Hi, I heard that Dr. Marković is doing great work over at Pješčan uvala. Personally, I had a bridge done by Dr. Šujević at Nobileov, though that was probably 17 or 18 years ago, and honestly, my teeth still feel just as good as the day they were put in.

Hey there.
I was wondering if anyone here has been to this Dental Clinic for a procedure with Dr. Ivanišević. I’d love to hear about your experience and if you were actually happy with the service they provide. My brother is getting ready for a hydrocele surgery with him, and I heard they perform it under local anesthesia so he can head home the very same day...
Thanks in advance for any info.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Marković at the Pješčan uvala clinic for years now. He’s great—very professional and does a solid job. His only real quirk is that he tries to strike up a conversation while he’s actually working on your teeth. It’s a bit awkward since you can’t exactly give him a coherent answer with your mouth wide open, but other than that, he’s excellent.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Čatović—he’s truly top-tier. He completely fixed up my teeth and the fillings have been rock solid; they haven't budged once! It really feels like he stands behind his work with a genuine guarantee. Plus, his clinic is super convenient, right across from the arena.

Wondering if they’re super expensive...

Got some kind of infection going on, but my doctor is out on vacation. Apparently, nobody else can write me a referral, and I need one for a urologist at the local clinic. If I go through the usual channels, I'll be stuck waiting months just to get seen and get more referrals sent over... it's a whole cycle...😠

Honestly, I'd rather just see a private urologist, but I have no clue if the costs are insane...

Probably some fungal issue, so I definitely need an exam and some diagnostics...

Anyone been through this?

I think this topic might have come up before, but I can't seem to find anything specific to my situation. I have varus feet—they turn inward—and I've been weighing surgery for a long time. The methods they tried on me when I was a kid weren't just useless; they were honestly absurd. Later, when I actually looked into getting surgery, the orthopedic surgeons seemed pretty indecisive. It felt like they were mostly just after the money. No offense intended, but that’s really how it felt. A few years ago, I had some custom computer-molded orthotics made, which helps a little. The pain has gone down, but it isn't a fix. I'm worried things will just get worse over time, so surgery is back on the table. Now I have to go back to those doctors, and I dread even thinking about them.
So, if anyone knows anything, please help me out. My questions are: who is the best foot specialist? Has anyone here gone through, or known someone who went through, a similar procedure? I'm wondering about satisfaction levels, the recovery pain, and how long the whole thing actually takes. If any of you dealt with this exact issue, how did you handle it? My previous doctors weren't exactly helpful with answering questions; they acted like typical arrogant jerks. So, please help.😢🙂

Let me jump back into this topic for a second...

I’m actually in need of a solid dermatologist myself—specifically for some skin tags.
So far, I've heard nothing but good things about the Dental Clinic near Pod zid, and there's also one specialist (Dr. Gregorić-Mateša) who comes highly recommended, though you have to wait an absolute eternity to get an appointment with her.

Is there anyone out there who is considered the absolute gold standard for skin tags? Like, the top-tier dermatologist everyone points to? I'm looking for someone with that kind of reputation.
Also, moderators, if you could merge these threads, that would be great—I found a few more similar ones using the search tool.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for something similar, but specifically for a dermatologist in Seattle. I’m dealing with some hair issues right now—specifically thinning and hair loss. Please hit me up with recommendations or contact numbers...

I’d suggest checking out the clinic in Šalat (specifically Dr. Roman Čeović) or Dr. Jadranka sokol, who practices right inside the Črnomerec Health Center (she checked my moles there just three weeks ago). You can see them if you have a referral.

My experience—and the experience of several friends who recommended her to me—has been nothing short of stellar with Dr. Jadranka Markušić in Opa (her office is on the main drag at 110 Marsal Tit, right above a travel agency, I think it was Compass). I haven't encountered a physician quite like her. She's an older woman with incredibly deep knowledge and diverse interests; she stays current with global trends. She doesn't just scribble down prescriptions; she looks at the whole picture. Her treatments often include dietary changes and various other methods that might not seem "dermatological" at first glance, but they are long-lasting... much like the results themselves. Even the most unusual cases seem to resolve under her care.
If I lived closer—and I'm based in Washington, D.C.—she would be my only choice. 👍👍👍

I'm dealing with hair loss issues—who would you recommend? Is Mario Gligora any good for that? I've also heard about Dr. Markušić from Opa; apparently, she’s top-tier. By the way, isn't Katalinić working over at Medica?

This is just a copy of my previous post from the "Good Dermatologist" thread:

I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences—not just personally, but with friends who recommended her too—with Jadranka Markušić in Opa (she has an office on the main street at 110 Marsal Tit, right above a travel agency I believe is Compass). I haven't encountered a doctor quite like her... she's an older woman with incredibly broad interests and education, someone who stays completely current with global trends. She doesn't just scribble down a prescription and send you on your way; she takes a holistic approach to every issue. Her treatments often include dietary changes and various other methods that might seem "non-dermatological" at first glance. The therapies are long-term, much like their results, and she handles even the most bizarre cases with incredible success.
If I lived closer—I'm coming from Washington, D.C.—she would be my only choice.

As for pricing, I know she was very reasonable. A consultation once cost about $67, and she spent as much time as necessary...

Lisa Wells65 said:I think Dr. Basta Juzbašić over at the Šalat clinic is wonderful. If you prefer private practice, I'd recommend Dr. Ceković at Pod zid 10.

The first mention of Dr. Basta!
What has your experience been like with her??
I started seeing her about a year ago, mostly trying to deal with acne scarring—I'm currently just waiting for her to refer me for laser treatment.

I’ve heard good things about Liljana Skrinjar over at the Laginjina 16 Health Center. She works through Medicare. I haven't personally gone to her, but a friend of mine had her face done by her and the results were actually really lovely.

Does anyone here happen to have any firsthand information regarding Dr. Duško Maletić in Denver? Specifically, I am looking for anyone who has undergone surgery with him or perhaps knows someone who has. I am currently considering scheduling a procedure with him, and I would truly appreciate hearing some honest feedback regarding his surgical skills and his general bedside manner with patients. Thank you.

What kind of scope are we even talking about here? Like, you're saying it's totally fine to get a nose job from Glumičić, but suddenly it's a terrible idea to let him touch your eyelids...

Generally speaking, I am curious about his overall surgical skill and clinical approach, regardless of the specific procedure. I haven't had much opportunity to hear direct feedback regarding his work. So, if anyone here has undergone a rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, or any other surgery performed by him, please share your experience. 🙂 As for Glumičić, I have personally heard from several individuals that he isn't particularly skilled when it comes to breast procedures, though I recognize there are those who remain satisfied with his results.

I recently moved to the DZ Dugav area and want to switch to a local doctor at the DZ Dugav health center. Can anyone recommend a good physician who is currently accepting new patients? Thanks.

I'm looking for some recommendations for a primary care doctor, a dentist, and a gynecologist in the Washington, D.C. area—specifically around the Downtown district—since I'm moving soon.

Thanks for any info 🙂
