I can't even get this forum to load on my phone once it gets past 10 AM... 😁

I am not entirely sure which smartphone you are using, but in my experience, my current device actually loads web pages faster than my desktop computer does. And I am certainly not talking about some high-end, top-of-the-line flagship model here.🤷

The forums are incredibly slow and I keep getting logged out constantly—it's becoming quite frustrating. Please look into this soon, or you might actually lose your user base. (And honestly, that would be a real shame).

It won't log you out if you actually bother to refresh the page every few minutes. If you aren't planning on doing that, just check the "Remember Me" box when you sign in and voilà!😁

Sometimes I fall asleep right next to my wife—which, honestly, is much better than staying up late scrolling through this forum. 😁 I don't use the "remember me" checkboxes—it just isn't my style.

In any case—thanks for the advice.

I’ll add my own bit of advice—one that’s pretty obvious: before you hit "post," always do a quick CTRL-A then CTRL-C to get your text into the clipboard. It saves a lot of heartache when the site inevitably crashes mid-sentence—it happened to me just yesterday while I was drafting a long note—and you don't want to lose everything.

Well, don't go complaining later on; you brought this on yourself.😉

My thanks to you as well.👋

Henry Evans3 said:It’s honestly wild how one forum with a million random users can run smoothly, yet this one, with way fewer people, is such a total mess

And please, don't even start with those "do you know how much a high-end server costs?" excuses... I mean, if this is supposed to be one of the "biggest" sites out there🙄🤦, just like that genius mentioned earlier

Look, Pearl, seriously, Pearl☕—how can a massive forum with millions of users stay up? It’s because they have actual beefy servers! Honestly, if we just weeded out all these "know-it-alls" who haven't said anything smart since they joined—and man, there are plenty of them cluttering up the place—this forum could probably run on my old single-core PC without breaking a sweat🙂

Go ahead, try to find a forum in America or anywhere else nearby that's even half as big as this one when you're acting so tough.

PS: It isn't about how many people are registered; it's about how many people are actually online and how many posts and threads are being pumped out.

But we can't just keep spinning our wheels like this forever. 🤣 There’s gotta be some kind of fix coming down the pipeline. 🤔

I'm right there with him. Something has to give, because nobody knows how much longer we can actually pull this off.

It’s pretty damn obvious the issue is with the server! During the day when everyone is online, the forum just refuses to load. Once it hits midnight and the crowd thins out, everything runs perfectly fine!

I honestly thought it was just some glitch with my browser😵
But look—it’s nearly 2:30 AM now and the damn thing is running perfectly
During the day, though? It is absolutely pathetic

Yeah, it’s running smoothly now, which basically means that if you're looking to settle in and do some reading or posting around this forum, you just have to get through a little bit of the initial grind first, and then you can just sit back and enjoy it all

Hold on a second. We had nearly 18,000 people online back on December 8th, and I didn't even notice.

All I do is kill the loading process and hit refresh, then—boom—the page pops right up. It’s fast, sure, but man, this whole stop-and-go dance is driving me absolutely insane. It feels like driving a car where the engine stalls every ten feet. Honestly, I'd rather just hand over $3.25 and let every single person active on here go out and buy themselves a decent little server from a place like Amazon
. Just get it over with.

I’m starting to suspect that pure evil has staged a total coup over this entire forum, leaving the moderators and administrators—no matter how brilliant or well-intentioned they might be—completely powerless to push back against such darkness.
you all ought to be terrified, truly, you should be shaking in your boots! 🤣

Either fix it so it actually works, or just shut it down altogether.

This is getting ridiculous. The lag on this site is driving me insane 🙂 honestly thought I was the one with the bad connection at first 🤷 but now I see it’s a total mess everywhere. We need some fixes ASAP 🙂

Same here, 😕
I mean, I read stuff on my phone all the time, but honestly, typing on it is such a chore. Then, once I actually sit down at my computer, load up the page, and log in... I just lose all motivation. 🙂 🙂

I handle all my reading and posting exclusively on my iPhone, but whenever I actually need to upload photos to Craigslist, I have to switch over to my computer. And honestly, it’s becoming a total nightmare. Even as I’m typing this out on my phone, I can see my desktop sitting there, just staring at a loading screen for the Craigslist site for a full minute already!!! For goodness sake...!!!! Please, just get something better working soon! You can't just leave it like this, can you?
