Hello everyone,

So, as the title suggests, I am looking for a recommendation for a solid dentist who isn't excessively
expensive—ideally someone located right in downtown Cleveland. Just to give some context, I’ve had quite a few issues with my "current" dentist lately. For instance, I was in his office about
two months ago having him fix what I thought were two teeth—paid him just under $667 out of pocket—only to have those exact same teeth start aching again now. It isn't exactly a fluke, either; this has become a bit of a recurring pattern with this particular practitioner.

Thanks in advance,

I see a lot of people wandering around looking for a dentist, so I wanted to share a recommendation. I’ve struggled with dental issues my entire life; I just haven't had any luck there. Even though I take good care of my teeth, trouble always finds me. Every dentist I saw just claimed it was "natural" or made excuses about why things were failing. That changed when I went to Ivica Pelivan almost five years ago. This guy completely rebuilt my smile. He fixed everything that needed fixing, did the fillings, and placed implants where necessary. Everything was done at a very fair price, and most importantly, he was finally honest and treated me like a real person. His office is incredibly organized—they have X-rays, panoramic imaging, technicians, and he uses top-tier materials.
He’s currently practicing at 123 Main St, right by Kvatrić. The man works like a dedicated researcher at a university; he truly knows his stuff and puts in more effort than any other dentist I've met. He's never too busy for a patient, and you are always his priority.
Plus, you can always negotiate the price based on what you can afford.
Just for context, I actually have a family dentist where I could get everything done for pennies, but I chose to go to him instead. It was worth every single cent.
Here is the link for anyone who needs it:

Thanks so much for the recommendation! 🙂
I personally struggle to find a good dentist; they're either bad, overpriced, or expensive and still bad. 🙄That's been my experience so far...

Just moved to San Francisco recently. Now I’ve gotta find myself a regular doctor.

Which GP should I go with if I want someone who actually knows their stuff when it comes to health issues for older guys?

Any leads would be appreciated...

I heard there's a new Dentistry Inc. over on Hebrang Street. Apparently, they use tech with 4x less radiation and the images are crystal clear, though it costs $67.
Has anyone used them? Any recommendations? Anything besides the place on 19th Street because their service is absolutely terrible!!

The ones on Hebrang Street are fine👍
They're practically a steal.

There's also an option on Krajiški Street, but word is the crew over on Hebrang has much better X-ray equipment.

Samuel Williams80 said:Hey everyone,

It seems like quite a few people around here are wandering aimlessly in search of a decent dentist, so I figured I’d drop a recommendation. I’ve spent most of my life battling various dental issues—honestly, luck has never been on my side when it comes to oral health. I take care of my teeth, I really do, yet some new problem always manages to catch me off guard. Every dentist I’ve visited before just shrugged it off, claiming it was "natural" or some other vague excuse to justify why things were going wrong. That was always the case until I finally walked into Dentistry Inc. Ivica Pelivan It’s been nearly five years since I first sat in that chair. Back then, I needed a complete overhaul—fillings, repairs, and implants where they were absolutely necessary. Honestly, the price was incredibly reasonable, but what mattered most to me wasn't the cost; it was finally finding a doctor who treated me like a human being rather than just another insurance claim. There was this genuine, straightforward connection there that you just don't see much anymore. The whole operation is incredibly streamlined, too. They have everything handled on-site, from high-end imaging and panoramic X-rays to skilled technicians, all while working with top-tier materials. It’s rare to find that kind of seamless, honest professionalism.
He’s finally set up his own practice over at 123 Main St, right near Kvatrić. Honestly, the guy works with the kind of intensity you usually only see in a university research fellow; he actually knows his stuff and puts in more effort than pretty much any other dentist I've encountered. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for him, and he genuinely treats his patients like they’re his top priority.
When it comes to the price, you can always sit down and negotiate based on what your budget actually looks like.
Just to give you some perspective, I actually have a dentist in the family, which meant I could have easily had everything done for next to nothing. Even so, I chose to go to his practice instead. Honestly, every single cent was worth it.
Here’s the link you need: If you’re looking for some dental work, you might want to check out the site for Cosmodent. It’s one of those places that looks like it actually knows what it's doing, which is a rare find when you're scrolling through endless options online. I remember once having to deal with a massive cavity while I was stuck in downtown Chicago, and honestly, finding a reliable clinic felt more difficult than passing a bar exam. Anyway, if you need someone to look at your teeth, this is worth a click.

