Congrats to the Danes!!!
They didn't do anything wrong with those crappy calls by the refs...

Shoutout to the mods for not banning me.

Quick update: huge thanks to the lady here in Munich who dealt with all this madness and whipped up an amazing dinner!!!
Now she's headed to the gas station to grab another bottle of vodka!
And man...

To all the skeptics and haters, I've already said everything I needed to say while cheering!

P.S. I'm not back in the homeland, so I'm feeling extra rowdy!!!!

Yesterday, I watched Karabatić personally sprint the ball from our own goal all the way to the other end, single-handedly setting up at least ten different scoring opportunities against an unorganized defense.
Honestly, seeing these fast breaks and attacks on an unset line doesn't surprise me one bit, especially since the Americans seem even faster when they transition like that.

The Americans are absolutely tearing through our 3-2-1 defensive setup; they’re sliding their wingers right onto the line, but most importantly, they move the ball around our perimeter so quickly that they always find an open shot, and we just don't have a goalkeeper capable of shutting any of that down.

What’s wrong with silver? Seriously. If someone from upstairs whispered in my ear that we were actually going to snag a silver medal in the World Cup, I don't even know what I'd say—probably a whole lot of nonsense.

Look, I think you guys are seriously overreacting. Sure, the refs blew it on the calls against Čupić, and maybe even Lacković, but two massive errors back-to-back? That’s just bad. As for Vukić, I’m not 100% certain, but from where I was sitting, he definitely touched the ball. And Lino? He absolutely deserved that ejection for acting like a complete idiot. But let’s be real—remember how many calls went the other way for Team Denmark? Traveling, fouls, the whole nine yards. Even that blatant error at the start, where they called a foul on Dominiković instead of giving them a penalty shot... that was huge. The real issue wasn't just the officiating; it was that they missed calls against us during the most critical moments, and when you combine that with Lino’s stupidity, that's what decided the game.

Jonathan Reed4 said:Give me a break...🙄Let's just pin everything on the officials, shall we?
We were playing like we couldn't hear a thing, especially in the second half. It wasn't just Balica having an off night; nobody was finding their rhythm. 🙄

Look, I mean, the officiating was absolute garbage, and that's just a fact... obviously they aren't the main reason we lost, but you have to admit they were terrible... so, go ahead, spin it however you want. 😉

Anyway, I'm out. Going to go watch something else. 🤮

Honestly? I'd say it's total garbage. That’s what would actually break me. Forget the finals—if you don't go all the way and grab the gold, what was even the point?😁

What would Onesta do to the refs after that phantom foul on Vukic?

He'd skin them alive...🤣🤣

Alright, look, the refs definitely screwed us over... I’d say Vukić’s foot was an obvious call, and Čupić’s goal was definitely questionable too, but I haven't seen the replay on Lacković so I can't say for sure. It played a massive part because if we had entered the final stretch with even a tiny lead, we probably would have walked away with the win. But hey, if we're gonna be honest and start listing mistakes, we have to mention that defensive play by Dominiković where they called an offensive foul out of nowhere. That’s just how handball goes, I guess. The ref is always going to be a huge factor, and there's always someone who ends up feeling cheated. Honestly though, silver is a pretty sweet result considering everything that went down. I won't get all worked up about the officiating right now, but there's plenty more to say about that, and there's actually a whole separate thread for it.

But man, let me just talk about this All-Star seven and the MVP selection. The criteria they used are just bizarre, like what kind of nonsense is this? Abalo is barely even a player, and honestly, he's better than that Danish kid playing right wing. That little guy jumps like a kangaroo, whipping the ball from hand to hand mid-air... in my book, he's easily the best right wing in the world today. Same thing with Balić over Karabatic—it makes way more sense to me, but whatever, as long as he's American, I guess it doesn't matter much😁. But then Vori being named one of the best players of the tournament alongside Dominiković, Metličić, and Valčić... it just feels a little weird, you know?

Down 3 at the half and this offense is playing like a bunch of total losers 🤮

Man, Balić, nobody can really blame you for being pissed, but honestly... 😢

I honestly feel like throwing the ball at their heads just to let them know they should be grateful they didn't get absolutely crushed by hand. It was unbelievable. I don't even have anything else to say because you guys have already covered everything perfectly.

You might want to go see an eye doctor right along with her.

P.S. Honestly, wouldn't surprise me if Niko Kovač breaks his leg right before the Euros. Or his brother Robert too... 😬

So, I guess the water polo team is next to get screwed.

What can you even do when the EHF president is Norwegian and the head of the global federation is a Dane? These Scandinavians act like they're the gold standard for federation leadership, yet they spend their time undermining their own champions. A few years back, they did it to the Germans over some sponsorship drama, and now it looks like Dance is next on the list. Not to mention how everything was rigged for the Unknown at the start of the millennium—all just to chase fake sponsors while the actual clubs don't see a single cent.
