two, so this pick feels just a tiny bit safer than going straight for the 2, even if the odds are basically the same.
If you're worried about West Brom failing to score, just play the 2, because Arsenal is definitely getting one.

Good luck!

Roger Phillips said:Don't waste your money on things that don't matter.🙄😁Hey, just a heads-up—please don't go copying anyone else's work!😉
You see things playing out this way and you expect that outcome; if it doesn't happen, it's not on you.🤷

I’m actually expecting a few goals here today. Here's why:

Looking forward to the Yeovil Town vs Shrewsbury match! I've got my money on over 2.5 goals for this one.

Yeovil Town definitely has one of the most explosive offenses in League Two, but at the same time, they have one of the toughest defenses to watch when you're looking at those top six teams.
They’re looking at an average of 2.8 goals per game for this project.
Shrewsbury only conceded two more goals than they did, but they definitely didn't find the back of the net nearly as often as Yeovil Town.
They're heading out for this away game with some serious issues in the backline—they're actually missing four defenders!
Jones (38/1), Grandison (29/1), Gayle (15/1), and Edwards (4/0).
We kicked off the season with a solid 3-1 win over Shrewsbury. It was a great way to start!
Yeovil Town is heading into this match as the favorite, but honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if we saw a weird result. The visitors are dealing with some tough absences, which could definitely shake things up.🤷
I'm playing for goals here and really expecting them. Honestly, I find it hard to believe that an offensive team like Yeovil Town can play at home twice in a row without finding the back of the net.
By the way, Yeovil Town holds the record for games with three or more goals scored in League Two. They've hit that over mark 25 times out of their last 41 matches!

Good luck!

Yeovil Town pulled off a solid 3-1 win on the road! It was great to see them secure that victory away from home.😉

Reims vs Lyon 2 2,00

Looking at this matchup, I’m leaning toward a Lyon win... mostly because it feels like they finally need to snap this losing streak of theirs. They actually pulled off a convincing win in their last outing, so I'm expecting them to carry that momentum into tomorrow. Nice is breathing down their necks too, putting that third-place spot in serious jeopardy. Plus, it’s about time that defense with Lovren actually shows up for once. The odds look pretty sweet, so I'm throwing a little something on this duo... 😉

Horsens vs Nordsjaelland 2 2,00 @marathonbet

Horsens is looking absolutely gutted today—they’re missing their defensive anchor Mads Agesen (20/0), and honestly, the midfield depth is just non-existent right now because they've also lost:
Spelmann (23/2), Drachmann (22/0), Kortegaard (19/2), and Retov (18/0).
There is zero chance the home side can fill those holes... I mean, when you lose that much muscle in the middle of the pitch, you're basically asking for trouble.
Their form has been straight-up garbage lately too—they've managed exactly one win at home out of their last 9 matches in the top flight.

And don't even get me started on their away record... it's even uglier, sitting on a 5-game losing streak.
On the flip side, Nordsjaelland has been absolutely tearing it up recently, and I genuinely don't see them dropping this one. They’ve only managed one draw in their last 5 outings, racking up 4 wins in the process.
Plus, if you look at the history books, Nordsjaelland hasn't actually lost to Horsens in their last 10 meetings—it's been 8 wins and 2 draws.

03.03.13, FC Nordsjælland - AC Horsens 1 : 0
16.07.12, AC Horsens - FC Nordsjælland 0 : 4
23.05.12, FC Nordsjælland - AC Horsens 3 : 0
25.03.12, AC Horsens - FC Nordsjælland 0 : 2
24.07.11, FC Nordsjælland - AC Horsens 1 : 1
03.04.11, AC Horsens - FC Nordsjælland 0 : 0
05.12.10, FC Nordsjælland - AC Horsens 2 : 1
26.09.10, FC Nordsjælland - AC Horsens 3 : 0
24.05.09, AC Horsens - FC Nordsjælland 2 : 3

With odds like these, taking the away win is a total no-brainer.

