Look, if you aren't going to offer us actual new usernames instead of just slight variations of what we already have, or at least let us edit our old posts, then fine—but this current setup isn't working. I've noticed some people had their handles changed to something completely unrecognizable from their originals, too.

I brought this up before, but the request was shot down because the name was supposedly unavailable. That was a while ago, though. Rules seem to have shifted since then, so I figured I'd ask again.🕺

Unfortunately, the answer is still a no.
I mean, sure, he hasn't actually posted anything in 14 years, but that doesn't exactly mean he hasn't been lurking on the forum all this time, you know? He could've been hanging out on his profile for over a decade just reading everything, sending private messages, and staying in the loop without ever actually typing a single word out loud... maybe.

Without the number, it would feel totally different. I don't want to be unrecognizable on the threads where I usually hang out.
I’m just not a fan of the all-caps look right now—it stands out way too much when everyone else uses lowercase.
