How do I upload images and videos to the forum?

I just kept it in the exact same format you used for your last avatar—so, yeah, it's a .png. You can always switch it over to a .jpg yourself if you really want to, but honestly, there's no point. It’s not exactly a massive file.

You really ought to be using the "thumbnail" option. Some of those image hosting sites—Imgur, for instance—actually give you that choice.

I'm not sure about other browsers, but if you're using Firefox, just right-click the image and select "show image information." The dimensions will be listed in the window that pops up.

I need some help here...
Why on earth is my clickable thumbnail acting so weird? Every time I click it, it just opens up the tiny preview image from Imgur instead of the full thing. What am I doing wrong?

This is the image you uploaded. Or maybe you just picked some weird resizing option during the upload process. 🤷

I know for a fact I didn't upload an image like that... all I did was select 150x112 (thumbnail) from the dropdown menu and hit 'Yes' for the thumbnail label. Now there's no label at all, but the picture is resized anyway. Seriously, what is going on? 😢
