You’ve gotta check out this amazing dentist over at the local community health center! They're using this wild new ozone technology to treat cavities without any drilling or pain involved. I actually went in myself recently and was honestly blown away by how easy it was. If you want to give them a shout, their number is 3028 464.

If you just need a basic dental fix, go see Dr. Klesin at the local community health center—seriously, highly recommend!
For anything cosmetic, well, if you’ve got money to burn, it’s even easier... but I won't name names here, I'm sure someone's already pointed you in the right direction.

Look, I’ll give you the real scoop since I actually live with the guy who started this thread. He pretty much covered the basics, but here's my two cents: for me, the teeth didn't even react to external stuff—I could eat sweets or switch between hot and cold drinks without a single twinge. The problem was that the pain was radiating through my entire jaw, so I couldn't pinpoint which specific tooth was the culprit. It was most brutal when I was just sitting still, especially at night. Then, after my "world-renowned" dentist drilled into three different teeth trying to find the source (and guess what? it still hurts), now my wisdom tooth has started acting up whenever I try to chew something
(basically, anytime I bite down). So yeah, I'm officially done with that dentist before she manages to wreck my entire mouth. I'm not looking for medical advice here, just a solid recommendation for a decent dentist. I already spotted two names mentioned, Dr. Ivanković and Dr. V. Vuković, so if anyone has actually been in their chairs, let me know how it went! Thanks everyone, and a huge shoutout to my roommate for kicking this whole thing off!

From what I can gather just by looking at the office, they seem to be doing solid work, and honestly, the prices don't look outrageously high.
For instance, they have one of those intraoral cameras where they show you your teeth on a small monitor right in front of you—kind of like having a little TV screen. They use it to point out exactly which tooth is causing trouble and walk you through what kind of damage we're looking at. I’ll admit, seeing your own dental issues up close like that is pretty unsettling, to say the least, but you can tell just by the quality of their equipment that they really know their stuff...
If my memory serves me right, he mentioned that fixing a single tooth would run somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 to $50.
I’d say just give them a call and ask; you really don't have anything to lose by checking...

Does anyone have a link, an address, a phone number, or anything at all for a solid psychiatrist? Ideally a female practitioner, and I'm looking for someone in private practice here in the US... Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A friend of mine went over to see Gruden and says he’s actually really good, plus he isn't even that pricey. Maybe you should look into it? I don't have his number handy, but I think he's located somewhere over on Petrov Street.

It really depends on what kind of mess you're dealing with. Every psychiatrist is basically a specialist in their own way—some just happen to focus more on certain issues because that’s where they spend all their time studying or because they see a ton of patients with those specific problems. You've got some who live and breathe addiction and alcoholism, others who are all about phobias and anxiety, and then there are the ones deep in the weeds with stuff like schizophrenia.
If you want a solid recommendation, you gotta specify what's actually going on with you. Even then, there's no guarantee you won't clash with them. It’s a super individual thing. Just like how you might love some people while everyone else can't stand them.

Exactly. What's the point of a referral or a bunch of sessions if you can't actually build that sense of trust and connection with the doctor? Though, obviously, you don't want to get so attached that you can't function without them. The strength comes from you... they're just there to help you find it.

A friend of mine went last week. He’s been struggling with depression, so his mother sent him to talk to someone. Naturally, she's footing the bill. A single session—just a quick check-in—was about $30. I can't recall the psychiatrist's name offhand, but I could look it up.

Around here, you’re looking at paying $67 (about $300 for that initial consultation and session) for a private psychologist, while psychiatrists end up being even more expensive.

Hmm, I actually went to this center for at-risk youth up near the British Consulate area once.
It’s pretty great that they’re right in downtown, so everything is super easy to get to. 👍
