Thanks for the good advice, but man... what kind of exercise is supposed to fix a -7 myopia plus astigmatism? Like, even laser surgery barely touches that, let alone some tiny little glasses. Honestly, if we're talking biology—it's like any other muscle in your body, right? You work it out, it gets stronger, you stop, it atrophies. So, isn't the effect from these glasses just temporary?

Look, I don't know if this can actually solve your specific issue. You could certainly give it a shot.
But let's say it actually works—would you rather commit to exercising for 30 minutes every single day for the rest of your life while wearing those glasses, or would you prefer to spend 12 hours a day in conventional glasses or contacts?

That muscle is going to atrophy if you don't keep at it.

Ideally, you'd only need to train a few times a week once your vision is fully corrected, not necessarily every single day.

I'm also on the hunt for a solid eye doctor... I really need to move on from Dr. Bill because she's way too expensive, plus the wait times are ridiculous😢 and honestly, her exams feel a bit rushed, if you know what I mean👎 is Dr. Hance actually any good, especially when you're looking for contact lenses?

Also, kind of going off-topic here. After sticking with Alcon solutions for four years, I finally made the jump to Total Care two days ago, and I’m actually surprised by how much better it feels. My lenses just feel "lighter" and way more comfortable to wear.

Are you kidding me? How could anyone actually find that useful?
My eye doctor sent me in for one of those three times in a row, and every single time they came back with a totally different prescription...

She’s honestly one of the top contact lens specialists in the US (though she's great with glasses, too, obviously). I’ve been going to her for over 8 years now for my semi-rigid lenses, and everything has been excellent—a huge difference from Rebra, whose contact lens office was a total disaster.
The only thing is, you'll have to pay for the exam out of pocket since Medicare doesn't cover it, but for me, it's worth every penny. It gives me peace of mind knowing everything is handled correctly so I can just relax for the rest of the year.

As for those computer-based eye exams? Sure, they're fine, but you still really need a proper vision check using the classic chart on the wall. At the end of the day, what matters is how *you* actually see, not just what the computer screen says.
