Screw the refs too, honestly. They're a joke.
Do you feel better now? Like you're somehow superior to your old man? You're such a quitter. Total lack of spirit. Pure cynicism. Weak.
Gonna go grab some more vodka...

Honestly, Iโ€™d say we all need a solid month-long cooling-off period from this whole forum... ๐Ÿ˜

Bravo guys, heroes until the end. Hats off, that's how you fight!

Denmark deserved it. The refs were total trash, and honestly, I'm not even gonna waste my breath on that clown coaching them just to line his pockets...

Anyway, great job. Not worth wasting my energy on idiots...

Huge congrats to the guys, taking silver is such an incredible achievement ๐Ÿ™
I have to say, those Spanish guys really played spoiler and wouldn't let us close the gap on the Danes at the end; they did their job perfectly ๐Ÿคฎbut man, once the Danes started to crumble near the finish line, they honestly looked ready to lose. I guess it just wasn't meant to be, everything just seemed to go sideways for them today...

Karabatic for MVP, surely ๐Ÿ˜‚

Another game down the drain, just like that.

The Americans definitely have the edge when it comes to coachingโ€”itโ€™s night and day.

That guy over there has been stacking up medals with the Danes; you can tell he actually knows how to manage a team. That's what a real coach looks like.

Compare that to the mess we have on our bench. He calls timeouts six or seven minutes too late, and itโ€™s just more of the same kind of stuff.

I honestly have this nagging feeling that France might actually be playing a better game than Denmark right now

Hvidt got 120, Alilovic got 70... man, you just don't win gold like that.

Honestly, I just forgot they even existed. Hopefully the "Republican Party curse" skips them this time... at least someone deserves a break. ๐Ÿ˜

So, they walked away with the gold... I mean, itโ€™s obvious this squad is in way better physical shape, though I wouldn't go so far as to say they actually played better. Honestly, the whole thing felt kind of messy, but looking back at those few callsโ€”those two goals that definitely should have countedโ€”I truly believe we would've been tied up until the final buzzer, and it would've come down to whoever wanted it more in those last few seconds, whether it was the Americans or the team from Denmark. It doesn't even matter though, because itโ€™s going to taste so much sweeter when we absolutely crush everyone right here on home soil!

First off, silver looks better than gold anyway. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
It was obvious they just hit a wall. They looked more like heavyweight boxers out there than NBA players. We didn't have much of a presence in goal today, unfortunately, but Hvidt was absolutely incredible during this tournamentโ€”hat's off to him. ๐Ÿ™The left wing was basically non-existent today too. Vukiฤ‡ managed two goals, but I could barely notice him most of the time. ๐Ÿคท
The officiating was almost as bad as a local high school leagueโ€”total disaster. But whatever, I guess Lino shouldn't have pushed it quite that hard; itโ€™s definitely easier to play when you actually have six men on the floor instead of five. ๐ŸคทThere were some American fans in the stands who probably wanted to take it out on the refs afterward. ๐Ÿ˜ฌIf this had happened at a game back home, you wouldn't have made it out of the arena alive.
Credit to the guys, though. That medal is rightfully theirs. If they had been even slightly healthier, we might have walked away with the gold.
The Americans earned their spot too; honestly, they played well throughout the tournament (except for certain stretches today and yesterday ๐Ÿ˜ฌ). ๐Ÿ™
But the EHF and IHF need to overhaul the scheduling for these championships because this is insane. Just look at these playersโ€”they're limping around the court and dropping balls like they can't hold onto them. I bet they had over 30 turnovers combined. That shouldn't be happening between the two best teams in the tournament. This kind of pace is unsustainable. So, use your heads, people! Get it together!! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Let them run for a little longer, then we'll screw them over right at the finish lineโ€”just the way we like to do it.

Arthur Martinez7 said:Come on, let's be reasonable here. ๐Ÿ˜ I truly cannot stand it when Boลพo Suลกec starts picking fights over nothing right from the very first minute, and what I find even more aggravating is when someone actually decides to jump on the bandwagon and fuel that nonsense. Itโ€™s honestly exhausting, isn't it? I just can't abide it.

But really, wasn't that just an absolute robbery tonight? I mean, it was blatantly obvious, wasn't it? To be fair, if they called one goal on a foul, I could wrap my head around it, but two in a row? Thatโ€™s just plain disrespectful.๐Ÿ™„ We should probably just bench Vori. He let the ball slip right out of his hands and didn't even bother to get it back into play. Honestly, how does that happen? ๐Ÿ™„ It seems weโ€™ve encountered a double disqualification because things went a bit sideways on the line. One has to wonder, reallyโ€”how does such a lapse occur at this level? It was a messy situation, to say the least. ๐Ÿ™„Vukiฤ‡ getting called for a foul, then seeing ฤŒupiฤ‡ tossed without any clear reason... give me a break. It feels far too calculated to be just some series of unfortunate accidents. Honestly, at this point, I'd have felt more comfortable if we had those officials from the Midwest refereeing the game instead. ๐Ÿ™

Judicial theft serves as an excuse, and more often than not, it doesn't actually impact the outcome of the gamesโ€”but that certainly doesn't mean it isn't a reality. Does such a thing truly exist? One might argue it's mostly noise, yet we cannot simply dismiss it entirely. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Well, if youโ€™re looking for definitive proof of how much they can get away with, look no further than what happened tonight. This right here? This is the ultimate evidence of their dishonesty. ๐Ÿ˜

The bottom line is they started cheating the moment they realized the Americans were totally lost.

Look... there's almost an unwritten rule that you help the team that's actually making a run. We've seen it a thousand times and it's somewhat understandable. But they are absolutely slaughtering a team that's already down five goals. Not once or twice, but five or six blatant robberies, simply because they saw these idiots might actually be able to hang in there.

It's pathetic.

Huge props to the team! They truly left everything out there on the court, and honestly, they deserve a massive standing ovation for that kind of effort. A huge congratulations to the Americansโ€”they absolutely earned this championship victory!

Our goalkeeping situation is a total disaster.
How does anyone manage to score on them so easily?

electricnomad11 said:It feels like the whole world is against us, honestly. Itโ€™s just that same old mentality from our rivals over in Mexico.

We actually looked better for maybe 20 minutes of the game, but the Danes had them for the other 40.
The only reason we even stood a chance at catching up late was because they completely lost their cool and started making unforced errors.

I guess I'm just bummed we didn't grab the gold to round out the medal collection. But man, they gave it everything they had. Their hearts were willing, even if their bodies just wouldn't cooperate anymore.

Seriously though, props to the guys. You're still the best in my book, even without the title.๐Ÿ™

You can't say stuff like that here without being labeled a troll who hates America.
Itโ€™s crazyโ€”every single player stood in front of the cameras and admitted Denmark deserved the win and was the better team.

But if I say it before they do, I'm the one who gets banned! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™

Honestly, we can only look at our guys with pure pride. Before this tournament even kicked off, I know plenty of people were convinced weโ€™d get knocked out by the Americans in the group stage, but look at us now!
