Taylor Mendoza10 said:1. I need a recommendation for a neurosurgeon specializing in the lumbar spine—ideally in Chicago or San Diego.

2. Should I commit to neurosurgery in San Diego (I'm local to the area) or head to Chicago? What are the actual perks of a major hub like Chicago? Or should I just stick to what's close to home?

Chicago—specifically the Mayo Clinic—without a doubt!
The Paladino team and their crew are top-tier (speaking from experience); I’d definitely put Stančić in that same elite category! He actually maintains his own site where you can send an inquiry directly: http://www.stancic.eu/marin/hr/kontakt.html

Jeffrey Lee10 said:At the Mercury hospital in Chicago on Petrov Street, Dr. Lidija Erdelez is an extraordinary physician. She exceeds every possible standard—from her technical expertise to her pleasant communication style. I truly cannot find a single flaw in her work.
I have twice as much experience as most, so my opinion carries weight. I didn't rely on connections or money to see her; I simply heard about the hospital on the radio while driving and decided to go. I have never experienced anything quite so wonderful in my life.

Jeffrey Lee10, thank you very much. 👍

Thanks in advance!

Just speaking from experience here—if you're actually in pain, your best bet is probably the ER. Everywhere else, you'll be looking at at least a two-week wait.

I'm looking for a dermatologist around the San Jose area. Ideally, I'd like to see someone privately, but I'm definitely open to recommendations for doctors who take insurance referrals too. 😁If you think it's a good one.
It's all about acne.

I’ve had person and person recommended to me in San Jose, and I was wondering if anyone here has worked with either of them? If you have any quick feedback or experiences to share, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Thanks. Isn't person more suited for head issues?

Can someone please tell me which hospital in Washington, D.C. (that isn't private) handles bone X-rays? I went to person, but they told me they don't even do bone X-rays anymore...

Perhaps trauma?

I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a GP, a dentist, and a gynecologist at the health clinic over on Griess Street—ideally, I’d love to find a group that all works the same shift.

I just moved into the neighborhood and need to transfer my medical records and doctors over there. If you can't share publicly, feel free to shoot me a DM. Thanks in advance.

Anyone got a lead on a solid audiologist? Or maybe a clinic with a decent audiology center... doesn't matter if it's private or through some local hospital system, just need some info. Anything helps, thanks

You should probably check out the Census Bureau in Washington, D.C. You just need a referral from your doctor.

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for an orthopedic surgeon who actually knows their stuff? I’m looking for someone who is obsessively dedicated to their craft and has access to real diagnostic and interventional equipment—not just some guy running a tiny one-room private practice in a strip mall.
Ever since my nerve damage from a neck injury years ago, my shoulder muscles have been atrophying and the pain is absolutely brutal (you can probably tell by how many hours it's taking me just to type this out)
I went to see what they call the "top specialist" in town—person at person—and after a ridiculously expensive ten-minute consultation, he basically told me, "You aren't a candidate for surgery because you can still move your arm. My advice? Just don't strain it. Therapy might help, but it won't do much. Thanks, bye." He didn't even bother looking at my MRI until I practically demanded it, and even then, he spent maybe twenty seconds glancing at it.

I am looking for recommendations for a reliable ophthalmologist through my insurance provider. It is quite urgent; I have been traveling all the way to Chicago for appointments, but my semi-rigid contact lens just cracked. I want to transition to soft lenses instead... does anyone know a specialist who actually takes the time to provide proper consultation?

Hey everyone
I could use some help here. Does anyone know where I can find the best, most professional diagnostic services in San Francisco? Specifically, I’m looking for a top-tier abdominal ultrasound and an accurate diagnosis. Honestly, I just want the highest quality care possible, regardless of what the bill looks like.
Thanks much

I was wondering if anyone could share their thoughts on Dr. Fauci ( Link ). I've been thinking about getting my vision corrected, and after browsing through a few different forums, it seems like he comes highly recommended. I’d really appreciate it if anyone here had heard anything or perhaps had some personal experience to share?

A psychiatrist or neuropsychiatrist would work too. Which clinic is considered the leader in that field in NYC?

I'm on the hunt for a really solid dermatologist up in San Francisco, so if anyone has a go-to person they actually trust, I'd be super grateful for the recommendation... 😉

The Rebro hospital system houses a dedicated clinic for psychological medicine.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent general practitioner in the Washington, D.C. area? I’m looking for someone reasonable—someone who won't give me a hard time about processing referrals or sending me off for diagnostic tests and various specialists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂
