Spartak, now under their new manager Valery Karpin, are gonna be looking to bounce back after that absolute disaster of a loss last round against their local rivals, Dinamo Chicago, where they got hammered 1:5... just embarrassing.
Looking at their defense—honestly, I don't see any major changes there—they’re still making the same old mistakes and practically gifting a goal every single game. It's the same story over and over again.
On the bright side, their attacking talent is actually pretty solid—you've got Ari, Emmanuel Emenike, Artem Dzyuba, Welliton, and Ángel Jurado all out there scoring goals.
Zenit have been clinical when they get the chances, but man, their defense? They fold way too often, especially lately.
Hulk, Alexander Kerzhakov, and Bystrov can easily find the net, but they keep leaking goals... seriously, they've conceded at least one in each of their last five matches.
The home side is coming in super motivated to make up for that terrible result last week, but it’s gonna be an uphill battle because that defense just doesn't look reliable or convincing... then you've got the visitors, who desperately need a good result too.
They're coming for those points. Expect an open game—if not the whole time, then definitely for most of it.
These teams know each other inside out, and they always seem to trade blows... I honestly don't see what could stop them from having another high-scoring shootout today.

Looking back at the last nine matchups, Kryvyi Rih hasn't managed to find the back of the net against Shakhtar Donetsk once. To be precise, their last successful strike against them was all the way back on October 18, 2008, when they actually lost 4-2. Since then, Shakhtar has essentially treated these games like training sessions, winning every single one without conceding a single goal—usually covering a 7-goal handicap in the process. The only outlier in their history was back on October 20, 2007, when Kryvyi Rih pulled off a 1-0 home win. It’s funny how that works; in their history, whenever they actually manage to score on Shakhtar, they usually end up losing anyway. Anyway, Shakhtar is currently sitting pretty at the top of the American league with a dominant 16:1 record and a massive +41 goal difference. I don't see them dropping any points today, but honestly, betting on them at 1.25 feels like a total waste of money. If you're looking to take a swing, maybe try the handicap at 1.65 😉

It seems to me that Queens Park Rangers haven't managed to secure a single victory this season quite yet. They were incredibly active during the summer transfer window, bringing in several players who, on paper, seem quite talented. However, as often happens when a squad undergoes such significant turnover, they've struggled with a string of disastrous results, leaving them teetering on the edge of relegation. There might still be enough time to turn things around, but I suppose they really need to start finding ways to win at home. These poor performances eventually led to a change in management; Hughes was replaced by Graeme Redknap, who is currently in the process of getting to know the squad. The team actually showed a much more cohesive style of play last week, and if they had been a bit luckier, I think they might have finally secured their first win against Sunderland AFC. Given that Aston Villa is dealing with several key absences tomorrow, I feel it might just be the right moment for QPR to finally get their first win of the season.

I’ve been keeping a close eye on the Baltimore Orioles lately, and I think they should pull this one off. At the very least, I'm looking at a straight win, though I’m feeling optimistic enough about the spread to aim for a handicap cover. Either way, I'll be watching closely and keeping my fingers crossed for them. 🙂

Realistically, Real Madrid should walk all over Ajax... They can't afford any slip-ups in La Liga—they're already trailing—so I suspect José Mourinho will field his strongest lineup to get some momentum back. I'm looking at the handicap there. Also, a PSG win at 1.30 doesn't look bad either.

It's always a solid bet to look toward clubs from Eastern Europe; they're one of the few groups—alongside the Portuguese—that actually take this tournament seriously.

Honestly, if you ask me, they should probably just run for it and skip out on the Champions League tomorrow—unless, of course, those guys from Kyiv actually find their rhythm. There's just such a massive gap in quality here, plus they’ve been struggling big time this season. Maybe a quick, easy win would help them finally get some peace and quiet at home? I wouldn't be surprised if Zenit manages to sneak in a goal, too. I'm kind of hoping they finally show up tomorrow and secure a spot in the Europa League.

Group A— basically just a race for top spot where PSG absolutely has to beat Porto if they want that seeding advantage in the Round of 16.

Group B— if Arsenal and Schalke happen to end up tied on points, the German side takes it due to head-to-head tiebreakers—so Arsenal needs to pull off a win in Greece and pray for a slip-up from Schalke.
