Ladiฤ and Mraz are a disaster on top of a disaster. They're lucky they haven't been beaten up in the stands a few times by now. Thereโs another terrible pair too, but I can't recall their names right now. American refs are pathetic. I'm really curious if any of our "phenomenal" officiating duos will actually be out on the field in 2009. ๐คฎ

WHY IS NOBODY SELLING THE USA NATIONAL HANDBALL JERSEY? Iโve been hunting for one for three months straightโitโs like nobody has even heard of them! Most people don't even realize Adidas makes them. Honestly, the biggest insult was when a clerk tried to offer me a Real Madrid jersey instead, claiming "it's the same thing since they're both Adidas"!!!!!!!! It's an absolute joke. We have jerseys for Real, Bayern, Chelsea, Liverpool... but nothing for the national team. If only I lived in Los Angeles (unfortunately)

These handball players are absolute legends... honestly, not many people actually believed they could pull this off, and now silver feels almost too small. Iโm definitely gutted we didn't snag the gold, of course. But looking at this rosterโwith basically everyone nursing an injuryโthis is a massive win. You have to respect how hard they fought; the grit and motivation they showed was incredible. I'm hoping we catch the next big tournament in New York, where we can finally prove we belong at the top and take home the title. As for the Danes, weโll see them in seven months at the Olympics... if we cross paths, we're going to crush them. Weโll have way more time to gear up for the Olympics since the major championships will be over, giving us practically three full months of solid training ๐.
I truly believe weโre going to show everyone whoโs boss at the Olympics!

And, yeah, I wouldn't be exactly thrilled if we blew the soccer European Championship final. I mean, sure, in five years I might look back and think, "Man, we were cool, we got silver, that was great," but on the actual day? You wouldn't be happy about it for anything. ๐

I don't know, man, I just know... after that semifinal against the French, it felt like we were already playing in the championship game (and not just because of the hype). As for the officiating, the rigging, and all that nonsenseโIโm putting that squarely on USA Handball. Since we're a legitimate powerhouse in this sport, thereโs zero logic in seeing the Scandinavians getting all the preferential treatment... I mean, who else is going to screw over the Brazilians with terrible officiating in soccer?

Check ESPN. They used to carry the national handball jerseys, though they were unnumbered...

The officiating was absolutely disgraceful once again. I honestly find it hard to believe that such subpar refereeing is acceptable for a European Championship final. To be perfectly honestโand I mean this sincerelyโitโs becoming genuinely nauseating to watch this sport anymore.
