Look, I don't care about your photos, but suggesting we should just go see him if we're interested is incredibly rude!

I agree. Based on everything posted here, you were constantly polling the forum for info right up until your nose surgery.
Back then, you were asking everyone questions, commenting, requesting photos; now, you won't give a straight answer to those of us going through the exact same struggles you once did.
Fine, you don't have to send photos, but at least write out what happened—what went wrong or what went well.
For me, Glusac is a top choice, and I believe this forum exists specifically so we can discuss both the wins and the failures of a procedure.
So what if he or his staff reads it??!!!
That doesn't mean you lie to his face or paint a fake picture of reality.
The man probably does two or three noses a day; he isn't going to remember every single person.

It’s pretty funny how the person who went around asking for everyone's photos—and probably got them, too—is suddenly being super stingy about sharing their own. You talk all this big game about trust... meanwhile, I’ve sent you photos multiple times and replied to countless emails... so what exactly was I supposed to be suspicious of? Look, I don't really care about your pictures, but that comment suggesting we should just go pay him a visit if we're so interested? That's just plain rude...

What are you even talking about...?😕 The people who sent me photos were the ones who actually volunteered to send them—they’re perfectly happy with their noses. I know maybe two people who sent shots because they weren't satisfied, but that was only so I could give them my honest take. Honestly, what’s even the point of sending photos if you aren't looking for a critique? I already told you in our private messages that I’m waiting for everything to settle down before I make a final call—something you literally mentioned yourself a few pages back in this thread. I’ve answered every single DM and question in exhaustive detail... if I missed anything, it was purely accidental. The women I’ve been chatting with can vouch for that. I handled things the exact same way before my surgery, too, so this aggressive attitude from you—acting like I'm being selfish—doesn't make any sense to me at all... 👎

casualcanyon14 said:Look, you don't need to go sending me pictures. Just tell me what happened—who did what, what went right, or what went wrong... that's all I need to know.

You couldn't have just sent me a private message? Seriously... Why would you go out of your way to trash someone publicly when it hasn't even been three months since their surgery? WTF...

It doesn't even matter who's who anymore...

You've got it wrong. He knows everything—he actually told me the exact same thing himself... 👍

I have answered everyone's messages and questions in great detail; if I missed anything, it was purely accidental. I was doing this even before my surgery (the girls I spoke with can vouch for that), so I honestly don't understand this aggression from you. 👎

Couldn't you have just asked me via DM? Why attack someone publicly when it hasn't even been three months since the surgery? WTF.

I think we all pretty much realize that the true, final shape of a nose isn't defined until a full year has passed.
But sure, you can offer an assessment after three months if you want.
Now, is this being honest or just trash-talking??
Just imagine—if I were in your shoes back when you were considering Dr. Glusca, would I have had this experience? Would I have been acting this mysterious? What would you even think of me then?!!
I know it's not the final result yet, but three months isn't such a short time that we couldn't mention what didn't turn out right.
I asked you publicly (since I'm planning to go to Dr. Glusca for a follow-up), but you could have easily just replied to my DM.

Even if three months have passed, you can still give some kind of rating... if you really want to...

Alright. Rating: 3.8/5...😬 So, I’m satisfied—even if things didn't turn out exactly how he said they would. I'm still holding out hope, though... maybe there'll be a shift soon. Or maybe I'm just overthinking everything... 🤷 I know if anyone actually saw what my nose used to look like, they’d all be telling me, "You’re crazy, it looks amazing now"—which is exactly why I don't feel like sending photos or explaining myself to anyone... If you already had the "perfect" look from the jump, everything else is just easy.

Just imagine if I were in your shoes back then—if you actually thought you were choosing Dr. Glusac... would you have ended up with this kind of experience? Would you be acting all mysterious about it too? What even would you think at that point?!!

If he had actually ruined me, you can bet he would've made sure the whole world heard about it—he’d be shouting it from the rooftops. Honestly, plenty of girls on this forum have come forward saying "he ruined me," and they wouldn't even go as far as naming names... yet nobody ever gets called out for it either...

