Look, I guess it’s just not really on the table to go around sniffing out who belongs to whom or trying to figure out whose clone is whose, and honestly, if that’s where this whole line of questioning is headed, then it’s just a hard no from me.

That’s not really what I meant! I was more curious about how the authorities—who should know—actually find out? Is it maybe through an Intel address?

Honestly, there’s really no need for me to spell this out for you—as one of our most dedicated users, you probably shouldn't even be giving this much thought. 😉

Like what jadetrucker43 was getting at earlier, I guess what people really need to wrap their heads around is that having clone accounts isn't strictly off-limits, provided you aren't using them to dodge a ban or breaking the rules with them, and honestly, as long as you aren't just sitting there talking to yourself in the same thread, which would be pretty pathetic.

I totally get that, but I guess if a family member or a friend uses my computer and logs into my account, could the authorities maybe misinterpret something?

Feel free to keep using the same computer—it’s not like everything boils down to the Intel. 🙂

Is there a way to see a ranking of the most active forum members within a specific discussion thread?

Once you pull up the subforum you're looking for, just glance to the right of the thread title. You'll see who dropped the last comment and the total number of replies in that discussion. Try clicking on that reply count 😉

I was just wondering, is there some kind of scale or maybe something similar that tracks the total number of posts made by everyone on the entire forum? Like, does a master leaderboard exist for all users across the whole site 😁

edit:actually, I think I figured it out myself

I'm trying to upload a new profile pic, but I keep getting stuck on "it is not a valid image."
Any idea what that actually means?

Are you uploading an avatar directly from your computer or just pasting some URL link?

I just have an emblem on my PC. It's something I touched up in Microsoft Paint..

Is there any way to see a list of all the threads started by each user? Like, looking back over the last few years... maybe some kind of registry or archive?

There's no way that thing was saved in any decent quality, honestly.
Just right-click the image - open with - Microsoft Paint
And once you've got it open, go to File - Save As - and before you actually hit save, just change the Save as type to JPEG and then save it.

I'm not totally sure if the search tool goes back several years, but I guess you can still see the threads they've started.
You just head over to the user's profile - Statistics - and there should be a link right there: Find all threads started by...

Not sure if the search tool goes back that far, but you can check out their old threads.

So, what’s the deal when you click on someone’s profile (statistics) and that "Recommendations:0,1..." part pops up at the bottom?
Are those just moderator endorsements?
