🤣

And for the Ferrari drivers, it's like negative seconds...

Like they're getting a 5-second gift 😬

He said there’s a massive difference between just saying something and actually doing it.

That’s exactly how I wrote it too—and honestly, I have zero intention of doing anything like that because I wouldn't even touch him with a ten-foot pole. Come on, don't you start telling me you don't get what I mean. 😕😁

Autosport thinks Hulkenberg is one of the nine penalized, while saying Rosberg should have been given a pit pass instead... 🤣

Rebecca Fox4 said:I'm not exactly a Hamilton fan, but it isn't all his fault (despite what Alonso fans claim), because here is yet another blunder...:

The F1 Safety Car (SC) features a light bar on its roof with both yellow and green lights; that green light is specifically there to signal that the driver directly following the SC is cleared to overtake. Once the race leader is right behind the SC, the yellow lights go on.

It isn't quite as black and white as you're making it out to be.

When the SC is out on track, overtaking is strictly prohibited. Nobody passes anyone, under any circumstances, until Race Control gives the green light.
Only once the field has lined up—and provided the leader isn't already tucked in behind the SC—does Race Control signal that drivers can begin passing the SC. That's when the green light turns on (which is exactly what we saw during the race) until the moment the leader catches up to the back of the pack, at which point the yellow lights come on and overtaking is banned again.

stormyviper11 said:Anyway, let's take a second to talk about another driver who didn't exactly have a stellar race today...

What was his name again? 🤔 Oh, right, Seb Vettel... 😬

The joke is Webber 😉

Since Horner got fired early, he actually had time to think straight and the strategy was totally fine. But once they're both racing, Horner just can't process all that data at once and someone on the crew inevitably screws up. Clearly, they either need more admin staff and faster processors 😬 or they should just run a single driver. If they did that, they would've been champions ages ago, regardless of which current driver was behind the wheel.

Bradley Nelson2 said:Grandpa made up for messing up qualifying two races in a row by making moves during the start and early laps. Then, after finishing 3rd, the team absolutely trashed his race with some terrible calls.☕

That’s facts. I mean, honestly, it might be smarter for him to just spend his days hanging out with other retirees at the local bingo halls or whatever 😁, but you have to give him credit—his start was incredible. And yeah, that light signal was super sketchy, no doubt about that.

What’s with these 5-second penalties now? Back when they unfairly penalized Schumacher in Monaco, everyone was claiming they could only hand out a 25-second penalty after the race. Now it seems like those rules only apply when Schumacher is the one getting penalized. 🤮

As for the race, I think Kubica could have driven better. My gut tells me that Renault can actually be pretty fast in these kinds of conditions. Luckily he didn't try to overtake Rubin, or he might have just ended up straight into the wall. Props to Kamui for his driving; he managed to milk the situation for everything it was worth. Webber -> retirement ☕

I can't help but feel like Ferrari is slowly drifting back to those pre-Schumacher days. Just sloppy, disorganized, and dim-witted—usually featuring two fast drivers who lack any real tactical wisdom 😍
At least my guys have a Psycho Lewis and a cheap imitation of Prost, but honestly, seeing them up in the standings makes me happy 😍

Hmm, yeah—it wasn't always this messy with the competition; there used to be a bit more respect shown toward rivals and their fans.

I think at least half the forum is tearing into Lewis now—not really because of him, though, but mostly because of his fanbase. 😁

Summa cum laude, we’ve effectively widened our lead over the rest of the field today. 😁

Only a 5-second penalty.
It’s honestly ridiculous; there are so many things about this race that just don't feel right according to the usual rules.

I am certainly pleased to see that Ferrari has demonstrated they can actually keep pace with the tempo set by Red Bull Racing and McLaren.

Yeah, but based on this, he retired five seconds later. 😬

Which means the FIA really needs to slap some massive fines on those marshals who rushed in to clear his race car, because they entered the restricted zone five seconds too early, which is potentially dangerous... 🤣 My guess? A tiny little fine for the organizers.

It’s just like I was saying, Schumacher exits the pits right behind Glock and ends up ahead of him in the standings, then the officials start waving blue flags at Glock😕 and now on top of all that, Glock gets hit with a 20-second penalty? What even is this? 😕

Hamilton wasn't leading, and the yellow flag was already out.

Actually, he was leading 😬
Because Vettel was just chasing his buddy Webber, hoping he'd lend him his race car so he could finish the race. But unfortunately, Webber had already left, so Vettel just kept driving around looking all depressed—that's why Hamilton caught him so easily.😉