I posted that question publicly—mostly because I’m planning to head to the Mayo Clinic to see Dr. Glusac—but you could have just sent me a DM if you wanted... honestly.

I don't always pay close attention—I tend to skim through things pretty fast and end up missing stuff... I'll shoot you a PM now.

Or maybe I’m just imagining things. 🤷 I know if anyone saw my nose before, they would have said, "You're crazy, it looks amazing." That's one reason I don't bother sending photos or explaining myself. If you get what you want immediately, everything is "perfect" afterward.

If he had truly ruined me, I certainly would have shouted it from the rooftops. Plenty of women on this forum have jumped in to say, "He ruined me," without even wanting to name names, yet no one attacks them.

I don't always follow everything closely; I often skim through quickly and miss stuff. Sending you a PM now.

I really am not attacking you; in fact, I understand you completely. It isn't easy to be totally sober and objective after going through all that torture.
To me, it doesn't matter at all what others think; it's about what I want, what I see, and what I desire.
My family is so against surgery, but I want a more narrow, refined nose. I won't settle for just "a little smaller" or "a little narrower"...
That's why I'm in such a dilemma. For now, Glumicicev seems like the best option, but since he isn't an ENT, I just don't know anymore!

Look, I haven't sent my photos to anyone unless they specifically hit me up in a private message first.
And honestly, nobody was sending stuff my way either, unless I was the one asking. I just thought it was pretty rude that you were digging for photos from me and I actually sent them, but when I turned the tables and asked you, you suddenly went cold. Fine, whatever—everyone’s got the right to decide who gets to see their face or not... but personally, I think you should give people the same energy they're giving you.
Honey, you totally misread the vibe of that post. There isn't a single ounce of aggression in there, just straight-up disappointment...

Look, you volunteered—mostly because you were obsessed with how it turned out—if you hadn't, I wouldn't have even brought it up. Honestly, I don't even think about that damn nose anymore. I don't look at it, I don't analyze it... I'm just done with it. And because of that attitude, people don't even realize I had surgery in the first place. 🤣

If you already had the goods, everything "afterward" just seems perfect.

And honestly, even I wouldn't give him a perfect score... I'd probably rate him a 4.7, maybe. My nose wasn't a total disaster before, it was just crooked. I'm fully aware that perfection doesn't exist and that nobody is ever 100% satisfied with anything. I wish certain things were just slightly different... though, truth be told, I care less about the look now... I'm more worried about that deviation coming back... I'm constantly paranoid that it'll start leaning again and I'll have trouble breathing...

And hey, don't sweat it, we'll see each other eventually. Just give me some time to snap some decent, high-quality photos first. Honestly? I don't even think about that damn nose anymore. I don't stare at it, I don't obsess over it, I don't analyze it. I'm just done with it. It's actually because of my attitude that people don't even realize I had surgery. 🤣

Well, if you say so... fine. But I didn't just send it to you out of the blue... I sent it because we were chatting and you wanted to know what the result looked like so you could judge for yourself—a picture really is worth a thousand words, right? 😁

But yeah... casualcanyon14 made a solid point... you really have to be patient and wait that full year for the nose to actually settle and take its final shape before making any final calls... It's better that way... honestly, just try not to give it a second thought until then. 😂

From what I could see, it was pretty crooked from the front, but since it's small, it stayed that way after the surgery... I guess it's just harder to get a decent result for people like us who started with a massive bump. Anyway, I'm not going to let it get to me, even though some lady already piped up with "Well, it didn't shorten it from the front" (ugh!)—and this was coming from someone who barely even saw me clearly up close. But whatever, she's basically half-blind anyway...🥳 🙂

There are just too many questions regarding stormyharbor2's nose. A total mystery...😁

On another note, stormyharbor2, I hope you're happy with the results, or will be soon. I can't say for sure if you are, since I can only guess. You sent me a DM, I replied politely with photos and explanations, and then you just "politely" ignored me...

😕🙄Or maybe she just doesn't like you, so she didn't feel like engaging. Honestly, give me a break. It's like we're back in middle school acting like "she sent me a message and then blew me off." Please... enough with this nonsense.🙄 🤣

I happened to spot Carol Diaz31 by chance, and then I saw her again after her procedure—my sweet little thing😍. Tell me, how did I comfort you and give you advice before your mother saw us😉? 😍Back then, we had no idea we’d end up typing on the same forums; we only made that connection last night.🤣The world is just too small.🙂

Ladies, just wait a few more months. There's no sense in stressing yourselves out. Save your nerves for when your own kids come to you asking for nose jobs. 🙂🙂 🤣

Carol Diaz31 said:Ladies (and guys 😁), how many of you actually went for lymphatic drainage or massages after your surgery?
I’ve seen people mentioning it here quite a bit, so I asked my doctor during my checkup today. He told me I don't need anything and shouldn't touch the area at all.🤷

Did you have your surgery with Glumicic? How much did it cost?
What’s your take on her???
Thanks so much

Well, I know I was absolutely precious... purple is definitely my color. 😁
Honestly... I received instructions for everything, from what to eat to how to carry myself. And even though we think we know it all and feel totally prepared before diving into surgery, it’s still such a massive relief when you're sitting there with a broken nose and someone who already has a beautiful nose tells you that it'll all pass quickly. 😍

rustygardener172 said:I have no idea who Dalia is referring to... people travel from all over to see Dr. Glusac. During my last checkup, he was actually operating on someone who flew in from Germany. But honestly, I bet most of our top surgeons get international patients—the prices here are just way more reasonable compared to the States.
P.S. Did you look for any more of Dalia's posts? I'm dying to know if she ended up going through with that other surgery and how it turned out. 😁

So, I finally tracked down that "mysterious" doctor. I don't quite get why the girl wouldn't just drop the name for everyone to see... anyway, I managed to talk to the woman Dalia sent the name to in a private message, and turns out it's Glumicic. Honestly, I'm a little let down—Glumicic is known for doing those "Miss Piggy" noses.

I’m not telling anyone anything, yet somehow everyone seems to know because they just watch what gets posted here, including things that have nothing to do with my nose or the surgery itself. It’s just so frustrating, honestly. If I say it here, then there's no point in saying it to him in person, and I'd much rather just talk to him directly.

I only showed my photos to two people, and one was actually a patient of his right after me, so I guess I trust her just enough... If you guys are really that curious, maybe you could go check out the photos at the Mayo Clinic, though those were taken just a few days after the procedure and my nose looks quite different now.

I'm so sorry, but I get at least a few private messages every single day about my nose, so I'm not sure if I missed your specific question—please just ask again! 🤷

Man, your pictures sound painful. Honestly, what you wrote feels kind of funny to me... I guess he might read this tomorrow. 🤣

jadedriver0 said:😕 🙄Maybe she just doesn't like you that much, so she didn't feel like chatting? I mean, goodness, it's not like we're middle schoolers acting like "oh, you sent me a message and then ignored me!" Please, give me a break!🙄 🤣

I think you're totally missing the point here. There's such a thing as being polite, you know? Since I went out of my way to be helpful and send photos of my face upon request, I'd expect at least a decent response to a question.

But whatever, it doesn't matter.

And wasn't stormyharbor2 the one telling all the girls that a small nose doesn't suit everyone and wouldn't look good on her face?? And now suddenly a small nose is the goal? Well, okay, not my problem, I'm just observing.

Edit—Kate Taylor59, your inbox is absolutely flooded, so I can't get to your question right now.

I have a friend—someone I've known for twelve years, we actually sat in the same class together for four of those (so, she’s had plenty of opportunities to get a good look at my nose🤣)—and she told me just a month after my surgery, and I quote: "Honestly, it looks exactly the same." 😲 So, clearly, we aren't dealing with some blind old lady here.😂