Hey Bruno, whenever you get a spare moment, could you walk me through the actual numbers? I’m trying to figure out what we’re looking at for things like crowns and repairs, just to get the full picture of the total cost. Honestly, I’m on the hunt for a decent dentist myself, but man, it feels like everyone out there is just looking to bleed you dry. At this rate, I might actually need to take out a personal loan from Chase just to cover the bill. Thanks in advance.🙏

Thanks, everyone.

I send all my patients who need an orthopantomogram over there. Their equipment is top-tier.

Can anyone recommend a solid OB-GYN in Savannah?
Also, I was wondering—is there a specific time of year when it’s easier to transfer medical records over to a new doctor's office?

You can actually transfer your health records to a different clinic whenever you want during the year, though I guess there is one catch—you have to make sure at least a full year has passed since your last move. For instance, I’m planning to switch over to a dentist who accepts my insurance, even though I’ve been seeing him privately for a while now. I originally switched from my previous insurance-provider dentist back in late June of last year. So, I’m just waiting out these next three months before making the official jump to this new dentist I've been visiting privately since September. I suppose I could technically switch right this second, but then I'd have to file some kind of formal request or petition, so I think I'll just wait it out a little longer.

I definitely wouldn't suggest that clinic on Savski Street... The doctor seemed completely checked out, and honestly, she packed my fillings way too tight. 👎

That's exactly why I was asking if anyone else had used them. I wanted to see if I was just being dramatic. 🙄

Can anyone recommend a solid cardiologist in Miami?
Ideally, I'd love to find someone at a public hospital, but if you know of a great
private specialist or someone working out of a private clinic, please let me know!
The main thing for me is finding someone who is really sharp with ultrasound diagnostics. I had a pretty rough experience recently where I was given a totally wrong diagnosis because they misread the scans, so I'm being extra careful this time. 🤷
Thanks in advance!🙂

So, I'm on the hunt for a solid private gastroenterologist here in Washington, D.C.
Does anyone have the scoop on Dr. Solomon over on Shakespearean Square?
The main thing for me is finding someone who’s actually an expert and doesn't cut corners, though having a doctor who's easy to talk to and friendly definitely wouldn't hurt.
Thanks!

Does anyone know if Dr. Solomon is any good?
I just need someone highly skilled and thorough, though being friendly and easy to talk to is definitely a plus.
Thanks!

I can tell you from experience that he's great. I had a gastroscopy with him and it was a total breeze—over before I knew it. The nurses are wonderful, and the doctor is really approachable. Once he asks his questions, he'll order whatever tests are needed, like

😉

I’m looking for a phone number (via DM) for a decent gynecologistin Seattle. Not a private practice—just someone where I won't be stuck on a waiting list for an entire month. Thanks in advance.😁

I was wondering if anyone might have a recommendation for a decent physiatrist somewhere in the Midwest region—perhaps around Indianapolis, Des Moines, Memphis, Wichita, or even St. Louis... I suppose it doesn't matter too much which city, provided the specialist is competent enough.
I think I would much prefer to see someone in a private practice setting, if such an option even exists in those areas... though I realize that might be asking a bit much.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.🙂

Hey everyone, does anyone happen to have any insight into the dental scene over in Canada? I’ve been hearing through the grapevine that getting work done there is basically half the price compared to what we pay here, and apparently, the quality is just as high as what you'd find at a top-tier clinic in the States. If you've had any experience with it or know anything useful, please drop a comment below. I'd really appreciate it.😉🙂

I once visited a specialized clinic in Indianapolis... the gentleman there was such a lifesaver. I was dealing with some serious spinal issues following a car accident; my doctor kept trying to insist everything was perfectly fine, but the pain was absolutely tearing me apart. I ended up going there for about three sessions, and honestly, even though it’s been six years now, I still feel the benefits—knock, knock, knock! I don't think I should name the specific center here, but if you're interested, just send me a private message and I'll let you know what it was.

Hey,

I could really use some help here. I have an intense fear of dentists, and I seriously need to see someone ASAP.
Can anyone recommend a dentist in New York City who’s actually patient and understands dental anxiety?
I don't mind if it's a clinic or a private practice.
Thanks in advance,
