Anyone know anything about that? It’s probably not a big deal, just seems weird to me.

What do you mean naked?? You weren't born naked, obviously! But yeah, they’ll have you strip down from the waist up so they can hook you up to all those heart monitors and whatever else. Since you're a guy, it shouldn't be that awkward—honestly, women find that part way more uncomfortable. Personally, I didn't care at all. The second I stripped, I forgot all about it because that pre-op injection hits you so hard you just don't give a damn about being half-naked in front of a bunch of strangers.😁

I had no idea foundation could actually do such an incredible job covering up dark circles... honestly, life changer!😲
I don't really have skin issues—nothing major, anyway—so I’ve never been one to go overboard with products. Honestly, I haven't spent this much on skincare in my entire life... and I probably never will again!
Oh, and I finally realized—tapping lightly is way better than smearing everything around!
Look, maybe this is common knowledge for most of you—but I’ve seriously never seen him go this hard before. Just saying! 🤷)

So, when did you actually have the surgery? For me, the bruising cleared up after about a week—and that purple line (you know, the one that looks like someone just swiped a marker across your skin)—was gone pretty quick too! 😂 My eye area still looks a little weird after two weeks—just a bit of lingering redness above the lid. Honestly, my nose feels way more constricted lately, which is super obvious whenever I’m not wearing any makeup. But hey, I have to admit to everyone here... I am absolutely thrilled when I finally manage to pull off a high-quality, perfect contour! 🙂

So, it’s been 10 days now... I’ve got this weird purplish-green discoloration under both eyes plus one eyelid—nothing massive, just surface level—and there's this little bruise on my nose too. Honestly, the nose one is the absolute worst because it was tucked away under bandages and molds, so I didn't even realize it was happening or get a chance to treat it before it showed up...

I already posted about the specific method I used to harvest those high-quality, huge, thick morels...😁
Anyway, I’m planning to head back out and do it all over again tonight. I can't wait—I know the area way up in my nasal cavity is completely blocked, and I just can't seem to clear it out no matter what I do...

Hey everyone. I'm wondering if anyone here has gone through rhinoplasty for a "bulbous" nose shape. From the front, the profile looks okay, but the scale is all wrong because my eyes are small. Then there's the side view—a hump, then a dip, followed by the tip... just a mess. Does anyone know the ballpark cost for a procedure involving osteotomy to narrow the bridge and reshape the tip?

My nostrils aren't huge; they're actually on the smaller side. When looking at me head-on, they barely show up, and I’d really like to keep it that way. I don't want to end up looking like a pig.

One more thing, and this is a bit awkward, but I have to ask. Do I need to clear out any nasal hair before the surgery, or is that handled during the procedure? I own a trimmer, but I'm hesitant to use it myself since I tend to nick the skin and end up with little cuts... :/

Guys, I'm looking at these photos from that singer's new nose job... and honestly? My God. You wouldn't even guess she went under the knife. It just looks huge—way too high and prominent...
Vrsak is fine. But everything else👎

What do you all think about it?🤷
I don't really care about her personally—she can do whatever she wants—but since we're all over here dissecting plastic surgery and doctors, this just looks like a total disaster to me.!!!!!!

One wouldn't even suspect it had been surgically altered at all. It just seems so large and sits so high on her face...
Vrsak looks perfectly fine, but as for everything else👎

what are your thoughts on this matter?🤷
Personally, I don't much care what she does with her own appearance—one can't really help someone who doesn't want to be helped—but since we spend so much time here discussing plastic surgery and medical professionals, I truly feel this was a rather poor execution of a procedure! It just doesn't look right.

You make a fair point; looking at her profile, the bridge of the nose still appears far too high. It simply wasn't done correctly.👎

It’s probably still swollen since it hasn't been long enough, but honestly, the profile looks just... off. Don't get me wrong—I'm not a fan of that tiny, doll-like nose look on grown women either—but this is way over the top. He definitely should have gone another half-inch smaller.
If I saw someone looking like this without any context, I'd tell them they need an aesthetic touch-up immediately.
It's bizarre!!!😕Seriously,
And the doctor clearly thinks this is free advertising—since he'll be all over the TV screens—but at this rate, it's going to backfire and become a total PR nightmare!

I honestly don't get what she actually had done; that little bump is still right there. Plus, her entire nose looks larger now—though I'm assuming that's just from the swelling...
I'm not a fan of overly small, upturned noses either, but this just looks off, I agree..

I don't think she even had an ugly nose before this. Honestly, even the doctor said she had a "charming" nose, but when she’s out here demanding surgery just to fix a tiny little bump you can barely see from the profile view... man, she’s really just throwing money down the drain. This guy hasn't actually done anything at all. Plus, he’s kind of a joke of a surgeon anyway. 🙂)

casualscout65 said:So, here’s some unsolicited advice for anyone who just went under the knife recently...

I was heading out to hit up a local CVS today to grab more saline because I totally nuked my first bottle trying to rinse my nose... and while I'm stuck waiting in this endless line, this one product catches my eye—the packaging literally asks: "Congested nose?" 😁
I mean, seriously? You're talking to me?

Anyway, long story short, I grabbed this little gadget for $30, specifically for clearing things out—and let me tell you, it was intense. I pulled out this chunk of mucus with a bit of blood that there was absolutely zero chance of getting out just by blowing my nose... (and obviously, we aren't supposed to blow our noses too hard after surgery, in case you didn't know that part)
It’s called the Rhino Horn. Maybe some of you already know about it, but honestly, I spent ages scrolling through posts on here before my surgery and nobody mentioned it. If they had, I would've picked it up way sooner....http://www.yogaprocess.com/rhinohorn.html
It feels wild... you feel the water going up your nose and you're just bracing for it to pour down your throat... then suddenly, boom, it comes out the other nostril along with all the junk.....😲
I don't know if the mods are gonna come after me for basically running an ad here, but I swear I don't make this stuff—I just want to give a heads-up since it actually worked wonders for me!👍

The Rhino Horn is actually modeled after Neti pots (that whole sinus rinsing thing used in yoga for hundreds of years)
It's a fantastic method, and it really helped me back when I dealt with constant sinus infections, but it never crossed my mind to try it right now post-op—plus, I didn't really feel the need for that kind of deep cleaning until now...

Honestly, that nose job turned out pretty underwhelming. I mean, you can tell there's still some swelling, but what was even done during the surgery??? It’s not even remotely straight. I just don't get it... 🤷 It’s like the surgeon barely made an incision and just stitched it right back up. Seriously. My results, though? Total jackpot. I really lucked out—can't complain about that! 🙏 🙂

That’s actually a fantastic method, and honestly, it helped me out a ton back when I was dealing with constant sinus infections. But—and this is a big but—it didn't even cross my mind to start doing that right after my surgery, nor did I feel like I needed such an intense deep clean just yet...
http://www.jalanetipot.com/method.html

Look, I know the whole backstory—I've read all about the yoga stuff and those traditional practices. People were clearing their nasal passages for years before they even thought about brushing their teeth...

I still have a pretty narrow nasal passage that gets clogged up easily from even the tiniest bit of mucus or blood, and I can definitely see that using this has thinned things out and made it way easier to clear everything out...
Plus, when I went in for my follow-up this morning, the doctor noted there wasn't much left to clear out at all.
Since my doctor lives quite a distance away, I’ve been heading in for cleanings every couple of days—if I could actually go every single day, I bet I wouldn't be dealing with any of this hassle at all.

As for whether you should do this post-op? There’s absolutely no reason not to, provided the water is sterile. Or, you know, just use boiled water mixed with a little salt—buying those individual saline bottles (the 250ml $3.25 ones) is just an absurdly expensive way to go about it...

And frankly, I plan on keeping this as part of my daily hygiene routine moving forward. Okay, maybe not literally every single day, but you know... just whenever I feel a cold coming on.👍

Hey everyone. So, I’ve been diagnosed with a deviated septum and I’ve decided to go through with the surgery. I’d much rather do this privately, so I was wondering if anyone knows any good doctors—or even a few options? I’m also looking for info on pricing, whether payment plans are available, and if there's a fee for the initial consultation. Also, does anyone know a surgeon who works at a major hospital but also maintains a private practice? Please share names, costs, and your actual experiences...

Honestly, you guys are starting to get on my nerves with all this septum deviation talk.. This thread should really be for people looking into cosmetic stuff, not just those jumping on the social media bandwagon because they think they have some massive medical issue. Newsflash: everyone has a deviated septum. Just take a second to scroll back through the first page and actually read what people are saying. It’s so easy to just log on and demand instant, detailed answers without doing any legwork... Don't be lazy about taking care of yourselves.

Oh, really? Like anyone cares about what's bugging you!! This is America, and anyone can post or ask whatever they want on this forum! Whether someone actually decides to answer those questions is a completely different story. Nobody is going to ask for your permission before they post a question here!! This thread is for EVERYONE interested in nose surgery, so let people ask what they want!

This might be slightly off-topic, though I suppose my question is tangentially related to the subject at hand, so here goes... I was wondering if any of you have ever undergone a non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal fillers (like Juvederm or Radiesse, for instance)? To be clear, I am not looking to undergo actual surgery; I don't have any breathing issues or anything of that nature, but I do have a small bump that is noticeable in profile, even though my nose looks perfectly fine from the front. So, my question is really about what the procedure is actually like—specifically, how much does the needlework hurt, and roughly what kind of price tag are we looking at? 🙂

I think you're basically just filling in a dip or smoothing out a transition, but it won't actually get rid of a bump... if that thing really bothers you, you're going to need surgery.
And honestly, trying to use something like Juvederm to lift the whole bridge just to match the height of your bump so it looks uniform? That makes zero sense.
I know those methods are used quite a bit during revision surgeries because usually the bones haven't fused yet—so you can get a nice transition down to the tip... but not for this.
I know an actor who uses that method—you should probably give a clinic in Beverly Hills a call...
They say it doesn't hurt too bad... maybe around $3 $0.00

It’s definitely going to be less painful than surgery. You can get some really lovely results, and it's actually incredibly popular over here right now, though you have to keep in mind it isn't a permanent fix because those fillers eventually break down,
but as a starting point, it's certainly a much less invasive and safer route than opting for full surgery.
