I heard about this new Dentist place over on Hebrang, near 26th Street. Apparently, they use tech with 4x less radiation and the shots are crystal clear, but it costs $67.
Has anyone actually been there? Any recommendations? Anything besides the place on Broadway because they are absolute garbage!!

Just quoting myself here in the desperate hope that someone might actually answer me... maybe... this time....
Thanks, everyone.

Look, there's a professional imaging studio run by Marotti on Broadway. It's in one of those buildings right before you hit the Republic of Austria area. I don't know the exact street number, but I know the building was put up about ten years ago. It has a grey facade and sits slightly recessed from the main street.

My husband walked through the door waving these bills around, and I just lost it. Apparently, we were being charged an extra 20% on top of everything. I’ve had enough.
I marched straight back there and told them point-blank: "We aren't fools. If you're charging us for things that should be covered by Medicare, then I want itemized receipts, and I want that extra 20% waived immediately. Give me my money back Then they handed me bills with "premium service" listed on them. I'm dying to know where exactly that is defined in their price list. Their response? They basically told me to go find a new dentist.
Can you believe that?
We ended up paying for a filling on a molar$117.
On a side note, we work at the same company and haven't even received our paychecks yet.
What a complete joke. :angry :angry :angry :angry :angry

Look, I'm giving you some straight advice from someone who knows dentistry: stay far away from Ivica Mršić. That guy at Jarun Privatization is basically running a scam—he claims he takes Medicare, but honestly? He nearly ruined one of my perfectly healthy teeth.

for the heart:
I need to get an EKG and a stress test—does anyone have a recommendation?
I assume a cardiologist consultation is included in the package. Please suggest both private specialists and those covered by Medicare (I might seek a second opinion because I don't want any guesswork when it comes to my heart).
Thanks in advance... 😉

My dad is seeing Dr. Nikša Drinković. He works at Mayo Clinic and runs his own private clinic.

The Clinic of Prof. Dr. Nikša Drinković, located at Bošković's on 15th Street.

He is excellent!

Basically, I need a really good, patient dentist. Anywhere in New York City, it doesn't matter which neighborhood.
I have a massive phobia of dentists, the chair, and anything related to dental offices. I need someone truly gentle and careful.
I'm not proud of it, but I honestly start crying just standing outside the clinic.
A total jerk treated me terribly when I was a kid, and it left me with this lifelong phobia...
Please, if anyone has a recommendation, let me know.
Thanks!

I used to be exactly like that until I started seeing Dr. Davorin Muzevic. He is incredibly friendly and gentle; you won't feel a thing. I highly recommend going there. Just tell him you're a little nervous. He's great.

Can anyone recommend a top-tier dentist who works with a truly artistic dental lab technician? I need a single veneer and a zirconia ceramic bridge done right.

THANKS! 🙏

Hey, where are you guys located? 😉It’s clear you actually care about people and live for what you do—honestly, that's exactly the kind of energy I need if I'm finally going to get these dental issues sorted out once and for all.

Hello,

Could anyone point me toward a reliable surgeon in NYC for mole removal? We just saw a dermatologist who recommended surgical excision to ensure they can send the samples off for testing, but the specialist we contacted won't be able to see us for another month and a half. Is it worth waiting that long, or should I look elsewhere?

Thanks,

Does anyone know if there’s a general practitioner in Washington, D.C. who also practices homeopathy?
Or who else should I reach out to for advice? THANKS!

At the very least, I'm looking for a GP in Washington, D.C. covered by Medicare who actually understands a holistic approach.

I've actually seen him a few times now, and I have to say, he’s fantastic! Just be prepared—his prescriptions can run a bit pricey.
I know it’s probably a rare find to get someone that good covered by Medicare.

Do you happen to know any open-minded general practitioners who take Medicare?

THANK YOU🙂

Finding someone like him covered by Medicare is basically impossible.

Unfortunately, I don't know. I don't have any experience with homeopathy myself. Dr. Alexander Soltyšik is right here in my neighborhood, so I just happened to hear people talking about him.

So, here’s the deal. I have a massive, genuine fear of dentists—honestly, it's pretty bad—so I haven't been to an appointment in over a year, even though I really need to go because one of my fillings just popped out. I am desperately looking for someone who will actually try their best to save my tooth rather than just pulling it immediately; I've heard horror stories from a few people about a dentist I tried seeing last year who did exactly that. Since it's been a full year now, I want to find someone patient, high-quality, and who isn't stingy with the anesthesia, all while being budget-friendly since I'm a student and private clinics are just way out of my reach right now. So far, the best glowing reviews and recommendations I've come across are for Dr. Zrinka and Igor Matković. Does anyone know anything about them or has anyone actually sat in their chair before?
I know I'm rambling quite a bit, but it's my teeth on the line, and the lady I used to see was 😠.

Hey there :-)
I don't want to scroll through every single post since this isn't just about dentists, but I'm curious if anyone has experience getting dental work done at the Apolpan clinic. Does anyone know what their prices are for fillings? Also, if anyone happens to know how much they charge for braces...
Thanx

Yeah, I’m also curious about the Center clinic on Savski Road 🙂 If anyone here has used them before, how happy were you with their services? 😉kisskiss

Hey everyone,

Since it seems like half the internet is currently hunting for a decent dentist, I figured I’d drop a recommendation. I’ve dealt with endless dental issues my entire life—it's just not my lucky charm. Even when I actually take care of my teeth, something always goes wrong. Every dentist I saw just gave me the usual excuses about how it was "natural" or whatever. That changed about five years ago when I met Ivica Pelivan. This guy completely overhauled my mouth—fixed everything that needed fixing, did the fillings, and handled the implants. All for a totally fair price, and most importantly, he treats you like a human being instead of just another number. He’s got the whole setup dialed in: X-rays, panoramic scans, technicians, and top-tier materials.
He’s running his practice over at >, right by >. Honestly, he works with the intensity of a research fellow at a major university; the guy knows his stuff and puts in way more effort than any other dentist I've encountered. He doesn't cut corners, and the patient is always the priority.
Plus, if you're on a budget, you can usually work something out regarding the cost.
Just to put things in perspective, I actually have a family dentist who could do everything for next to nothing, yet I still chose to go to him. It was worth every penny.
Here’s the link for anyone interested:
