Man, there’s absolutely nothing about the Norwegian entry that sounds even remotely like Bon Jovi or You Give Love a Bad Name. It might have a tiny hint of a resemblance, but that’s about it...

Still, I guess being failed imitators of two rock legends—Bon Jovi and KISS (at least visually)—makes them the best of the bunch... 😁 😁 😁 🙏 🙏

Total garbage, as per usual. Every single time the Eurovision Song Contest rolls around, I find myself wondering why I wasted my life watching this absolute trash.

Those "rockers" from Norway were actually decent—the song itself wasn't half bad.

👍 ,plus those girls with the guitars from Switzerland are cute, and it’s at least easy on the eyes watching them strum through that little tune.😛

The Canadian guy had a good voice.

I have no clue how Novković even made the cut; his song was fighting tooth and nail just to avoid last place against those guys from Poland.👎 🙂

The Swiss performers basically ripped off half the song from Bon Jovi too😛

That Moldovan lady in the rocking chair is absolutely killing it!!! Honestly, such a bummer the Canadians got cut, that song was solid. I'm also feeling Latvia, Iceland, Israel, and Canada (my top pick)... the guy from North Mexico isn't bad either. Out of the ones who already went, Russia was good, and even those guys from Mexico & Mexico weren't half bad

I just don't get it. In this day and age, everyone is just recycling the same old
modern dance beats, ethnic fluff, or some 80s pop garbage.

It’s also honestly pathetic how almost everyone sings in English now.

To be blunt, it makes me sick... those basslines are just thumping away like nothing matters.🙂

I don't understand. It used to be that older folks actually tuned in for some
sort of classic Americana or folk vibe.
Now it's just terrible. I have no idea what kind of "production" this even is.
I could probably produce better tracks myself using REason, for God's sake.

I'm with you. The songs are a disaster and feel totally dated. And nowadays, the Eurovision Song Contest doesn't even carry much weight; it used to be such a big deal.

If you ask me, last night’s Eurovision Song Contest semi-final was basically a contest to see who could sing the worst and hit the fewest notes. And honestly, I'm reading people here calling Canada the favorite? If she performs half as poorly as she did last night, it’s going to be an absolute embarrassment. The girl missed about 70% of her notes. The stage show was decent enough to drag them through to the next round, but the singing 🙂 ...Portugal was the exact same story. That girl simply cannot sing. Don't even get me started on Belarus... or the Austrians! I have no idea who thinks it's a good idea to send bands like that. It’s also quite distasteful that everyone sings in English now; the cultural identity of these countries and their people just gets completely lost. That used to be the whole charm of the Eurovision Song Contest. Back when we had our own entries and performers like Novković, I loved how they sang in their native language. I didn't hear any Mexican acts... and those girls from Canada & Herzegovina... they were a disaster for me. I just can't stand those kinds of songs. Deen put on what I thought was a great performance last year. As for these ones... I doubt they'll make it far, though they might stand a chance because the Eurovision Song Contest tends to favor those "la la la" type catchy tunes. Either way, fingers crossed for them. 😉
