I actually saw the same doctor you did, Adam Smith77...

Could you send them to me too? Please! 🙂
I really like Glushac's work. He was my backup choice, so I'd love to see some firsthand photos.😉

I really dig how Glushac works; he was actually my runner-up, so I'm dying to see these shots firsthand.😉

Sent them over....

Hey there!... Can anyone give me the lowdown on Dr. Glushac? I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything regarding nose surgery... How do you actually coordinate things with him? Also, what’s the standard recovery time at the clinic after the procedure? And honestly, what kind of surgeon is he?

Thanks!!!🙂

Thanks so much!!!🙂

Look, no offense intended... but seriously, just scroll back through the last five pages of this thread. You’ll find pretty much every answer you're looking for right there, since that's basically all anyone has been talking about lately. I'd really love for us to stop repeating the same stuff over and over again.

I'm with you on that. If she hadn't actually read up on him here, she wouldn't even be chiming in right now, so this whole thing feels a bit weird to me—confusing, even... 🤔

There's a search function in the top right corner, here is his specific page, and honestly, you've got Google if you want to dig up any info you're missing... 🤣

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to this whole scene, so I wanted to pick the brains of the veterans here for a second. 😁

So, I've got a deviated septum, and my doctor mentioned I could go in for surgery using my insurance referral... but honestly? I’d love to get some aesthetic work done on my nose at the same time. I was wondering how much they're actually willing to do under an insurance plan—like, if I don't want to just drop a few thousand bucks out of pocket to make it look "perfect."

Do they perform the exact same procedures when it's covered by insurance as they do when someone just pays cash upfront? 🙂 😁

Thanks for any insight! 🙂

Look, it really all depends... and honestly, it's hard for anyone in this thread to give you a straight answer. Some surgeons will tack on the cosmetic tweaks during a procedure covered by insurance, but you have to be super upfront about wanting it. Technically, they shouldn't be charging you extra for the "look" part through insurance, though I've heard whispers that some doctors definitely find ways to squeeze extra cash out of people. It's totally hit-or-miss. Your best bet is to just sit down and talk to the actual surgeon who's handling your septum repair. Only they can tell you what's actually on the table. Good luck!

Susan Scott5 said:So, I actually saw Ostojic about two weeks ago. I’m pretty happy with how everything went—I slept right through the whole procedure, so I didn't feel a thing. We just focused on the aesthetics.
The swelling under my eyes was minimal, they pulled the tampons out the day after surgery, and by two days later, I was already out walking and driving (even with all the 🙄 bandages).

My nose is still a little swollen and tender if you touch it, but other than that, there wasn't really any pain, so I didn't even bother with meds. I'm satisfied with the results so far, though I'm waiting for the swelling to go down more to see the full picture; they told me it takes about two months to settle into its final shape.

Anyway, I wore the splint for 7 days, and by the ninth day, I was back at work. My face was still slightly puffy, but I looked fine enough to be out in public.

All in all, it isn't scary. It's more uncomfortable because of the splint than actually painful, but I'd recommend it to anyone.

Could you please let me know what the total cost for the procedure was? Thanks.

Kate Barnes3 said:That’s not right. The nose surgery is done by Dr. Glumicic$2667. That’s what I paid, and someone I know who just had the procedure paid the same too!

You can also get tests done at the hospital through insurance.

My mom's colleague just saw Glumicic, and the price was exactly the same $4667 including all the testing (consultations are $50). To me, her nose looks pretty, but I get the feeling it's slightly crooked on one side, even though she had the surgery almost a year ago. I mean, there's definitely a big difference from how it used to look, but I still feel like for that kind of money, he could have shaped it better. It feels like he just took off the hump and didn't bother fixing anything else.

Sarah Booth11, where have you been? You haven't been checking in with those of us who are still searching for the right doctor and are absolutely overflowing with questions. I completely understand that once surgery is over and everything goes smoothly, there isn't much need to jump back on the forum to comment, but if you could find a moment to check in, please share some photos. To everyone else who has been under the care of Dr. Glushac—please, reach out! Whether your experience was wonderful or perhaps a bit less than ideal, we need your honest feedback to help us decide which surgeon to trust. Someone mentioned earlier on the forum—I can't quite recall who—that Dr. Glushac may have had some negative outcomes with certain patients. If that person is reading this, could you please weigh in and let us know what happened? (Feel free to send me a private message if that's easier)....

I get it—once the surgery is over and everything turns out fine, there’s zero reason to come back and post on a forum. But if you do decide to pop back in, please, for the love of God, share some photos. To everyone else who has actually sat in Dr. Glushac's office—please weigh in. Give us the good, the bad, and the ugly so we can figure out who to trust. Someone mentioned earlier on here—I can't remember who—that Glushac absolutely wrecked a few girls. If that person is lurking, please speak up and tell us what happened (you can even hit me up via private message)....

Well, I’m jumping in just to say my nose still looks freaking amazing. 😍

For those of you who went to see Zgaljardic but aren't from around Santa Monica or San Francisco—where did you stay for those few days? I mean, the surgeon isn't exactly cheap, so I'm guessing you didn't shell out for some fancy hotel, right?😁

Can anyone who’s had nose surgery with Dr. Ignatovski in Madison share their experience or thoughts? I'm pretty interested in him, and looking at his website, those surgical photos look really solid—it seems like he does high-quality work. Thanks in advance... 🙂

Is it actually possible during nose surgery to have that dark skin right next to the eyes—not under them, but beside them—removed so it matches the rest of the face? Here’s a look at what I mean: http://1001-herbaltreatment.com/wp-c...nt-300x233.jpg and (I thought of Tacia because he has that same look around his eyes). So, basically, can that specific patch of skin be removed and replaced with something else? What would you even call that? How am I supposed to explain this to a surgeon? I want to swap out the skin shown in those two photos for something more like this: http://image.shutterstock.com/displa...man-847401.jpg and http://www.anygirlfriday.com/wp-cont.../Zac-Efron.jpg and http://xf7.xanga.com/0f2b231401d3226.../z16522853.jpg. Do you get what I'm aiming for? I want my skin around the eyes to match the rest of my face. Not the under-eye area, but the sides. Can someone please let me know...

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you here have undergone rhinoplasty with Dr. Glumicic—I haven't had the chance to comb through all the previous threads yet—and what your actual experiences were like? Specifically, I'm looking for details on the pricing, the recovery process, and how the nose actually looks once everything settles down.

I just stumbled upon a pretty handy little program online—sort of like Adobe Photoshop, but way more straightforward. It seems useful for anyone considering surgery who wants a rough idea of what the end result might look like. I was actually thinking about bringing some of these images to a surgeon, just so I can be crystal clear about what I'm looking for when we talk. 🙂

It's called Virtual Plastic Surgery software 2009 V1.0.Portable

So, I’ve been playing around with things a bit, but I think I messed up the tip of my nose. Still, this is basically the look I’m going for overall. Once I get a little more practice in, I'll probably take a photo to a consultation to see what they think.

And here's a picture 🙂

I’m just sitting here waiting... and waiting... but that nose isn't getting any more upturned, period. I'm holding out for results, but since the doctor said the shape would stay the same... I guess that means it won't get that lift I wanted. And I paid a fortune for that specific look.😢
And honestly, it’s not even straight. It doesn't even look like I went to a plastic surgeon—which was my whole point. It's been nearly two months now, so I probably shouldn't even hold out hope that things will change.

And here's the picture too... 🙂

I can't see the image you're trying to share—link seems broken or something... anyway, if you were trying to show me something specific, just try again. I'll be here...

Hahahah, I did the exact same thing—except my fake nose looked like something I was born with... 🤣 I see where you're going with this—I'll go along with you, except for that basket... it's just a little too sharp. 😬

Nancy Perez74 said:I’m just sitting here waiting... and waiting... but that nose isn't getting any more defined, period. I'm still waiting on the results, but since the doctor already told me the shape wouldn't change... that basically means it's not going to get that sharp look I wanted... and I paid a small fortune for this...😢
And it's not even symmetrical... honestly, it doesn't look like I even saw a plastic surgeon—which was literally my only goal here. It’s been almost two months now, and at this point, I shouldn't even be holding out hope that anything will actually change...

Dammit... 😢 I was wondering where you disappeared to. So, it's not perfectly straight? If it helps you feel any better, I've seen noses from both Zgaljardic and some truly top-tier surgeons out here that aren't just perfectly straight like a candle... they go straight for a bit, then have this little dip of maybe a few millimeters, and then the tip. 🤷
