Here’s the link from a medical directory on some health portal. It’s got all the details for that top-tier clinic over in Sesvete; they actually have dermatologists on staff. You just need to give them a call and double-check if they'll take a referral from Medicare.

Your only option is Dr. Turkovic (if I remembered the name correctly), but I wouldn't suggest seeing him. He hasn't been able to help me with anything so far. You're better off heading to Salat instead of wasting your time with him.

I'm looking for a private immunologist or an infectious disease specialist, preferably someone tied to a clinic where I can get all the tests done right then and there... Doesn't even have to be here in the States, though that would be way easier... 😁
It’s not for me and it's pretty urgent, so let me know if you guys know anyone 😉

Who should I reach out to in Washington, D.C. regarding anorexia? How long does treatment typically last? And honestly, what can I expect from the whole process?
thanks

I know some guys who are supposedly amazing. They run Spinal studio, over at 1 Ostrovicki St in Queens...
My friend is getting her back fixed up through massage work and intense training sessions.
Unfortunately, I don't have their number on me, but maybe just walk by and check them out.

It really depends on whether you're looking at outpatient care or checking into a hospital.

Right now, unfortunately, there isn't a psychiatric ward specifically dedicated to eating disorders. However, they're planning to open one over at the psychological medicine clinic (think Mayo Clinic vibes) once they finish the new building they just tore down. Dr. Vesna Vidovic runs that whole area—she’s honestly such a wonderful, warm, and incredibly professional soul. I assume she’s been training some of the younger psychiatrists too.

That said, there's an excellent department up in Canada where a lot of girls from the States have gone for help, though Medicare treats those costs like a wicked stepmother and won't cover it...

I’ve asked around, but half of them don't have a clue what they're doing. Is there anyone actually worth seeing in San Diego?

Have you tried seeing Dr. Marovic?

So, I moved to Washington, D.C. a few days ago and now I’m on the hunt for a new doctor... I'm living over in the Vrbik area, and I was wondering if anyone might have a recommendation for a solid GP or a good family doctor around Vrbik (assuming there's even a clinic around here 🤷) or maybe somewhere near Trnje? I really need to get my medical records transferred soon because I actually need to see someone... any good doctors near Vrbik would be amazing.

So, since I’ve been dealing with some ongoing health issues—and we all know how the dynamic between patients and doctors can be in public hospitals—does anyone have recommendations for a private clinic? I'm looking for somewhere I could potentially get everything handled, from seeing a neurologist to further follow-ups, within just a few days... and does anyone have any idea what kind of costs we're looking at here?

Also, does anyone happen to know an immunologist practicing privately in Washington, D.C., or anywhere else in the States??

thanks

I'm looking for some solid recommendations for a good OB-GYN covered by Medicare—ideally someone located out in Brooklyn if possible!

I honestly wish I could just find one single place where everything is laid out in one shot. Like, give me my full blood panel, hormone levels, an assessment of my internal organs, blood pressure, vascular health, lung function from all the smoking...
I don't even know the full list of what's required, but I want it to cover absolutely everything, down to the $500 most minute detail, you know? 🙂

Maybe nobody is posting about this because they aren't allowed to advertise or whatever, but man, I would love to just gather all this info in one spot.
If anyone has actually gone through a full workup like this, could you please drop a comment letting us know exactly what tests you had done and how much damage it did to your wallet?

Thanks

I don't even know what else, but it needs to cover absolutely everything. And I mean top-tier, high-end stuff. Like $500 let's say 🙂

If anyone has actually done this, please tell me exactly what you had done and how much it cost.

Thanks

As for the price being under $500, honestly, I doubt it'll happen.

I am on the hunt for a private dentist around the Brooklyn area who won't charge an absolute fortune, possesses the patience of a saint, and—most importantly—is actually good at what they do. I really need someone who won't judge me or make snarky comments when I inevitably start panicking and shaking uncontrollably in the chair. It’s becoming quite urgent because I just found out my regular dentist is away on vacation, and I have this nagging feeling that one of my roots is totally dead; the pain has been absolutely killing me for a week now... Thank you all so much!!!

Emergency!
Can anyone point me toward a great ENT? I’ve got a sinusoscopy scheduled over at the medical center in Chicago, but honestly, I’m looking for a second opinion first. I've heard those procedures can be pretty painful, and I'd much rather go to someone I can actually trust.

Can anyone recommend a decent GP in Cleveland?
I need to ditch the monster I’m currently seeing. Given that I have a newborn, I suspect I’ll be needing a doctor who actually knows what they're doing when my sick days inevitably run dry...
