Nose surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia. For the first few days, expect some swelling, though the pain is usually negligible. Taking arnica pellets—which you can pick up at any local pharmacy—can really help with the recovery. I also heard there's a new clinic in town that is super.

I’m planning on getting a rhinoplasty this winter because I have a bump and it's a bit too large 🙄. My mind is made up, but after reading through everyone's experiences, I’m torn between Dr. Ostojić and Dr. Munitić over at KB Merkur. Any recommendations on which one to go with? Price isn't an issue for me—I just want the job done right. Also, does anyone know if they stay open during the Christmas holidays? I'm hoping to recover enough before school starts, so I was thinking about scheduling it right before Christmas.
Thanks, ladies 🙂.

I don't even have a photo of the before, just the after. But I honestly can't figure out how to upload it 😢 it keeps telling me the file size is too big, and I have no clue how to shrink it down. I'm such an idiot 😁

A friend of mine visited Dr. Gjurić at his new clinic, and the results were honestly super. I actually caught an ad for it on TV yesterday.

Nancy Allen, what was the total cost for the surgery? And is it still possible to pay in installments?

Hey there! My mom actually opted for 6 monthly payments since that worked best for our budget at the time—the total came out to $3667. Honestly, they're pretty flexible; you could probably stretch it out much longer... I think even 20 installments or more is on the table if you need it. Look, my honest advice? Just give the Toncic clinic a call. They’ll lay everything out for you, no questions asked. I did the exact same thing—just called to grill them about the pricing—and they were totally transparent. I actually really appreciated that kind of openness!

Do you have any tips for speeding up the recovery? I’d love for the swelling to go down just a little bit more.
I’ve been bathing and massaging my nose (that's what the doctor recommended), but on some forums online, people are suggesting certain pills to help with healing and reducing inflammation. Have you heard anything about those??

Hey redridge15! Honestly, I’m not sure what would actually help you at this stage... I stuck to cold compresses—you know, that icy gel stuff—but that was right after the surgery. At this point, I think it’ll just have to settle on its own by the time the wedding rolls around! Or wait, did you already go?!?

LOL! Honestly, that's pretty cute. You can actually resize it by messing with the resolution settings... give that a shot...

Nancy Allen said:Hey redridge15! Unfortunately, I'm not sure what would help you right now... I only used cold compresses for a little while—specifically those ice gels—but that was immediately after the surgery. Honestly, I think it’ll just clear up on its own by the time the wedding rolls around! Or have you already tied the knot?!?

I haven't gone yet—it's in 4 days.
I was using compresses back then too!
Mine is still a bit swollen, even if it isn't super obvious. I'm getting through my normal routine, working at the office, exercising... everything seems fine. 👍

I am fully aware that I won't see the true results for a few months, but man, I would love to speed this process up if there's any way to do it. 🤣 🤣 🤣

frozenangler36 mentioned Arnica pellets. Does anyone actually know anything about them????
I found this description:
ARNICA MONTANA – aids in recovery following accidents, surgeries, or dental work; accelerates the healing of damaged tissue, reduces bleeding; used for hematomas, bruising, internal muscle and joint injuries, and muscle fiber issues.
Has anyone here actually tried them??

I have no clue why it didn't work, but when I just copy and paste it directly into my browser, you can actually see 🙂
Maybe someone could give it a shot and let me know if it looks alright? I guess I'm just not really a tech person, 😁
Anyway, here’s the "after" photo. Just ignore the glare on my nose—it was freaking boiling hot in here 😁

Here is the "after" photo. Just ignore the shine on my nose; it was pretty hot out. 😁

The link has to be active for it to function—meaning it needs to turn blue. What you posted is just a local file sitting on your own computer, so the rest of us can't actually see your lovely nose.
Try doing this instead:
Head over to this site:
http://www.imageshack.us
In your browser, locate your image (don't just paste the path; instead, use your browser to open your local documents, find the photo, and double-click it until the file path appears, like C:/Documents....), then hit "host it." Once you do that, a window will pop up with a link to your photo, and on the side, it should say: Hotlink for forums
Just click the address until it turns blue, then copy and paste that into your post.
That’s really all there is to it. You can't mess it up. 😁

P.S. The reason you can see the image in your browser is because it's stored right there on your hard drive, but it isn't actually live on the web yet, so nobody else can see it.

I honestly don't know if anything is actually going to show up this time?!? I already uploaded the photos to the host before, and I didn't run into any issues... I guess I just don't get what the problem is supposed to be 😢

Charles Cox, you have a beautiful nose.😍
Can someone please explain how the whole social media thing works? I'm a bit lost.😳

When I was a kid, I got into a fight and took a hit straight to the nose, which sent it completely crooked to the right. It causes some breathing issues now—like, sometimes I get winded when I'm out for a run—but if I'm being honest, I'm mostly just bothered by how it looks. I actually snapped a quick webcam photo so you guys can see

I'm 20 now, and I'm thinking about getting surgery next year to fix the deviation. Does anyone know what the typical cost is in USD, or what the whole surgical and recovery process is like? Is it still pretty much the same as it used to be?

By the way, don't mind my username; that belongs to someone else who mostly hangs out here to talk politics...

Shoot, I didn't upload this in full resolution, otherwise you could actually see it clearly...

Maybe this works better...

It’s obvious, and honestly, it’s perfect...😍😍Charles Cox👍Honestly, I think I might just go see your surgeon instead...

It’s still a bit swollen, even if you can't really tell...
frozenangler36 is asking about Arnica pellets. Does anyone actually know anything about those...

redridge15, your best bet is to just head to a CVS or Walgreens and ask for some arnica. If they don't have that specific thing, they'll definitely point you toward something else to get that swelling down fast. At least, based on the photo, your nose looks super...😉

I'm 20 now, and I’m thinking about finally getting surgery next year—specifically to fix my deviated septum. Does anyone know what the damage looks like in terms of cost (USD)? Also, what's the actual process like for the surgery and recovery? Is it still basically the same as it used to be...
QUOTE]

Prices are sitting somewhere between $1,100 and $2,200. Honestly, I think you could probably get that deviation sorted through insurance if you play your cards right. As for the surgery itself and what the recovery looks like, the girls have already covered that extensively in other threads... just do a little digging...☕

Has anyone been to Dr. Gjurić’s new clinic?

Does anyone have experience with him? I mean, isn't he an ENT rather than a plastic surgeon?

I'm still trying to decide where to go....

So, I promised I'd show my nose up close 🙂. The photo quality is pretty terrible, honestly, but you can tell I don't look like a total pig 😁.
