Olivia Hughes74 said:What kind of stuff do you guys actually get done at the dermatologist? Is he the guy to see if I want to have a mole removed?

You could go to a dermatologist, or you could head to a plastic surgeon...

Top notch. You just have to book ahead; the wait times can be a bit long.

So, cosmetic stuff costs extra, right? But what about a dermatologist? Can I run that through Medicare?

Dr. Ivanišević is a total fraud. That clinic has been in bankruptcy for ages, yet he’s still out here operating under the table. If you actually decide to go through with treatment from him, though, good luck to you. Cheers.

My doctor never did any pre-ordering, so I'm a bit lost on how this works. Like, if someone feels sick and needs an exam or a sick note—I guess you can't just push that off to some other day, right? 😕

I just seriously need to vent some of this joy to someone somewhere!..🙂
Honestly, I’ve had nothing but terrible luck with dentists for the longest time. It was always one of two things: either their work was just subpar quality, or I ended up in so much pain afterward that my mouth would be swollen and throbbing... you know how it is.🙄

But finally, I actually found a couple of dentists (yes, two of them!) who managed to actually cure my fear—and let me tell you, it was straight-up panic before—of that dreaded dental chair, and I am genuinely thrilled with the results they delivered.

Hallelujah!🙏

Has anyone ever gone to Dubravko Sven Flegar at his office on Draškovićev 23 in Washington, D.C.? I was browsing his website, and honestly, the prices seem pretty reasonable, plus the clinic looks really well-equipped. I'm in desperate need of a private dentist right now because I'm just so unhappy with my current provider through Medicare—they actually cracked one of my teeth while drilling, and now I urgently need to get a crown put on it. If anyone has other recommendations for a dentist in Washington, D.C., maybe around the Trnje area, near Savska Street, Knežija, or Downtown...

Thanks so much in advance.

Hello

I am currently searching for a psychologist or psychiatrist located in Denver who offers private psychotherapy sessions.

I have already reached out on Psychology Today, but since I haven't received any responses there, I thought perhaps I might find some helpful leads here instead.

I would be truly grateful for any information or recommendations you might be able to share.

I'm also on the hunt for a solid dentist—ideally somewhere Downtown or close to the heart of the city.

The main thing for me is the aesthetic side of things; I need someone who does high-quality work, not some sloppy, rushed job.

Please send any recommendations my way—feel free to post them here or just shoot me a DM.

I'm looking for recommendations for a high-quality dentist who actually cares about doing things right rather than just rushing through appointments—I don't mind going to a private practice.

Thanks!

I could really use some assistance here
I’m trying to track down the name of a private wellness clinic located in Orlando. I can't quite recall the exact title, but it focuses on healthy living. The owner is a pharmacist, and he was recently featured on a segment of *Latinica*. His last name starts with a "B," and he was actually interviewed on NBC in *Rolling Stone* just last night. From what I gathered, he's in the process of launching a new facility backed by foreign investors in a suburb near Tampa

If anyone knows, please let me know
Thank You

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid gynecologist in Chicago who takes standard insurance? I’m looking for someone you guys actually trust and feel comfortable with. I’ve been seeing a doctor near Lincoln Park lately, and honestly, the experience has been pretty terrible, so I really want to switch providers. Thanks in advance for any leads!

I’m looking for a solid dermatologist in Washington, D.C., to deal with some moles and skin growths. I tried calling Dr. Falcon, but her next opening isn't until mid-student! Any recommendations? It needs to be someone who takes insurance. Thanks!

That chiropractor near the National Mall, the American one...
Is he actually any good compared to the rest of them?

I need some recommendations!

So, I just moved to New York City recently. Does anyone actually know how the whole process works when you're transferring between cities? Like, what does the paperwork look like? I’m looking to see a private doctor who accepts Medicare. It’s kind of urgent, thnx

P. S. Actually, if anyone knows an ultra-efficient private doctor who *doesn't* take Medicare, I'm open to that too. As long as they're super-duper good. Thnx

I’m looking for some recommendations here. Also, does anyone happen to know if the paperwork can be transferred automatically via mail between doctors—like, from my current one to the new one once I move? Basically, how does that whole procedure actually work? Thnx

So, when you’re looking to switch doctors, the first thing you've gotta do is—well, you have to ask the new one if they’ll actually take you on as a patient first!

Then, they issue this official confirmation that you basically hand over to your old doctor, and only *then* does the old doc finally release all your medical records.

Once you've got those papers in hand, you lug them over to the new clinic. Honestly, it would be so much better if

they could just handle everything via mail or some digital system, but hey, that's just how the bureaucracy works for now.

is this chiropractor actually any better than the rest?

hey! 👋

I'm not sure if you still need one, but I've heard they're decent—they just have a slightly different vibe than your "standard" chiropractors. They tend to be a bit more gentle and less aggressive.

I think there are a few threads floating around here about chiropractors; you should be able to dig up some recommendations (people kept telling me to go to that place uptown near the Upper West Side, but luckily I didn't end up needing them).

Anyway, I've had some issues with a ligament—the kind of thing you get at a major sports complex—ever since I took a nasty spill last year and wrenched my leg. There are two guys over there who handle stuff like that—honestly, they're great.

I’m looking for a solid—really solid—general practitioner on the East Side, somewhere around Queens or Brooklyn, maybe near the outskirts
The main thing is that they actually understand complex pathologies (since I'm dealing with an autoimmune condition)—I need someone who won't lecture me about things they clearly don't grasp—and hopefully, the wait times aren't absolutely soul-crushing.

Awesome. Thanks so much.

Now, if anyone's feeling generous, I could really use some recommendations. 🙂
