So, what's the damage for the full treatment? Like, what are we looking at for the total price?

The price really just depends on how complicated the procedure turns out to be—we're looking at anything from $10,000 up to $4333

William Robinson49 said:So, here’s my deal—I just had my surgery yesterday with Dr. Glušac down in Malibu. They wrapped things up around 10:00 PM, and I ended up crashing for an hour or so in the office while the doc finished up another patient. After midnight, he dropped me off at the hotel (staying at Osojeva’s place, which was top-tier) and walked my wife through everything, gave her some ice, and all that jazz...
I didn't get much sleep, honestly, but I felt totally fine by morning. My eyes are looking a bit bruised/blue, but the swelling isn't too bad. Around 10:00 AM, the doctor picked me up from the hotel and took me back to the clinic to pull out those sponge tampons. It doesn't actually hurt, just feels a little weird. Honestly, the whole surgery itself is painless—you don't feel a thing. Once they pulled the tampons and cleaned me up, I grabbed my gear from the hotel, settled the bill, and was back home in San Diego by 2:00 PM (about a two-hour drive, easy peasy).
The only annoying thing right now is a tiny bit of blood trickling from my right nostril—hopefully, that's just part of the process. I'm sticking to the drops and the paraffin oil.
Sunday morning I head back to get the cast removed, and then it's game over.....
That's when I'll see the final look—fingers crossed it's good. My wife caught a glimpse before the cast went on, but everything was still super swollen because the tampons kind of stretch the nostrils out. The bump is gone, though, and we'll see the rest on Sunday.

Anyway, the doctor’s vibe is great—really laid back and chill. That works for me. Some people might want more formality, but you can tell just by how he carries himself that the guy absolutely knows his stuff...
Man, I cannot wait for Sunday.

Yeah, it's pricey, but nothing hurts (for me, the worst part was just the needle for the anesthesia). Everything else was fine—just a few uncomfortable moments, but zero pain.

Maybe this helps anyone who's still on the fence...

I'm sure everything turned out great. Don't stress about Sunday 🙂 I'll probably be heading in for a check-up around then too... I'm also from San Diego 😁 Maybe we'll run into each other. Hang in there! Just expect the bruising colors to shift day by day. 😲 😢 🙄 🙂 yeah, something like that

I honestly think everything turned out just fine. There’s really no reason to be losing sleep over Sunday, is there? 🙂 I'll most likely be heading in for an exam myself... I'm from San Diego too. 😁 Maybe our paths will cross at some point... Anyway, stay strong... just watch how the colors shift from one day to the next. 😲 😢 🙄 🙂 That's about how it goes, more or less.

Thanks for all the support...
I honestly think we’re looking at some beautiful weather this Sunday, pretty much like what we've got today, which seems like the perfect excuse to get out there, clear my head, and just take a long walk along the Malibu waterfront to soak up some fresh air.😂... over coffee.

Sure, if that's how you want to play it.👍 I’d recognize you anywhere just by that gorgeous nose of yours—it's easily the best one in the whole city.😍

I'm asking again for those of us who aren't exactly close to Malibu or Dr. Glusac. 🙂

If you’d actually bothered to read the posts in this thread, you’d see everything here is based on people who’ve already had nose surgery or are prepping for it...

Even if our obsessions seem ridiculous to people who haven't dealt with this crap, most folks here aren't acting like know-it-alls or looking down on us...

"Don't nag" — the question I asked wasn't directed at you. If my anxiety is getting under your skin that much, maybe go back to the threads about women, sex, and drugs, because that seems more your speed...

You totally wrecked me 😬😬😬

Does anyone happen to know anything about Dr. Glušac? I heard he uses some really advanced techniques for nose surgery over in the States.
Actually, I'm originally from Mexico, and I've been seriously considering getting a rhinoplasty after stumbling upon his work on YouTube.
Thanks

William Robinson49..., I just finished reading about everything you went through, and honestly, my heart is so full knowing that it all went smoothly! I am truly crossing my fingers that more people start choosing Dr. Glušac for these procedures; if we can get more patients opting for his expertise, maybe we’ll see fewer people having to deal with the nightmare of repeat surgeries down the line. Just a little tip from me—grab some saline solution and use it to rinse out your nasal passages; it makes such a massive difference and should help you feel way more comfortable. We are all eagerly waiting to see you this Sunday, so please, do keep us posted!😉

Hey, sorry to just barge in here like this, but I could really use some outside perspective. Honestly, I’ve always been super self-conscious about my nose, but I could never bring myself to actually talk about it with my friends—it feels way less awkward asking people I don't know... so, if you guys don't mind, could you tell me what you think? Like, is it something worth getting surgery for? Thanks! 🙂

I have to say, I'm totally loving rustygardener172's nose. The doctor absolutely nailed it—looks incredible!!! Thanks for sharing the pics, dear. 🙂

Rachel Anderson, it’s pretty hard to judge based on one tiny little photo where we can't even see your full face. You don't have some massive hump or anything, right? What exactly is bothering you about it?
As for me—let's just say my issue is how much it drops and widens at the bottom whenever I smile. It totally ruins my look. 😁

Rachel Anderson, look, it’s kind of tough to judge based on just one tiny little thumbnail where we can't even see your whole face. You don't have any massive bumps or anything weird going on. What exactly is bothering you about it?

Man, I deal with the exact same thing with mine, except I'm annoyed by it even when I'm just sitting still... I feel like it ruins my profile too. Like, if I look straight at myself in the mirror, I actually look pretty decent, but the second I tilt my head even slightly? Ugh, nightmare fuel. 😢

So, here’s my update—I finally got the mold taken off today. I managed to catch a quick glimpse of things right before they applied the new dressings. Honestly, I didn't get much of a chance to actually look because the doctor was busy cleaning out my nose, which was pretty uncomfortable, but
it was manageable. Now that the cleaning is done, I can breathe through both nostrils again. It’ll probably clog up on me again soon, but if I stick to the drops, the oils, and the saline solution after the next cleaning, everything should hopefully be fine.
My wife was watching while they were putting the bandages back on, and she told me it looks fantastic. There’s still a bit of swelling, obviously, but I expect that’ll hang around for another week or so....

I actually ran into rustygardener172 right outside the clinic—her nose looks top-tier. It’s got that perfect feminine shape, slightly upturned, which I think is exactly what she was going for. It looks great; a little swollen, sure, but overall just excellent...
Of course, I have no idea what it looked like before, but from where I’m standing, it’s perfect now. It isn't just about the nose itself, you know? It's about how naturally it fits the rest of my face.

I’m hoping to get these bandages off by Tuesday so I can give my nose a proper, detailed inspection and share all the specifics with you guys.....

Yours is gonna be awesome too! You gotta trust the wife... if she says it looks great, then it looks great. 😉 The main thing is that she loves it. 🎉

I'm thinking about getting surgery soon, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a private plastic surgeon in Washington, D.C. who does those subtle, slightly upturned noses? To be honest, I'm not really looking for that classic straight look Glumičić suggested during my consultation—I'd prefer the tip to tilt up just a bit. I guess, would Tony Stark or John Smith be better for that kind of thing? Thanks.
