And what you're bringing up now is just an even bigger load of crap than the boycott itself. Use your head, for God's sake—talk about actually executing some kind of plan instead of just typing out what should happen.

That might be the only situation where such a move wouldn't fly, given the current state of the club in Miami ahead of a derby. In any other city, it would certainly work, though I'm not convinced it's the best idea anyway.

You are being incredibly naive if you actually believe that😉 We didn't even manage to pull off a full boycott against Indianapolis when things were looking grim at the club. After that, there were a few more attempts and a ton of other ideas that just fizzled out or died in the planning stages because we realized it's better to not attempt a boycott at all than to stage one that turns into a total fiasco... Mainly, the last boycott—where everyone walked out of the stadium at the 60-minute mark—was against Iowa, and even that wasn't 100% successful. It’s stupid for me to talk about how "successful" an action was when only 300 people walk out, while 10-15% of those people stay in the North stands, plus even more from those 300 spread out across the other two sections. And most importantly... the message sent was worth absolutely zero points. The local news mentioned a group of fans left at X minute, and that was it...

But whatever, it doesn't matter... I'm dreaming too big trying to steer this conversation toward ideas that can actually be executed, since this is just one forum. A forum where types like Kimberly Alvarez7 run the show, a forum where 99% of the members won't show up tomorrow to help the Fan Club, the Association, or whatever else to make real, actionable ideas happen—actions that actually make noise or get noticed... No, most of you would rather sit here playing "hardcore fan" by typing out sci-fi bullshit, no offense intended, and of course, hats off to the exceptions this post isn't aimed at😉

Sorry for going off-topic, cheers🙂

😂🤣 I am speechless. Thanks for the recognition; reaching the top tier of this forum was always my goal. It means a lot, especially coming from someone who isn't some veteran with 40,000 posts. Hugs and kisses. Regarding the derby, I clearly stated I don't support an immediate boycott because it would be too hard on the away supporters. You completely misunderstood me. Everyone needs to be in the stands in massive numbers. My advice? Get out more and get some fresh air. Neither you nor I will be deciding on any official actions.

There’s absolutely no way we achieve anything without the hardcore supporters in the North and South sections. Without them, you’d just have those other 25,000–30,000 people scattered in the West and East,
who would only cheer sporadically whenever the team starts an attack, and then the media would spin it
as if there was some incredible atmosphere created by those hooligans... out there in the stands...
I think we still have about a year left under the current fan law, and it would be foolish to start a boycott right now when we actually need to show up.
We should go support every single match while we still can.
Then, once the new legislation is passed—if it ends up being what they say it will (which is likely)—we take it to court in Brussels.
We'd fight to strike down the law. The US has lost almost every legal battle there before, so obviously, it won't be easy. It takes massive amounts of money, effort, and time, but even if it takes five or six
years to get that law overturned as unconstitutional, better late than never. Once that happens, then we can finally return to the stands properly...
Until then, we can stick to a boycott, since we’ll probably end up in a forced boycott anyway...

In my opinion, a boycott should be the absolute last resort, at least until the new law is actually enacted.
That's why I don't get certain groups rambling on about "no more old-school football" or "modern soccer" or whatever else...
It’s precisely because of this that we need to show up and prove where football lives. We need to show that we are part of this whole thing.
We need to be visible there, rather than just disappearing, because that’s exactly what they want us to do!!

boldhound8 said:I think you guys are talking absolute nonsense.🙂 Look, I get it, we all want the same thing, but let's stop wasting our breath on SF bullshit because honestly, spinning our wheels on that crap is a total waste of time. We should be talking about what actually works.

First off, let’s get real: no single group can pull off filling an empty stadium by itself during some random mid-week game against Indianapolis... Actually, forget just the stadium, forget even just one section, dammit...

And you people really think boycotting El Clásico would work? A match where 60,000 people would show up if Dodger Stadium could actually hold 60,000? Jebiga, even if the entire Ultras crew and every single local chapter stayed home, the stands would still be packed. Hell, people might even thank us for staying away because there’d be a few thousand extra tickets left over... Would there be cheering? Real atmosphere? No. But there’d be some half-assed noise and everyone would act like everything is fine... The wolves get fed while the sheep just get counted.😉

What would we actually achieve? Absolutely nothing.
What kind of message would it send? Zero.
Basically, when you actually stop and think about it, you'd probably just end up causing a massive backfire...

Just a quick correction regarding an inaccurate statement.😁I think one group already pulled this off back in '96 or '97, and it was aimed right at you guys—we cleared out the south stands at Yankee Stadium in just ten minutes.

So the real issue comes down to how things are organized and all the trash left behind in the stands, but I suppose it can be managed.😉

Is there any other way to go about this? I just wonder what the actual results will be. Will anyone even notice that 150 hardcore fans aren't in the stands? Honestly, it wasn't even noticed when the entire South Side walked out during the game that year, and did that change anything? Not really.

That happened back in '94. We had thirty minutes of dead silence, fifteen minutes of pure chaos, and then everyone walked out of the south stands—every single last person.

You gotta show up in massive numbers for that to work, and clearly, that wasn't the vibe this year. If they’re gonna pull this stuff at Yankee Stadium, they need to pack the North Stand. One section stays quiet, then boom—ten minutes of pure chaos at home.

Now *that* would get noticed. But if it's just 100 to 300 people showing up like most games lately, what's the point?

The Liverpool-Bayern Munich match... there was this weird 15-minute stretch at the start where everyone just seemed stunned. You could see the guys in the East Stand trying to spark something, but nothing was catching. Then suddenly, the North Stand absolutely loses it. Honestly, I’m not even sure if it would have mattered if we were playing in Tampa or Philly; it doesn't really matter which section the supporters are in, as long as they show up and make enough noise to brag about the next day. It would have been something, but it wasn't quite there. Then, predictably, total chaos breaks out and the whole East Side starts booing. You just can't pull it off without some real hardcore fans.

Exactly... you hit the nail on the head. I was trying to remember the specifics, but I couldn't for the life of me recall who they were actually playing against. Damn, it slipped my mind.

Basically, when you actually stop and think about it, you'd probably just end up causing a massive backfire...

And what exactly would you do differently? Wave some damn slogans that nobody gives a single crap about? Light some flares as a protest? Or maybe try some "ultra-secret" mastermind move that only a few "inner circle" types know about, which inevitably turns out to be a complete waste of time—just like every other time before now? Or should we just lock ourselves away and "mind our own business"—which is exactly how we ended up in this mess today, both as a group and within the entire supporter scene?

It's all or nothing at this point... everything needs to be energized. Maybe focus on the players first, then the celebrities, then the regular fans... because this derby is going to have more media eyes on it than anything we've seen in years...

What can I say? You're right. I was just a kid back then, which leads me to my next thought: Man, you really are an old-timer.😬

It’s enough to make your head spin, really, though a little more respect for someone with the seasoned caliber of a spitka core wouldn't hurt you... meanwhile, the amateur is just sitting there drooling.

That kid probably has nearly twice your age, and he’s likely just talking out of turn for the sake of being a nuisance rather than actually showing any disrespect toward your friend...

Bok, I'm Dada. Who are you?🙂

Why don't we take this to PMs so we can talk about all that nonsense there? Besides, like people already told you, my post was just a joke and wasn't directed at you personally.

Bye bye
