Yeah, that’s exactly what I was thinking too—honestly, if I could just get it to slim down a bit, that would be perfect for me.
And I've got this feeling like it started bulging out after maybe two or three hard hits to the face :S... I mean, looking back, my nose used to look totally normal about five years ago.

I mean, I don't know, maybe—personality aside, which doesn't really matter much anyway—but I honestly think it’s just way too big for my face.

I was actually thinking about getting rhinoplasty myself, though I’m honestly not quite sure if it’s even necessary for me xD
I feel a bit silly posting these photos here, but I’d really value your honest take on things.

So, those are the two shots; I’d be pretty grateful if you could just give me a simple yes or no.😁

Surgery???? For what reason??? I suppose it doesn't seem to make much sense! Perhaps it's just that I used to have such a prominent nose, so my perspective is skewed, but looking at this, surgery doesn't seem necessary. It would likely end up looking completely artificial. And I think Kenneth Kim67 made a valid point when mentioning how you might lose your sense of self. I always assumed people sought out nose jobs because they were deeply distressed by their appearance, to the point where they couldn't live a normal life because of it—not because they were merely feeling somewhat uncertain about it.😕 🙂

gentleskipper14 said:My vacation actually runs through tomorrow, so I’ll be heading back to the office soon. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue how I’m supposed to layer on my makeup when everything feels so strangely tacky to the touch 🤷 . Apparently, this numbness lingers for nearly a month. The absolute worst part is when someone tries to make me laugh; the whole area around my nose just tightens up so intensely, it almost feels as though I’ve had a massive dose of Botox injected right there. But, I suppose we’ll all get through it, and things will eventually look great! Oh, by the way, what kind of reactions have you been getting from people? Friends and everyone else... People have actually told me I look quite a bit younger. Then there are those who don't say anything at all—just a few vague little comments and nothing more. Though, I really can't believe my mother told me she actually likes it. That was probably the biggest surprise of all. She wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of the surgery, yet she still ended up supporting me.

From what I’ve read, that numbness can sometimes stretch on for up to two months. It felt exactly the same for me during those first few days whenever someone tried to crack a joke, though I guess it feels significantly better now.
As for the reactions? Hmm, for the people who were aware I was undergoing the procedure, they’ve been wonderful; they love the results, though I think they were mostly just terrified that I wouldn't wake up from the general anesthesia 😁 😵
Then there are the people who had no idea. I've noticed they tend to look at me a bit differently, though I suspect they might just be a little hesitant to ask what happened. They mention that I seem... different, somehow, but they can't quite put their finger on why. Maybe it's because I cut my hair?? 😂 😂 😵 No, that isn't it, but I don't exactly go around telling people I went under the knife for cosmetic work. I don't really care to discuss it too much, at least not while everything is still so "fresh" 🙂

Reactions? Well, for the people who knew I was heading in for surgery, the feedback has been awesome! They love the look—they were just terrified I wouldn't wake up from the general anesthesia. 😁 😵

Maybe it's the haircut?? 😂 😂 😵 Nope, it's not the hair, but I'm not telling anyone I went under the knife for cosmetic work. I don't really like talking about it too much—not while everything is still so "fresh." 🙂

I'm practically back to my normal routine already, entering my third week post-op 🙂 though I'm still being careful not to overdo it. Honestly, I was getting so bored just lying around all day after the procedure. I even managed to do a full face of makeup for a party! Later, I just slathered some olive oil on the incisions—inside and out—and it works wonders! 👋 It actually looks a little flatter now, so nobody even realizes

Exactly, I really don't think you need surgery... your nose looks fine to me, it's definitely nothing major.

By the way, I had a rhinoplasty myself and I'm not exactly thrilled with the results. It looked great at first, but then after about a year, this weird little indentation showed up right where they worked on it...

Joshua Scott62 said:Yeah—that’s basically what I was thinking too. A little bit of reduction would be perfect right about now.
I’ve got this bump popping out, probably from taking a couple of hits to the face back in the day... maybe five years ago? My nose used to be totally normal.

Honestly, you don't even need surgery. Men should have masculine noses, not some tiny, dainty thing 😉. Besides, if you actually *wanted* to fix it, you wouldn't be asking us for our take. But seriously—if you're hesitating, just wait and really think it through. If everyone posted their photos here, you'd get 100 different opinions from 100 different people. I went under the knife for myself, and honestly, people who haven't done it just don't get it.
That part really caught me off guard. I almost wanted to shout: Hellooo??? People? You can clearly see the difference in my profile photo. It isn't long anymore and the bump is gone! Plus, it doesn't droop when I laugh 😍

Look, Joshua Scott62, I dealt with the same thing. My profile started looking prominent toward the end of elementary school, and honestly, it felt more intense than what you're describing. If this is actually eating you alive and you can't stop obsessing over it, just go get it done. If you keep putting it off, you’ll just stay stuck in that loop. But here’s the real truth: we all hyper-fixate on our own flaws way more than anyone else does. Do you ever sit there thinking about how great the kid in the front row looks, or how that third guy is overweight, or how the seventh guy has a boxer's nose, or even how that girl over there has a weird head shape? No, you don't. Personally, I ended up getting a procedure, but I have to tell you—I don't feel any more confident or relaxed because of it. It never really bothered me before, and from what I can see, it doesn't bother most people either. Yeah, my nose looks better now and the difference is obvious once you see it, but nobody actually noticed because people are too busy worrying about their own lives to care about someone else's nose. Maybe if you've reached that stage where you think girls won't want you because of your nose—which was my personal struggle, so I didn't even try with girls back then, though I had a few cute crushes—maybe it'll help you. You'll see things "go smoother," but I'm still getting rejected at an embarrassing rate : )) At the end of the day, it's all in your head. If you've got a solid, chill personality, you won't give a damn because you've already accepted yourself. But if you're anything like the rest of us here, just go get it fixed so you can stop stressing. Do it for your own peace of mind.

