If you're looking for a solid dentist in Chicago, I’d highly recommend the clinic run by Dr. Jadranka Štefanac-Papić—it’s right near Pike Place Market, I think it's on Ilica 3. Honestly, everyone there is super pleasant to deal with and they make sure you don't feel any pain at all, though I should mention it can get a little pricey: $100for a single tooth, it might be around $500 if things are really bad, and a standard cleaning is about $133.

From what I’ve gathered, they pretty much charge you a flat rate per tooth, regardless of how big the tooth actually is or how massive that cavity turned out to be.

Send me your numbers via DM
pleaseee
Just don't charge an arm and a leg—I'm currently auditing my root canal costs
And seriously, stay away from that state medical school. Some of those professors there really deserve a good smackdown. Total jerks!

If you head over to www.drstolar.com, you can find all the important stuff like their phone numbers, business hours, and even a map showing exactly where the clinic is located.

In NYC - Dr. Erik, near Pike Place Market. He's great—really kind and gentle.

I’ve been to see her. It wasn't bad, but she’s incredibly expensive.

She did ozone therapy on four of my teeth and it cost me over $333.
Plus, one of my fillings fell out—one she had done using the standard method—but she replaced it for free.

What's your take on her?

By the way, there was a robbery at her office recently. Someone snatched a patient's purse right out of the waiting room.

Anyone here dealt with Dr. Zarkovic over in Austria, or maybe Dr. Zuric - Domagojeva?

I’m planning on switching up my doctor here in Seattle starting next year.

I'm looking for some solid recommendations—who's actually worth seeing, where should I go, and what makes them the best?

P.S. Does anyone know the specific timeline for making the switch, like when the actual medical record transfer happens?

I am open to your recommendations—who, where, and why they would be the best fit.

P.S. What are the specific dates for this transition, specifically regarding the transfer of medical records?

I'm curious—what's the reason for the change?

It’s been like this for years now, anytime you want!
Whenever you pick out a new one, just ask if they're down to take you on, and they handle the whole digital transfer in a flash.
You don't even have to see the old one!

If you're looking to switch primary care doctors, I can't recommend Maja Matijašević enough—she’s based over at the clinic in Skurinje. I’ve been seeing her since I was in elementary school, and she is honestly phenomenal. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, will get you whatever prescription or specialist referral you need, and is just a genuinely kind person. I think they've updated the rules so you can keep your medical records active year-round now, though I'm not 100% certain on the specifics. Best of luck!🙂

I highly recommend Dr. Nikolic. His office is located in the Transadra building, right by the side entrance near Pike Place Market. Since it's right in the heart of downtown, it’s always convenient regardless of where you're coming from.
Dr. Nikolic is an incredible diagnostician—honestly, there have been countless times where I didn't even need to show up in person because we sorted everything out over the phone. He's fast, there's never a massive crowd, and people absolutely love him because he actually has a sense of humor and doesn't take himself too seriously. He really is an exceptional doctor, and his nursing staff is top-notch too. My only gripe is that his sister is the only one who can draw my blood without leaving my entire forearm swollen and bruised.🙄Another plus is their schedule; blood work is done between 8:00 and 9:30 AM. A lot of other clinics make you go in at 6:00 or 7:00 AM, which is way too early for me.

So yeah, I'm recommending him from the bottom of my heart.🙂

I just caught this segment on TV about dentists using ozone therapy for treatments. I actually have a tooth that needs some work (😬), but I’m not really sure where to find a dentist in Chicago who does that—or if it’s just private practices charging a premium for it. Does anyone happen to know anything about this?

Thanks!

Ugh, that’s exactly what I was dreading... now everyone’s going to go running to the dentist asking for Healozone, and prices are just going to skyrocket through the roof.😠 Seriously, screw Explosive and those sensationalist news reports of theirs... 😁
But look, if it’s actually true that you can treat deep cavities or even skip root canals using ozone instead of drilling everything down, then that is legitimately revolutionary stuff!👍
Any dentists lurking on this sub? If you're still hanging out here, please, could you walk us through how Healozone actually works? Like, give us the full breakdown👍 on the pros and cons compared to the old-school drilling method we're all used to...

So, does anyone here actually use Google?

Man, it’s wild how easily people fall for anything these days.🙄

What are you even talking about? It's science! Ozone is proven to wipe out up to 99.9% of bacteria if you just let it sit on your teeth for 20 to 30 seconds...

When you're dealing with early decay on the crowns or near the roots, you can often halt the process just by using remineralizing agents or applying pit and fissure sealants. As for whether ozone therapy actually offers any extra edge? We don't really have the proof yet. It's one of those areas where additional Studies should be Dona as outlined by The Nica. Interestingly, KaVo mentioned they're currently ramping up more research, expressing hope that the relevant authorities might take a look at these new results ahead of their planned 2008 review [1].

I mean, I'm no expert on whether ozone is actually any good or not—I guess—but if it’s strong enough to be dangerous to people, then maybe it can take out viruses too. 😁
