So, I went in the other day because I had this nasty inflamed patch of skin (even though my tooth was totally fine)... he cleaned it all out for me and gave me some advice on what to pick up at the drugstore that wasn't just a heavy antibiotic... anyway, by the second day, I was feeling pretty awesome🙂>

What did he end up recommending to you?

Well, it actually calmed down! Like, by the second day, talking was still a little rough, but the swelling had already gone down by like half...

If I remember right, the results are ready the same day by 3:00 PM—they'll shoot them over via fax or email if you ask.👍

I showed up at his office feeling absolutely wrecked—total mess with a pinched nerve in my neck and some nasty degenerative stuff going on there too—but seriously, I feel like a whole new person now.

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone actually competent?

Ideally, I'm looking for someone I can see privately to get everything handled in one go—I really don't have the patience to spend months dragging myself from one hospital clinic to another.

From what I've been digging up online, most of the names popping up seem to be focused almost exclusively on cosmetic surgery...

I’ve been seeing Dr. Sonja Kapor for about five years now, and honestly, she is an absolute gem; while she can be a bit particular about her ways, her methods have always proven to be incredibly effective. 😉
Isn't it true that she only practices out in San Francisco? I'm just not quite sure where you're located right now. 🙂

Regarding hospitals, I’d suggest going to Šalat; it seems to be the oldest ENT clinic in the country. About a year and a half ago, I had sinus surgery there. Dr. Jurlina was absolutely wonderful. Beyond being an expert, he has a great bedside manner. Just be aware that you'll wait about three to four weeks for a consultation, and if it isn't an emergency, expect a two-month wait for surgery.

I’m thinking about heading over to the clinic in Brooklyn—so, just a heads-up for anyone interested—they actually allow you to get checked out during the afternoon hours there; it's quick, handled by appointment, and you just pay on the spot.
Of course, I haven't even managed to squeeze that into my schedule yet! 😵

I’m just praying I don't get hit by another nasty bug before I can actually get those exams finished—winter is barely even starting, and I've already been stuck on antibiotics twice!

So, I finally bit the bullet and decided it was high time for a dental checkup after what feels like an eternity. I was actually planning on hitting up Simonica since my folks have been going there forever, but it looks like the guy’s totally out of business—office is gone, nothing left. Does anyone out there know a solid dentist who also pulls double duty as a surgeon (knock on wood, hopefully I don't need that), someone with a top-tier, fully loaded practice? I'm talking modern tech, like on-site X-ray machines, a massive range of services, and most importantly, a veteran who’s seen just about everything under the sun.

Looking for some recommendations... I heard Alice is solid...
