Hey,

I could really use some help here. I have this massive, irrational fear of dentists, but I urgently need to see someone.
Can anyone recommend a dentist in New York City who’s actually patient and understands what it's like to deal with dental anxiety?
I don't mind if it's a public clinic or a private practice.
Thanks in advance,

Doesn't matter if it's public health clinics or private practice.
Thanks in advance. Feel free to DM me.

Dr. Inga Vučković
She used to have her practice over near the old downtown area, but she moved up to those new "smart homes" near the brewery in Midtown.

Since I saw her back when she was still practicing near my place, I actually have her old number—not the new one from the Midtown office.

I’m definitely one of those people with major dentist anxiety, but honestly, this woman completely changed things for me...
I had a tooth that needed work and spent three grueling weeks—maybe even longer—dealing with it, but after just two visits to her, that fear finally vanished.

I can't recommend her enough.
Unfortunately, I can't really go back to see her right now since she's in private practice and money has been a bit tight lately...

Reading all this about dentists makes me realize that I also don't have nearly enough cash to deal with how much our local dentists gouge you. I actually decided to fly over to Canada because it is—get this—MORE THAN DOUBLE the price cheaper there. Honestly, the dentists here in the States have no shame. If they keep this up, we’re all going to end up walking around with crooked, missing teeth just to stay solvent. Just needed to vent a little so I don't explode.

Good afternoon everyone!
I’m actually looking for the same information as Maša. I am aware that dental work in Canada is significantly more affordable, but I would really love to get everything coordinated before I make the trip over there. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck researching this online, as I only managed to track down one single clinic in Shiklos.
If anyone happens to know how to get in touch with the specific specialists we're looking for—ideally those located in cities near Indianapolis—I would truly appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction!
Thank you all so much in advance!

So, does anyone actually know who the best dermatologists are in San Diego or even just the general area? I mean, honestly, money isn't really an issue here, I just need someone who actually knows what they're doing and won't waste my time. Please, if you have any leads, let me know! This is kind of a huge deal for me.

I'm thinking about getting some breast augmentation, but I’m having such a hard time picking the right surgeon—it's a huge decision. I won't pretend that cost isn't a factor, though I'd definitely rather pay a premium if it means getting high-quality results. I actually went in for a consultation with Zambell, and he mentioned that sometimes you can feel the edges of the implants... so I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with that kind of thing?
To be honest, my experience with Zambell wasn't great; he seemed totally disinterested, and the whole appointment only lasted about 15 minutes (he barely even looked at me, and I felt like I was practically interrogating him just to get basic info about implant sizes, risks, or side effects), which still cost me $83!
I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed because I'm terrified of choosing the wrong person—has anyone else gone through this or have any recommendations for surgeons?
I would really appreciate any advice you guys might have! 🙏

My cousin had her breast reduction surgery with Zambelli and she was absolutely thrilled with the results.

Does anyone actually have an idea what the cost for a breast augmentation is these days?

This might be a bit off-topic, but if anyone could point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it....

Does anyone happen to know a reliable dentist down in Miami? I need to get my teeth sorted out urgently—they're honestly a total disaster at this point 😍

So, if anyone knows a truly great dentist in the Miami area, I would be incredibly grateful 👍

The only one they tried to suggest to me when I moved from Washington, D.C. to Miami—I am beyond satisfied 👍

I mean, I get that... but who am I really supposed to ask over a private message? 🤷

How on earth am I supposed to figure out who's actually from ST and who isn't?

Oh, and Jesse Kern9, I'll definitely look into that dentist you mentioned... thanks a million!

How can I tell who works at AT&T and who doesn't?

Oh, and thanks for the comeback! I'll definitely check out that dentist... really appreciate it.

I'm actually a dentist practicing in San Francisco. If you want to swing by for an exam or a consultation, just shoot me a DM. I'll send over my address so we can get you on the schedule.

Quick question for any experts out there. I suffered a trimalleolar fracture on my right lower leg last week. I’ve already had surgery and now I'm just counting down the two weeks until I can get the stitches pulled. Can anyone explain what a trimalleolar fracture actually entails and how long the recovery process usually takes? I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.🙂

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a primary care doctor near Broadway in NYC? I'm trying to figure out who's available because I’d love to have my whole medical team close together—my gynecologist and dermatologist are already right there on Broadway. Thanks!😁

I’m seeing my doctor in NYC. She’s incredible—honestly, the gold standard for me. Calm, thorough, and she actually takes the time to explain everything you need to know. No rushing.
Some people I know have been complaining about her nurse, but personally, I’ve never had a single issue with her. Honestly, she’s actually really sweet—she’s gone out of her way to help me out more than once without me even asking.