What kind of surgery? Are you serious? If you go through with a nose job now, you might as well just get rid of it entirely since it’s already so tiny! Look, I totally agree that for guys, having an imperfect nose isn't even an issue. Unless they have some massive protrusion or a nose that looks like it was crushed in a bar fight, there is zero reason to touch it. I can't stand those fake-looking types, and God forbid my guy ends up with some tiny, upturned button nose!! I'm looking for a man, not a girl.

Watching this whole Ava Karabatic surgery saga on the red Carpet, and I honestly can't wrap my head around the idea that they used to perform stuff like this on us while we were fast asleep back in the day.😉)))
When you're watching it play out, you wouldn't even dream of going under the knife—but apparently, it’s actually pretty straightforward.
I’m genuinely curious to see how the final look turns out!!😂
That doctor seems kind of nice, though.🙂

Exactly! That was my biggest fear at first—watching those surgical shows on TV and thinking about the reality of it. Has she completely lost her mind? 😵

Look, you’re claiming your nose is way too big for your face, but all you showed us was a close-up of your nose—not the actual face it belongs to! I get it, you probably don't want anyone recognizing you, but without seeing the full picture, I can't give you an honest opinion... why? Well, let me tell you, everyone told me after my own procedure that a different nose would look ridiculous or fake on me, but since I have a narrow face, this smaller nose actually matches perfectly!

As for men and their noses—since we don't want your ego getting too huge—every single guy I've dated had a larger or "imperfect" nose because, honestly, it's just something that attracts me. It sounds a bit blunt, I know, but to me, that's what a real man looks like. I am definitely not into those "pretty boy" types like Brad Pitt... My fiancé has a prominent nose, but it suits him perfectly (and he's a total catch), and I swear I'd kill him if he ever even thought about getting surgery. Of course, it hasn't even crossed his mind because his nose is part of his character—and let me tell you, it was a total magnet for women before I snatched him up!😁

Quick heads-up for anyone who’s recently gone under the knife...

So, I headed out to the local CVS today to grab some more saline solution—I totally burned through my first bottle just rinsing my nose—and while I was stuck waiting in line, something caught my eye on the shelf. The packaging specifically asked: "Congested nose?" 😁
I mean, seriously? Are you talking to me?

Anyway, I won't ramble too much, but I ended up grabbing this little device for $30. Honestly, if you want clear sinuses, this thing is a total game-changer. I used it and managed to pull out this thick mucus with a bit of blood that there was absolutely no way I could have cleared by blowing my nose—not that we're allowed to blow our noses too hard after surgery, as most of you probably know anyway.
It’s called the Rhino Horn. Some of you might already be familiar with it, but I spent so much time scrolling through posts here before my procedure and didn't see a single mention of it—if I had, I would’ve bought it way sooner... http://www.yogaprosess.com/america/rhinohorn.html
The sensation is wild... you feel the water rushing into one nostril and you're just bracing for it to trickle down your throat... but instead, it comes blasting out the other side along with all the junk. 😲
I don't know if the mod is going to come after me for basically running an ad, but I swear I have zero connection to the manufacturer—I just genuinely want to pass along a tip that actually worked for me! 👍

I ended up being an hour late to work this morning because I was too busy "gluing" my face together...😂
I seriously had no clue that foundation could cover dark circles this well...😲
My skin isn't even really problematic, so I've never used much makeup before—I've definitely never put this much on in my entire life, and I probably never will again...
Oh, and I realized it looks way better if you gently tap it on instead of just smearing it all over!
(Okay, maybe that’s common sense to everyone else, but since I’ve never applied this much product at once, I had to say it 🤷)

Ah, I feel kind of silly posting a full headshot right now xD—it’s like nobody else has uploaded their photos yet, so here I am acting like a total dork! But alright, fine, let's see how it goes. I guess I should mention though, my nose doesn't actually look that huge in person, but somehow it just seems to jump out at you once you're looking at my whole face... 😁

You could just post the whole face and censor the eyes, like some kind of grainy CCTV footage.😛

I have to admit, though—I’ve always had a thing for big, rugged noses on guys.

😍

Actually, thinking about it, I feel the same way about women. It just needs to have some definition.

Novak Djokovic's wife. She is pure fire.

The only thing I can't stand is potatoes. And unfortunately, I've got plenty of them.😢😢😢

I’ve got an upcoming sinus surgery on the calendar. I’ve been doing some digging into the procedure and what the recovery process actually looks like. I also heard a rumor that you might be naked 🙂
during the operation. Does anyone here have any insight on that? It’s probably not a huge deal, but it feels a little strange to think about.

I’ve been thinking about getting a nose job for a long time now. When I was a kid, I didn't really care, but then high school hits and suddenly everyone is constantly comparing themselves, and I just started obsessing over my own flaws 😁
The truth is, I hate my nose. My face is narrow and long, which makes my nose look way too big—especially with that bump on it 😢 . I’m trying to work up the nerve and save enough cash, so hopefully in a year or so I'll finally have a cute little nose 😍 It's driving me crazy. Now, all I do is stare at people's noses when I look at them 🤣 😬
