Noušit? 😁
I honestly thought some user had just claimed it as their own...🙄
New question: how does that even happen—why was it deleted? It’s not like I’m obsessed with animations, I’m just wondering if I tripped some wire or if there's a specific rule at play here.. Is it different from one subforum to another? I mean, some sections are just full of those flashing, eye-straining animations...☕

Not quite. It’s more about moving from one server to another. Certain hosting providers just don't allow what people call remote linking for images or files—think along the lines of Jack, Verizon, or GoDaddy.
If you want to use an image from a site like that, you'll need to save it to your computer first and then upload it to a dedicated file host like Imgur or Flickr.
Basically, you go into Google, right-click the image, select "Save image as..." to download it to your hard drive, then head over to a site like Imgur, hit browse, grab that file you just saved, and click upload. Once the upload finishes and the code pops up, you just find the direct link that ends in .gif or .png and copy it. Then, come back here to the forum, click the icon, paste that link into the window that appears, and hit OK.
That's the whole process. 😉

Hey guys, can anyone walk me through how to set up an avatar?
The issue I'm running into is that I have this image saved in Word that’s a bit on the larger side—not massive, mind you—but I just can't seem to scale it down to a 50 by 50 size.

I finally pulled it off, though I honestly have no clue how I managed it. But now, this formatting is starting to bug me a little. Does anyone know how I can bump up the size slightly?
#206 ·
^^I’m not quite sure which software you used to resize that image, but here’s a better way: just grab the original file, scale that copy down until the minimum dimension is about 50 px wide, and then use the crop tool to snip out the part that’s bothering you—I’m guessing it’s the bottom bit. That should leave you with a clean 50x50 shot. Honestly, if you don't want to mess with it, just send the photo over to me and I'll handle it for you in a heartbeat. 🙂

That’s all there is to it. 😉
Thanks
I don't really care about those tacky, flashing graphics—I was just puzzled by why I couldn't transfer them at first, and then why they suddenly vanished... Computing is a strange world, isn't it? 🤣Sometimes I feel like Faith in New York City (which is basically like Alice in Wonderland 😉)

I'm trying to figure out how I can show off pictures of all the different items I'm looking to sell on this forum and some US classified sites, but I want everything tucked under one single link.
Right now, I've got my photos uploaded to Imgur, but every single shot has its own separate link.
So, instead of me going through the headache of copying and pasting twenty different links into an ad, I want to bundle them all together—you know, like a single album containing all the photos.
Any help?

I've got everything uploaded to Imgur, but right now every single photo has its own individual URL.
It’s such a pain to copy and paste twenty different links into one listing... I really want to bundle them all together under one roof (if that's even possible), kind of like an online photo album containing everything at once.
Help me out here.
Thanks 🙏 figured it out

Could someone please explain why an Edit button appears on my posts about a month after I've written them?
The post is already live, and I haven't attempted to delete anything, yet those little "scissors" icons just keep showing up.
I haven't received any Violations either.
Thanks so much.

I tried setting my album in my Forum signature policy by adding a "CLICK ON ALBUM" link so it wouldn't look quite so messy, but now the album won't even open. It just keeps prompting me to log in. When I leave it exactly as it is right now, anyone can view it without any issues. Does anyone happen to know why this is happening? I'd really like to figure out how to fix this and get it working properly.
Thanks...🙂
Thanks...🙂

Just enter it exactly how I laid it out for you, though go ahead and strip that asterisk from the initial URL tag.
[*URL="http://public.flickr.com/manto136/my-album/"]CLICK FOR THE ALBUM[/URL]
Hey there. 🙂

How do I go about doing this?
I mean this:
Thanks in advance 🙂
p.s. I'm a bit of a blonde 😬 and, well, maybe not the most tech-savvy person out there

Wait, are you trying to upload an image, or are you just looking to quote multiple people in one post?
#217 ·
Can I check if a moderator is racking up points toward a ban, and where exactly they list the rules regarding why someone might get banned?

I think I've got the quoting part down🙂 (🤣)
but I'm honestly not sure how to get a picture like this to show up😢
I mean, I know how to link to an image online or maybe upload something straight from my computer🙂 (🤣)

I just hit quote on someone, type my reply, cut their text, then head back to the main page. Later, when I quote a different person, I just write my response and paste that first bit right in there
It sounds like a whole ordeal, but honestly, it’s dead simple.

Is there a way to delete a thread I started myself, or is that even an option?
If it is possible, how do I go about doing it?
Also, can I just delete my entire account altogether?