21:00 Cobreloa vs Nublense (Over 2.5 goals) at 1.60 SS

Pick 1: 1.60 SS

Handicap +2 at 2.60 SS

Cobreloa is technically the "home" side here, though they aren't even playing on their own turf for this one. When they actually play at home, they’ve been putting up numbers like 5-3, 2-0—basically a goal difference of 17:9. Looking at their recent home run: 5:2, 4:1, 3:3, 4:2, and then that weird 1:1 where they scored early and just coasted to the whistle 🙄. Honestly, Cobreloa could easily drop three goals on their own if they felt like it; they've proven that enough times. That’s why I’m taking the over, even if the odds feel a bit thin. On the other side, the visitors are sitting tenth in the standings. They just got shelled for three goals at home against Huachipato, and while they might be looking for some redemption, I don't see much hope there. To make matters worse, they're showing up without their starting keeper, who went down injured during that mess against Huachipato. Cobreloa has two brutal road trips coming up right after this—the cup semifinal rematch against Universidad Católica and a league match against Unión Española—so they’ll likely hunt for three points here just to head into those games with some momentum. Because of all that, I'm leaning toward a Win for the home side, and since that handicap price looks pretty tempting, I'm grabbing that too...

Live betting odds - match Zenit vs Alania-

Next goal - none (2.20) - bet placed in the 70th minute.

Watching this live since kickoff.
Aside from that penalty in the 14th minute, Zenit has barely had two decent chances the whole game.
Samara has been controlling possession and dictating play for the last 20 minutes or so. Zenit’s only had one real half-chance in the second half.

9/10

Hannover vs VfB Stuttgart Over 3.5 goals @ 1.74

Both squads play an aggressive, high-octane style... just total attacking football.
Hannover is basically a fortress when they're playing at home—they live for those home points and are easily one of the toughest teams to visit in the league. On the road, though? They can be a bit hit or miss.
But man, at home, they absolutely tear it up, usually clearing the two-goal mark easy. Their home average is sitting at a massive 3.3 goals per match.

Then you've got Stuttgart. These guys are absolute killers on the road this year. They actually pick up way more points away from home than they do at their own stadium, which is wild.
The gap between these two sides is razor thin, and honestly, looking at their recent head-to-head history, it’s always been a goal fest. I'm expecting exactly that kind of chaos today.

Yaya Touré, Pinta, Rausch, Abdellaoue, M. Diouf against
Gentner, Maxim, Traore, Ibisevic...

Anzhi vs Alania 1 1,30@SS

Anzhi has been stuck in a bit of a rut lately, and frankly, they are overdue for a win. It’s almost too perfect that Alania is coming to town—they’re sitting at the bottom of the table and looking absolutely miserable right now. The home side is locked in a tight race with Zenit for a spot in the Champions League, and they simply cannot afford to drop points, especially against a team that's struggling this hard.

Napoli vs Genoa 1 1,35@SS or 1,45@SŠ

The hosts look like a complete unit right now, fighting tooth and nail for second place and a direct ticket to the Champions League. On the flip side, the visitors are in a desperate scrap just to stay in the league. While every single point matters for them, I think pure quality and the home-field advantage will settle this one today.

Chelsea vs Sunderland 1 1,35@SS

Chelsea is hunting for a Champions League spot, and there is zero margin for error here. Sunderland has brought in Di Canio to try and shake things up, hoping for that "new manager bounce" to spark their survival fight. However, Chelsea is finding their rhythm, and I'm confident they’ll walk away with all three points.

Fiorentina vs Milan 2 (LIVE) 1,22@SS

I’m tossing this onto my slip because I expect Milan to hold onto this 1-0 halftime lead, especially since they’ve managed to play with an extra man on the pitch. They were clearly the better side in the first half anyway.

To round things out and hit that six-game threshold for the big multiplier, I’ll add S. Williams 1 (1,10) in tennis and Kosice 1 (1,01) in women's basketball.

Total odds: 3.44
Good luck. 😉

Unión Española vs Valencia, Valencia at @ 1.30

Unión Española has basically secured their survival, but for Valencia? The Europa League is looking pretty out of reach—if they even want it at this point—since they're sitting too far off from that 4th place spot.

Malaga vs Osasuna, Osasuna at @ 1.50

Aside from being totally exhausted after facing Borussia Dortmund, points don't mean much for Malaga anymore since they've already missed out on European qualification. Meanwhile, every single point is absolutely vital for Osasuna if they want to stay up!

Blackb21/odg-AstonV21 (08.04. 20:00) da@1,55

Both sides seem to have a bit of a leaky defense lately; Blackburn has managed to both score and concede in five of their last six outings, while Aston Villa consistently finds the back of the net...

Bolton21/odg-Man.City(21) (08.04. 14:00) da@1,50

They've faced off five times now, and in four of those meetings, both teams found the score sheet. Manchester City certainly puts plenty away, but they aren't exactly airtight defensively either—17:17

Sry, just a quick glance at the stats, I didn't quite have the time for a deep dive...☕
