Hey, can someone please help me out? I made this blog post titled "7 Sins," but somehow two of them are showing up... why is that happening?
http://nathan Wilson9.blogspot.com/

How do I delete just one without losing the other? Is this some weird glitch or am I just doing something wrong? I really don't want to accidentally wipe both out with one click... please let me know if you have any advice... thanks so much!

How do I turn the emoticons back on?

So, whenever I try to quote someone, I get that text editor interface where I type my reply, but the smiley icons that used to be sitting on the left side have vanished. I must have accidentally toggled them off at some point, and now I can't figure out how to get them back. 🀷

Click. Right here. It’s like having all three houses under one roof. UI elements They really need to be checked off. If they aren't, just go ahead and check them.

And at the bottom of the thread. The text editor interface. It really needs to be set to the standard editor.

Just hit Save Changes. πŸ™‚

vividfalcon14 As I have noted before, there is an inherent complexity to this matter that often escapes the casual observer. It seems we are once again circling the same fundamental issues, much like a driver caught in the endless gridlock of downtown Los Angeles. One cannot simply overlook the nuances presented here.

I was right to be skeptical about that whole ideaβ€”the notion that you could somehow trigger smiley icons just by toggling the avatar settings seemed completely absurd to me. As it turns out, my instincts were spot on. All I had to do was switch over to the standard editor, and there they were.

I appreciate you. You're like a brother to me.

I really appreciate you looking out for me; you’re like family.

Well, there you have it. πŸ™‚

Don't mention it.

Best regards. πŸ˜‰

Since I’m still pretty much the new kid on the block here, I was wondering if anyone could clear something up for me. Is it actually okay to include personal infoβ€”like a phone number or an email addressβ€”when I'm sending someone a P.M.?
Thanks in advance

I appreciate the help.

As far as I’m aware, there isn't anything stopping you from doing that. πŸ™‚

I appreciate any help on this.

It's perfectly fine as long as you're sharing your own information.

Honestly, I’m completely lost on how this forum even works
How am I supposed to know when someone actually replies to a thread?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
What is going on, where do I go, and why does everything feel so chaotic?

When someone replies to a thread, you'll notice the subject line turns bold, and there’s an arrow right next to it that says "Jump to first new post."

How do I actually get an animation from the web into a post?
I found some cute little animations online, but I can't seem to get them to work using my usual tricksβ€”copy-paste just isn't cutting it. Someone suggested I should "save as" to my computer first, but whenever I try that, the animation just freezes and turns into a static image...πŸ˜•

Not sure there's a better way to phrase this...😳

What program are you using to open that image on your PC? I'm guessing you're trying to run it through Adobe Photoshop.
Try opening it with Windows Photo Viewer instead... that should let you view it without any issues.
Once it's open, you just upload the photoβ€”just like you would with anything elseβ€”to a site like Imgur or Flickr.

Maybe give Windows Photo Viewer a shot; it should handle the file without any issues.
As for getting the photo online, you can just upload it to Imgur, Flickr, or whatever other hosting site you prefer.

You could also just use a basic reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader. πŸ˜‰

I don't know. No one has actually explained it to me.
How am I supposed to download it?
And how does downloading even work? That was my actual question.
I just click on the image. By clicking...😳 (😁 ) It's pretty obvious I'm out of my depth here...😁😳

I have no clue what an Adobe Acrobat Reader or a photo viewer even is.😳

I honestly have no idea. You haven't really walked me through it.
How am I supposed to download it?
What’s the actual process for saving it? That’s what I was asking you all.
When I click on the image, it just opens. Is it just a simple click? It should be obvious that I'm not exactly a tech expert here...😁😳

I don't even know what Adobe Acrobat Reader or Windows Photo Viewer are meant to do.😳

Alright, let me clear this up for you; my previous comment was just a quick remark following what Joe said.

Anyway, I'm already starting to lose my patience, even though I haven't even turned in for the night yet.

For goodness sake, I'm getting frustrated again:

Look, it's simple,
you don't need to mess around with "Save As" or any of those complicated steps. Just find the animation, right-click on it, and select Copy image location. Then, go to your destination, click on the icon (you can strip out the "http://" part if you want, or just paste the whole link), and in that new window, just right-click and paste.

That's all there is to it, dear. If any of that sounds like gibberish or you just need a little extra help, give me a shout. πŸ™‚

*Just a heads up, this works perfectly if you're using Google Chrome. If you aren't, you might want to download it and give it a try.

Just right-click the animation, select Copy image location, head over to where you want it, click the icon (you can strip out the http:// part if you feel like it, or just paste it as is), then right-click and paste in the window.

That's the whole trick. If you're struggling with the basics or just need a little sugar to get through it, πŸ™‚give me a shout.

*This works assuming you're using Google Chrome. If you aren't, just download it and stick to it.

Alright, thanks...
it makes sense now..
but how do I get to the good stuff? πŸ˜‰

not on Chrome 😒
Switching over to Chrome now, then I'll be back πŸ˜‰

No, it wasn't stolen; the server just wiped it.
