Back then, I didn't even really get the point of what happened... things finally clicked for me later on.

And honestly, I'm not the type to swallow everything served up in some American movies hook, line, and sinker. But in Pulp Fiction, Travolta’s character buys something (coke?) and the dealer warns him that while the stuff he's holding is pure, the stash he was keeping wasn't, and then she overdoses..
It's not like the situation is impossible or totally unrealistic. Sometimes even in movies, things are portrayed pretty accurately.

He didn't buy heroin; she just thought it was white powder.

First, I tried drawing a line on my nose, but they gave me such a tiny amount it wasn't even worth the effort. Why bother?

So, a buddy from Mexico flew in a few days ago with some absolute nonsense. I ended up drawing a hard line in the sand, but looking back, maybe I shouldn't have been so quick to shut it down. One day, I just walked up to him and said, "Man, I totally saw through your bullshit."😬

I was just there, mid-session, crushing lines when my buddy—rest his soul—headed out to grab some coke. He comes right back, though, only to hand me what turned out to be nothing but modeling clay.😁

Man, forget it. What am I even gonna do with that? I’m not about to have a stroke over this... honestly, who gives a damn? Just go ahead and grab me a gun at the pharmacy if you're so worried.😬

And so it begins. (By the way, I’ve been high on everything from '93 until now.)

So, I finally ditched the needles and switched over to smoking heroin. It’s mostly just chasing that dragon now, maybe a little bump here and there just to catch a quick flash.😁

I can't stand pulling on my nose. It honestly makes me want to gag.🤮

I’m shaving here and there—mostly to clean up before hitting the slopes, or just because I miss those good old days when things were simpler.😳

I gotta be honest, I’ve never touched horse tranquilizers, and I have zero intention of starting. I get hooked on bad habits way too easily. Honestly? I'm terrified that if I tried it, I'd actually like it too much.

It does. A friend of mine was 28 when his CT scan came back. To quote the report: "changes atypical for age and prior health status." His doctor told him his brain looked like that of a 70-year-old.

Even then, he wasn't even using heavily or acting out. But there were ten years behind him—four of those spent in heavy use, including stretches where he was hitting four grams a day.

Honestly, there isn't even any point in debating this topic at all...🙂
