If so—how exactly does one go about doing that?

You could always ask the subforum moderator to delete the thread you started—though, I guess, they aren't actually required to do it if they don't want to.

Is there any way I can just delete my entire account?

No, you just can't.

So, you mean "screenshotting" the screen? If that’s the case, just hit the prt scr key. It’s located right above those delete, home, end keys. After that, open up MS Paint (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint) and hit ctrl+v (or Edit > Paste), and voilà—there’s your image. Then, go to file > save as. A window will pop up; just type the filename at the top, select JPEG (*.JPG, *.JIFF.....) at the bottom, and save it somewhere on your hard drive. From there, you can just upload it from your computer to the web. Though, looking at your comment, I assume you already have that part figured out 🙂. Just ask if any part of that remains unclear 🙂

George Howard24 said:Where can I check if a moderator has issued any points toward a ban?

If you pick up a strike—whether it carries points or not—you’ll automatically receive a direct message explaining who issued it, the reasoning behind it, and how many points were added (though simple warnings without points, like a yellow card, won't trigger that).
You can also always verify everything in your profile by clicking on the Violations tab.

Best. 🙂

I guess it really comes down to how you look at it, but basically, what’s the actual difference when someone picks up a yellow card versus a red one? Like, does it even matter in terms of points?

A yellow card functions as a formal warning without adding any penalties to your score, whereas a red card carries specific point deductions, say somewhere in the range of 1 to 1,000 points....

It’s pretty much the same logic you'd see during an NFL game. 🙂

Well, bless your heart for helping out (whoever you're asking) 👍
(hopefully they're an adult) 😬

I was actually just wondering what those keys above home, insert... are even for,

Thanks again,

How do I start a new thread?
I can't seem to find the button anywhere.
I managed to get one topic posted already, but now the option has completely vanished—how does that work?

I already managed to post one thread, but now the option seems to have vanished into thin air.

It’s this button right here:

If it isn't showing up, it's likely due to a few technical hiccups:

-In Google, under Tools > Options > the Content tab, you need to make sure the Load images automatically box is checked. If there's already a checkmark, you'll see an Errors button to the right. Just double-check that you haven't accidentally blocked Reddit.
If it shows up on that list, just clear it out.

-If you have AdBlock installed, make sure you haven't set it to block Reddit entirely.

😉

I could really use some help here! I’m struggling to figure out how to embed a link into my post. I saw a question about this at the top of the thread, but I’m still totally lost. Thanks in advance!

Are you a blonde? 😛

It’s pretty straightforward—think of it like moving a file from one folder to another. You just grab the URL you want (highlight it, right-click, and hit copy), come back here, click the icon, and then paste that link into the pop-up window using right-click and paste.

That's all there is to it. 🙂

If you want to clean things up, you can actually delete the "http" part that's usually pre-filled and highlighted in that little window before you save it.

See, when an expert breaks it down like that, everything just clicks. I only play the "blonde" card when it’s convenient, otherwise, I know my stuff. And, vividfalcon14, thank you so, so much!

It’s funny how things just click once someone actually explains them properly; it's like finally seeing the blueprint after staring at a pile of lumber. I only play the "clueless" card when it's convenient, but otherwise, I know my stuff. And vividfalcon14, thank you so much!

Haha, don't mention it, enjoy!! 🙂

I am reaching out because I am in desperate need of some assistance. I have tried every possible avenue, yet I simply cannot figure out how to attach a sales album to my listing; I am completely at a loss. While I am perfectly capable of inserting a single image into an advertisement, my goal is to have a permanent album displayed right next to my username, just like everyone else seems to have done. I already have the entire album set up on Flickr, but I have no idea what the next step is or how to integrate it. Thank you!

I simply cannot figure out how to attach my sales album to my advertisement, and despite my very best efforts, I am completely at a loss. I have already successfully created an album over on Flickr, but I am utterly stumped as to what the next step is or how to proceed. While I certainly know how to insert a single image into a post, my true intention is to have the entire album permanently displayed right next to my username, just like everyone else does... thank you so much!

Could this potentially be related to the specific classifieds section on Reddit?

If it isn't, then I would strongly suggest that you reach out directly to the administrators who oversee those particular advertisements. 🙂

Best regards.

I managed to pull it off. Thank you! I was actually referring to that section located beneath the divider line, where people typically leave comments or host their photo albums, if you catch my drift...

Well, now. It seems we have arrived at such a realization.
I see that everything has finally become clear to me now. 😁
I shall endeavor to refine this information into a coherent statement for you immediately, as the current format—that raw URL string—is entirely counterproductive to our purposes. The official Forum signature policy. Regarding the Reddit guidelines—specifically section 3—if I were to type out "Album," for instance, the system would simply trigger the exact same result regardless. Does that make sense to you?

Greetings to you all. 🙂

Now I understand. 😁
I will attempt to rephrase this into a single word for you (since providing the raw URL violates the Forum signature policy on Reddit, specifically rule number three). For instance, I'll simply write "Album," which should redirect you to the same destination. Does that work?

Regards. 🙂

Oh, thank you so much!!! 😘
