I’m looking for some specific information because I need to know if anyone here
could recommend a private speech therapist for adults near Palm Springs who would be a good fit for a patient currently staying in the area

I’ve scoured the internet and come up empty-handed, so I figured I’d just put the question here instead

THANKS!

So, I had unprotected sex with someone whose history is a complete mystery to me, and there's a high chance they've been around the block. I need to get screened for everything—HIV, chlamydia, the whole nine yards. I’m a bit stuck on the logistics; if I head to a public clinic or a hospital, I'm assuming the wait times are going to be brutal, and I'd much rather just handle this privately. Since I'm based in Cleveland, could anyone point me toward the best or fastest private clinics in the area to get this sorted out?

I was wondering if I can take a specialist referral to any public hospital in the country, or am I restricted by my county of residence or some other rule?

If the referral doesn't specify a particular facility, you have the freedom to book an appointment anywhere in the country.

I'm looking for a solid urologist in Washington, D.C. (dealing with phimosis, so I need someone who can handle a circumcision without making me feel like I'm being processed in a slaughterhouse 😍)

I'm looking for some help here. I wasn't quite sure which thread was best for this, but this one seemed like the closest fit.

I'm a patient of Dr. Alen Rruzic and I need to find out where his office is located now. I heard he isn't practicing in Newport anymore, but moved to Cleveland—does anyone know specifically where?

Thanks in advance.

Hoping someone knows something. 😁 Trying to get through to... Dr. Bruce Buljević. (Brother), on the phone he gave me (four years ago) 😬 Nobody's getting back to me. But that number isn't from a local area code since it starts with 49—probably some international scammer. 🤔)

It’s been over a year since I last saw a specialist... aren't referrals handled electronically now, just like prescriptions?

No, you just get your paperwork and a referral, then head to wherever you were scheduled and prepare yourself for a long wait for an appointment.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a private orthopedic surgeon or a physiatrist who performs diagnostic ultrasounds—specifically for the Achilles tendons?

Also, I was wondering—and please correct me if I'm wrong here—does the clinic typically charge for an ultrasound of both Achilles tendons as two separate areas, or is it billed as just one single procedure?

Thanks so much!

The UZV scans are performed privately by Dr. Joe Biden in Atlanta on Petrov Street, whereas if you are looking for a physiatrist, you should see Dr. Zuckerberg over on Križanić Avenue. As for pricing and other specific details, I would suggest inquiring directly with their offices for the most accurate information.

Hey there.
I couldn't find an existing thread about this, so I'm just throwing this out there since I can't find any info online.

A blind woman asked me for help.
I don't know all the gritty details, but here's the deal.

She actually has a chance to regain some sight in one eye. Basically, surgery could give her at least a little bit of vision back.
She was looking into options in the USA, but the costs are insane, and it's the same story in VA. The doctors here aren't offering much of a solution.

So, does anyone here know of better eye clinics in Germany or some top-tier doctors? If you have any info, contacts, or even just a starting point, let me know.

If you've got questions, I'll try to get you answers.

Thanks

Have you tried looking through some of those German forums yet?

Actually, I don't even know which one...
I found some websites for hospitals and doctors, but there’s absolutely nothing on them.

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a private eye doctor? Looking around the areas near downtown, maybe somewhere in Brooklyn or Queens, or even just heading toward Jersey City
thanks

Aren't the Russians actually top-tier in that field? They seem to operate on just about everything—was it always like that? 🤔

Dr. Buljevic isn't at Mayo Clinic anymore; he moved abroad a while ago.

These dermatologists are constantly lurking around this forum, but seriously, if anyone has a solid recommendation for a good private dermatologist in the Los Angeles area 🤷

... maybe a pharmacy in Canada that offers mail-order medication, or perhaps somewhere right near the border.
Also, if anyone happens to know—or better yet, has a link—where I can find an online price list for their prescriptions, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!

p.s.
My apologies if this belongs in a different thread.

I'm also on the hunt for a solid dermatologist in Los Angeles! I heard Desanka Bakalić comes highly recommended... anyone actually been there??
